"For the Oil and Natural Gas segment, first quarter total production was 5.1 million barrels of oil equivalent, an increase of 5% over the fourth quarter or 7% on a per day basis. Operating cost for the first quarter decreased 16% from the fourth quarter. The decrease was primarily attributable to reductions in lease operating, salt water disposal, work over activity and production tax credit refunds we received related high cost gas well."
