Scott founded our company in 2006 to take advantage of what he perceived to be a paradigm shift in the 150 year old, multi-billion dollar a year, yellow-pages business model as well as similar shifts in other traditional media outlets like newspaper and radio. With the advent and market acceptance of measurable and relatively low cost Internet and technology centric products such as local search directories and city guides, PPC advertising, social media, blogging, call tracking and recording and more, he determined that over the coming decades billions of US and Global ad dollars would move out of these traditional media sources and into Internet and Technology centric sources. He began assembling the pieces and people that would enable him to build the largest Local search network in America. Today, TheDirectory.com network generates over 6 million visitors a month, Scott and his team are working towards making that dream a reality.
