'Why wouldn't DMRJ wait for higher prices to convert?'

If you making over a dollar profit with each share it is pretty immaterial the difference between 1.2 and 1.4 if you miss the opportunity to sell at 1.2. The most important thing to them is volume not price, i.e. if someone put up a million block at 58c DMRJ would satisfy it in seconds because it is still instant 500K profit on an 8c option sale.

DMRJ will keep this stock range-bound between 1.18 and 1.40 for the foreseeable future. They start aggressively selling at 1.40+ to ensure they convert before management can convert their options at that price in volume and then stop selling at 1.18 to ensure their highest price options are still in the money. All these options created by management/DMRJ have set the trading range for this stock for the last few years.

This is why there was a recent webcast, to help find that next $100m to get rid of all these options as the current investors have exhausted their capability to absorb them and still keep the price rising.
