OK, maybe that was just my kids back then at that age as they are like oil & water. To this day everything is a competition with them.

Sad, cause when I was their age my sister & I worked together.

Like when it snowed we'd both come home & tell Mom hardly no one is there at school but you'll need to write a note anyways.

It worked every time!
We now kid Mom about it she went for that.

BTW ........... that is one long drive for you. WOW!
I guess you getting warmed up for your drive to Washington state some summer.
We have the best peaches & cherries that are worth the trip just for them!
