im far from a saint. I will argue with a tree but something happened last nite that puts things in a more balanced perspective for me. my gf and i go to the local park every Friday nite to hear the free bands play. we ran into a friend there who is a minister. we were talking to the minister when this married couple sauntered by. the minister introduced my gf and I to the married couple and as the married couple walked away the minister said to married couple that he would be praying for them. I asked the minister why he told the married couple he would be praying for them. he told me that the wife was 50 yrs old and found out last week that she was completely eaten up with cancer and had two months to live. this reminded me why I was taking such a big risk with nwbo. you have to admit that this company and linda powers have guts to go after the two most deadly diseases that face the human race which are brain cancer and inoperable tumors. there is literally nothing on earth that can budge the outcome in either of these diseases an inch. they are certain death and usually a quick and horrible death. our personal differences and egos on this message board pale in comparison to the people with with these diseases who are facing certain death everyday. im sorry. I don't mean to moralize even though I guess I am. for a million years the only technology man had created was a chopper which was basically just a rock broken in half. thousands of generations have lived and died just to get us to the point where we even have a chance for nwbo to have a shot on goal. everyone on this message board should pat themselves on the back for what they are doing and what they are a part of no matter what the outcome. if it works, even a little , it will be the first time ih 5 million years of mans evolution that he has been able to budge these two intractable and horrible diseases. if it fails then much will be learned from it. good luck to all and may God be with everyone on this board in this rather brave and reckless enterprise.
