I thought aliens used element 115 to power their craft. Are you telling me Bob Lazar was <gasp> lying?
LD
That's another question we can't answer about AUMN. Put it on the long list.
LD
If he wanted to save money those doing the drilling would be aliens.
LD
Tailings.
I know that PR seems weird, but apparently there is big business in the tailings of yesteryear.
From Wikipedia:
Tailings (also known as tailings pile, tails, leach residue, or slickens[1]) are the materials left over[2] after the process of separating the valuable fraction from the worthless fraction of an ore.
Tailings represent external costs of mining. As mining techniques and the price of minerals improve, it is not unusual for tailings to be reprocessed using new methods, or more thoroughly with old methods, to recover additional minerals. Yesterday's tails can be tomorrow's resource, as seen during the 1990s when the extensive tailings dumps of Kalgoorlie / Boulder in Western Australia were re-processed profitably by KalTails Mining.
That tailings pile may prove to be quite profitable for RSDS. Maybe. We'll see.
LD
It wasn't recent. That was a few months ago, and I believe they were supposed to be buying up a bunch of claims by the end of July or mid August.
LD
Most likely TRSI decided to stay out of UX and stick with oil. Their Pr'd date for buying up claims is long gone. They'll probably focus their efforts in Texas instead of Utah.
LD
News soon. . .
or not. I mean, there has to be some update right? Oh, wait, I forgot. The business of this business is to keep the business of business away from those interested in the business of said business. A shrewd move indeed. I guess we have to wait for the R/S then 504 for him to tell us anything.
Sorry for the title. I just wanted you to experience the sensation of hope again for at least one second.
LD
PRs, lots of 'em. Buyout news. Fantabulous drilling results. Any, or combination thereof, should do the trick. Drilling results should be favorable just need it on official letterhead now.
LD
Could happen with some results, but the flippers have to let it go.
LD
Everybody's waiting for the lab results which could come at any time now. Would really like an update on the drilling.
LD
He's making himself a bunch of money. He's also trying to lower the pps to .0001 so he can R/S and feed us a line that we need a higher share price to be taken seriously. See MHUI for an example. Sorry, folks, he's scamming us.
LD
Doubt it. Seems like his intention all along was to dump it down to .0001 then R/S and then 504. I assume we'll come to find those 2 billion extra O/S shares wound up in his pocket. That way when he R/S's he'll have plenty to sell for himself and plenty to stay in control.
Would love to be proven wrong, but with no PR, in a time where it is most necessary, cannot bode well.
LD
Maybe he tried to keep it under the radar till he could firmly PR why he did it? It's one thing to increase and say we're hoping to do this. It's another to say I've increased share count, but I have acquired/done this with it. Which case we have here is yet to be determined.
LD
It's hard to. Berman says he hates us, but then chooses to conduct email correspondence with a few here. Apparently, whatever he writes in those emails is substantial enough for them to assure everyone else things are ok. They may be, but why is he not sending these great assurances to Aware so he can post them on the website under Investor Relations? Seems simple enough to me. Hell, he could even go the extra mile and print it out, sign it, scan it and then send it to Aware to be posted. Instead he does neither. I'm sure he has a plan, but as a shareholder I'm not in the loop to know what it is.
He raised the A/S to 10 billion. That is a large increase (understatement of the year). I'm sure for something, but what? That's really all, I think, anyone here wants to know. He put the previous 504 money and stock increase to good use, and I'm sure this will be too. Just like the CEO to state that to everyone.
For the record I still see good potential and haven't sold any.
LD
He sent them to you to upload to the website? Are you building ru308.com?
LD
I'm sure we'd all like to say it, but we're too busy choking on Jonestown Tea.
LD
Sure looks like a cash grab. There's still a chance he's actually doing something with the shares since he used a lot of shares to buy claims. There could be a good rationale for this; just wish he'd actually say what it was. I'd say expect a PR explaining what this is for, but with his disdain for shareholders I assume a R/S is forthcoming. Too bad, the company has potential, hell, he may even have a plan, but he seems to think he can accomplish it without informing the shareholders what it is.
LD
There is more than can be done (I'm intrigued by the Projects and Partnerships on the left), but photo documentation of purchased drilling equipment and actual drilling being done is excellent. The website update gives us a lot to look forward to as well as current work being done. The next few months should be interesting.
LD
We were expecting them last week. Wonder why it wasn't PR'd at all. Maybe only 1 of the 2 permits came through?
Oh, well, looking forward to resource evaluation. I don't think it's a question whether we'll find uranium just how much. That's the question and that's the bet.
Let 'er ride.
LD
Nooooooo!
You just jinxed us. You posted a positive prediction at post #666. Oh, noes!
Seriously, though, I agree. Things are shaping up for ol' RSDS. Hoping for permit news in the morn. Still would like to see the grand opening of RU308.com.
LD
Not after you jinx it like that. Now prepare for Doom!
LD
I bet Ironman emails Berman 20 times a day. That's why he hates us now.
Another thing, I keep reading that we know Berman reads this board. How do we know this for sure? Is it speculation? I know Frick and Frack a few months back liked to spread it around to bash the stock, but those saying it now are reliable. Has he said as much to anyone?
LD
New Quaterly report is out on Pinksheets.com.
LD
Did Mr. Berman say "watch this space" or are you telling us to? I assume we'll be seeing an update? Shortly?
LD
And they are?
LD
Personnel to acquire could refer to Anthony Brandt. He is RSDS' agent in Utah who has taken care of a lot of the deals. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the $350,000 went to Brandt as well. As has been posted before, the claims acquired from AUMN may be in his name right now. He'll then transfer them to RSDS.
LD
That should be 5-20 days. The mining update came out on May 30th with an estimate of 45-60 days. That is the second half of July.
LD
I agree that the website shouldn't be taking this long to finish. However, my thinking is that it will contain info that hasn't been pr'd yet. So the reason it may not be up is some deals are still being finalized (e.g. AUMN).
If it is just a rehash of what we already know then? Well, I guess we can all pile into Loofman's pickup truck with a dozen empty pillowcases, 1000 bars of Lifebuoy and a map to RSDS HQ.
LD
That's Floyd Bleak. He owns 1/3 of those claims. Brandt and Wilcox sold their share of the claims to RSDS.
LD
I read the same thing. Here's the post.
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=21062197
Ha, I kid I kid.
LD
Simple, RSDS bought a company (Ithaca Industries: ITHI) then did a reverse split with it and changed the symbol to AUMC (American Uranium Mining Company). This is not a r/s for RSDS nor is it a new symbol for RSDS. The only thing AUMC has to do with RSDS is that it's a subsidiary.
Don't freak out on us, Tamarack. Even keel so far.
LD
Close proximity. I think some of the claims are about 30 miles away. This means less expense incurred hauling to the mill, plus it makes RSDS a pretty buyout target for Denison. If our claim valuations pan out well in Q4 the Big D may look for a deal.
Just my opinion.
LD
It should be. Mining news should be coming soon. If that comes through with no issues (read: water) then we're in business. Couple that with the JV with TRSI and Denison opening up White Mesa Mill for business and we're pulling in decent revenue real soon.
Things are lining up. Let's just hope they fall into place.
LD
My guess to why he put it out is this:
1. 504 is done. Put out whatever info you can to increase awareness of the company.
2. Get the big pink check when Pink Sheets Categories finally take effect on August 1, 2007.
http://www.pinksheets.com/otcguide/categories.jsp
LD
Tabling in the US means to suspend discussion while in Canada and Britain it means to commence discussion.
What a strange convolution of semantics.
I agree with the sentiment, though, we need to ask Berman about these issues.
LD
Mmmmm, bottled uranium water. When two arms just aren't enough.
LD
True. Expect to see more action between RSDS, TRSI and AUMC. We should get a few more PRs fleshing this out.
Hopefully the website will be open soon.
LD
He's probably referencing the PR that came out in the middle of 2006. That came out before the 504, before the symbol change and before the company focused on uranium claims. I doubt he plans to do it anymore. At least, not with RSDS. Maybe if there is a merger or what have you between TRSI, RSDS and AUMC.
LD
They are within the Regulation D program. The twist of words is yours and yours alone.
LD
If we're lucky, we'll be able to use in-situ recovery methods instead. I believe Davidd (don't remember his alias exactly) posted some great links about it. One link talked about three uranium companies in Texas. One performed ISR using really long hoses and that was it. Really really cheap extraction. The others used hoses and pumps. Still cheap.
We'll be able to tell whether ISR is viable once we get core samples.
ISR + Geo Reports = Asset value explosion.
