Our newest and most exciting growth segment is medical food. These are foods or supplements that are specially-formulated and intended for the dietary management of certain diseases that have distinctive nutritional needs unmet by conventional diet alone. They were defined in the Food and Drug Administration's 1988 Orphan Drug Act Amendments and are subject to the general food and safety labeling requirements of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Medical foods are more than simple dietary supplements. They are specific formulations containing all natural ingredients which through human clinical studies have been shown to reverse disease progression. Our leading brand in this segment is GenEpic(TM) which we plan to develop and widely market over the next five years. We hope that NNRX USA will be the leader in new and innovative medical foods, and we intend to leverage our expertise and technologies to position ourselves as a world leader in this category.
