I know what you mean. It's tough to tell when a downtrend is ending and time to go long. Trying to find it can cost a lot of small losses in trying. In this case, if it dips further I'll add some more instead of bailing out because we know for sure oil will go up at some point. It has to.

RS doesn't mean much on a futures-based instrument though. The amount of capital you have will stay the same and there aren't any 'company' dynamics such as equity dilution that'll occur after a RS like they do on stocks. There's no operation to fund, it's just oil futures contract based. That's why the real concern is mostly just the trend, global conditions/catalysts, and contango.

Maybe we call all find the right entry together and ride the next uptrend a bit smile
