One of the side-effects "slow heart rate" doesn't sound too bad, except that it can slow down and almost stop. My family member had mild-moderate AZ , didn't previously have trouble with her heart, it pumped ok, but, not only did her AZ keep getting worse, but in retrospect, I think it made her heart go crazy. It kept changing speeds. They put in a pacemaker but it didn't help. The last episode, it slowed down and stopped. She couldn't be revived.

Like I've said before, current "standard of care" AZ drugs are crap.
