The correct term is UAV's not Drone's. Last summer Washington, DC had it's first ever Unmanned Ariel/Aviation Vehicle's Conference which is supposed to help promote the use of the so called friendly drones as you put it. They believed the word drone came with a lot of negatives and that's why the came up with the UAV. I live in DC and the hated the word drone so much that they even changed the wifi password for the event to "dontsaydrones" I'm not sure if I like that fact that this company is called Drone Aviation Holding Corp with the symbol DRNE lol.
