Amazing article Jack and very recent!! WERPO needs to capitalize on this huge influx of funding!

From the Power Africa website (www.usaid.gov/powerafrica):

Power Africa also works closely with development finance partners, such as the African Development Bank and the World Bank, to enhance the availability of energy sector resources.

Power Africa’s financial partners have committed to providing over $20 billion in project finance through direct loans, guarantee facilities, and equity investments.

I really hope WERPO is grabbing a piece of that $20 billion in financing!

The World Bank Group committed $5 billion in new technical and financial support for energy projects in six African countries - Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, and Tanzania - which have partnered with President Obama's Power Africa initiative.

We know WERPO is in Kenya and Tanzania! Hopefully they got financing through Obama's Power Africa.
