OT: Regarding sitting on the bid (jimo of course):

There are two factors to consider,

one is your account where the best price possible (bid) is a 20% discount from .0005 (ask) for you cost vs holdings.

The other factor is the affect your transaction has on the actual stock price.

Purely IMO:
While the PPS decreases, consolidates and trades sideways.... there is no bullish pressure and therefore buying the ask is simply not enough to move the PPS unless you get the majority of potential investors on the same page (lol...good luck with that)

Because of this I believe it is prudent (referring to your personal account) to attempt to get the best price possible (at the bid) while the PPS consolidates.
However, once this consolidation is ending, I believe it is prudent to buy at the ask which re-enforces the bullish pressure that is forming.

To me it is a question of timing (bullish/bearish) and one would be wise to trade with the market and not against it at any given time.

Final note:
Arguing this topic is out of place IMO because any given investor must do what is best for their account and this is not always what is best for the stock. There are many factors that go into this and it boils down to personal preference and trading style.

Conclusion:
Put the priority with your own numbers first and then always buy the ask when possible.
