Maybe people dumping the December contract today who knows. It's the last day that it trades. But UWTI is tracking January contract. The contracts do move in tandem usually but not precisely.

Shorting or selling any pop is what looks like is happening. I would not open a new short position at these levels. Apparently others are a lot more ballsy than me though.

As the old cliche goes, "knowledge is power." Knowledge and education in trading are key to success. Never stop learning.
