1dmg1 something else to remember is that once the merger is complete there will be a reverse split. They always do because the only way for the acquiring company to realize funds from the sale of stock is to have stock to sell , increasing the O/S brings down the price of the stock and is an option seldom used as it has an even more deteriorating effect than the reverse split.
