Naive maybe trusting of advise from friends. Never ever been suckered by scams before in my life and always been very cynical of any "free lunch." But as we know we are none infallible and at some point in our lives have been ripped off, even if for only a dollar. That however does not necessarily make the retail client greedy. Investing, taking a risk and trying to make money is capitalism the society structure we were born into. I hope and pray that these people when your concerns and evaluation have been proven correct actually end up doing some serious time. If as you say this is the world of the pinks and is home to every potential scam artist due to lack of control and scrutiny then would love to see this company shone up in lights for what it is and used as a benchmark for any other potential con artist and be shown that there is a day of reckoning. I also agree that if any broker was truly recommending this stock then they should have their licence removed or fully publish all of their DD and exactly why they would have touted it as an investment backed with all their evidence.
