Paying a couple hundred thousand to create a multi million dollar company is not rare, it happens all the time. It is like saying, how did you buy Apple stock for $20, it is now a $100 company. Easy i was there at the start.
Takes money to make money and going public costs a lot of money and takes a lot of ongoing effort that will keep the costs increased after the company is officially public. But being public gives greater access to capital and growth. I think some here who seem to keep a loose grasp of their brokerage account need some brushing up on financial markets, reverse mergers and taking companies public as this is all very typical stuff that happens all the time.
