I grew up in Jersey, use to go to Yankee Stadium with my cigar smoking Grandfather. Those were the days of Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Joe Pepitone, Elston Howard, Bobby Richardson, Clete Boyer, Whitey Ford, Mel Stottlemeyer, etc. I remember it as if it were yesterday.

A good friend of mine was a Red Sox fan. But I am a life long Yankee fan, just happen to be living in Red Sox land. But I've liked many a Red Sox player (favorite is Yaz) and team, just not when they play the Yanks. I was wallpapering my kitchen in Jersey listening to the radio during the 1978 play off game when Bucky Dent hit that 3 run homer off of Mike Torrez (former Yankee). Alright now you got me going down memory lane. I need to go tuck the little ones in.
