I trade mostly with schwab since it costs me only $14.95 per trade, and it fills my order within seconds (I trade only Nasdaq stocks).

Did you contact the office and question them? Hundred dollars per trade is crazy, unless, of course, you trade more than 3000 shares at a time, since they would charge $0.03/shares.

If you want another fast broker, try Interactive Broker (http://www.interactivebrokers.com), they charge $0.01/share/trade and they are very fast, too. Their options and futures trading features would leave Datek in the dust.
