Pay for skills and sales would go-a-long-way
It does not matter if you blow up balloons or build super computers An employee must have incentive to become better at what they do. At this time they have no stock incentive or match. You can work your butt off or hide in the stock room and get paid the same. Party City is a people oriented company and its future will depend on how they treat their first line and only line of growth "Its employees". It is a common mistake such as circuit city made a few years ago. Party City will become a thing of the past if they do not actively work on helping their employees. 401K health benefits etcetera its time to move up to the current century to survive. Anything less will make their new acquisitions of suppliers moot. While we are at it lets throw in a career path as an additional incentive.
