Your understanding here is very wrong. The reverse split in itself didn't put any less value on your shares as if the RS wouldn't have been done. The stock would be at the same level just in pre split prices. Since the company didn't give out additional shares after the RS yet, your value is completely the same right now as it would be without a RS. Also without the RS the stock would have continued to go down without progress.
