NEWL's last annual report was a shambles, of their own admission. There are literally over 50,000 stocks that can be traded. At the very least, regarding "investing", a person can fairly safely start their research here:

I highly doubt the majority of people who post on iHub are anything more than retail swing traders looking for a quick move off momentum. NEWL is not the type of stock that finds its way into a portfolio, unless you are a gunslinger who cordons off a small percentage for OTC or 100% speculative plays on stocks trending to zero.

As for me, you are correct. I solely trade off technicals. Regarding "investing", i.e. on the longer timeframe, I diversify and in fact simply tie part of my assets to the S&P, as that is the simplest manner to ensure high yield. This said, because I trade technicals, I am also very conscious of the S&P's resistance levels and trending.

People who minimize technicals or infer those who use them should not post probably miss the most important point. TA is objective, encapsulates the fundamentals, and is the purest distillate of actual psychology - and triggers - than any of the coverage in the media, reports and/or PR. Most importantly, technicals convey no bias. They simply articulate tangible targets off existing momentum, including MM intervention (which is defining in a stock like NEWL).

There is no right or wrong way to trade. People simply have to define their own rules, have their own plans, remove the emotional elements, and live by such rules/plans. If they cannot do this, they should not trade. Trading is really, really difficult. Particularly on stocks being patently manipulated for companies that are, have been, and always will be red.

(A) Have very reasonable expectations; (B) Educate yourself and perform due diligence; (C) Don't enter without a strategic plan and target, for both best and worst case scenarios; and (D) Lead inward/outward and never follow.
