Hodge, following up on our conversation about why the last injections were not given to everyone, we know at least one person who received another type of care after DCVax Direct.....Allen Butler. I believe it was Linda Powers who said during one of her earlier conferences that Direct shrunk his primary, inoperable tumor to the point that it became operable, and he had it surgically removed. We do not know if Allen received all of his injections or not. I've always assumed he was the patient with the longer life on that chart that NWBO has on its poster, but maybe he isn't. Maybe he left the clinical trial to have his tumor operated on?
Again, this is not something I thought to ask Dr. Bosch.

If we're brainstorming possibilities about why patients didn't get through all six shots, I suggest we put this one on the table as well ....that Direct made some tumors operable and patients chose surgery over finishing the trial.

I'm hoping that when Researchers put together their scientific paper on Direct results, they find out if Direct made other tumors operable. If it did, it's big, big news.

Finally, I think that compressing the injection schedule, as they plan to do for Phase ll, will eliminate some of these issues doctors faced during Phase l, because they'll move through the injections quicker.
