I can only give you a guess Strategery - The U.S. price is going to move in tandem with the Canadian price and with the exchange in Canadian dollar. If the price moves up in Canada and there is no volume in U.S., shares are only offered at a little higher price U.S. - Thats just my guess though.

I live in the U.S. but trade Canadian stocks through a U.S. broker and my fills are instant. I never as a rule buy through the U.S. side cause of liquidity.
