I've also changed over most of the lights in the house, just buy them when on sale with energy saving coupons. I'm later to the game on this one as they were just too expensive in the beginning.

My oldest one is only 6 months but all still working. Just to track the performance I write the install date on the bulb base so if one ever burns out I will know the time frame.
