There does seem to be a lack of interest by US investors. Rather that's due to awareness is a good question. They did have a moment of popularity at the peek.
Pardon the conspiracy but I almost feel like media and analysts aren't giving Arcam much praise due to the fact that they put so much behind DDD, which has continually disappointed. I have mentioned previously how Fool's Steve Heller has downplayed Arcam publicly but that his disclosure states that he is a shareholder.
There has been a throw spaghetti at the refrigerator and see what sticks trend with several 3D companies. All the while, Arcam has been focused like an electron beam While Arcam is a shiny spot, the sector as a whole has been tarnished and many investors don't know how to break down the 3D printing sector into it's profitable subcategories.
