Leaning: a definite butnot decisive attraction or tendency.

syn: Leaning. Propensity, proclivity, penchant means a strong instinct or liking for something.

Leaning suggestsa liking or attraction not strong enough to be decisive or uncontrollable.

To me it simply means that you are slightly or more in favor of one or the other at the time.
