I know that Biotech Jim has followed MDGL for many years, not sure how he stands on VKTX which has been very strong this year. He has posted here recently and it would be interesting to see his thoughts on this...congrats for your excellent coverage on VKTX.

As much as you are criticized here, there is actually no person here who can offer the detailed analysis that you offer! Yes, it is sad to admit that you have been spot on for a long time and admired by some (me for one)!!! How many here would be even able to go into such detailed analysis?
Yes, Dr. Jin does have an advantage over you in that he has actually seen the data, but so far nothing has been revealed to actual shareholders, no wonder that the lawyers are smelling bad things.
Actually, I was here for RETT, but the message board did not forecast that correctly....so now we need a life boat!
Yes... and who am I to predict the final outcome!
You have a legal background and experience, so I just have to await the possibility of a potential hearing or otherwise...I have learned to wait.
"Now let’s wait til post 12th May to know what happens next…"
Seems correct to me..BTW, I hate litigation cases and I am now stuck now in mud
Thanks, Kiwi...not sure that I have a kidney problem other than a large stone which causes no problem at this point. I was advised to drink lots of water to flush out the contrast...my prepping certainly allowed my body to tolerate the contrast (and I really have no other indication that iodine contrast ever caused my reaction to it many years ago)....I know that iodine itself has no effect on me, so the prep was done for safety purposes as far as I know. After I see the doctor on April 24th, I'll let you know what comes out of it.
I think I have finally shaken off this cold I received one day after my procedure on 3/18....yes, it has taken this long!
Hope you had a Happy Easter!
Best. Steve
Yes, "Discovery" is the ticket ....thanks for this order
Hope you and family enjoy a Happy Easter!!!
I do wish that Dr. Jin would be allowed to say something about how he is "suggesting" changes to Missling in being honest and clear on things! Missling reminds me of some who think that only what they say is important. His bad habits do not go unnoticed.
Agree with that, for sure, (around 1 year)
,,,,, for positive developments which will give the market a reason to advance in price
Nice story, we'll wait it out for another year, right?
Happy Easter to you and your family!
Regards, Steve

🤩 let's hope we all are rewarded for waiting it out! Ha ha
Thanks! We'll see what is suggested and I'll let you know! As you know I only had 300 shs of SWAV and sold for a profit of $25,000 so it was worth it, but I then avoided getting back in, since the takeout by those rumored to be interested seemed to think SWAV wanted too much....it's now up to where I had wanted to set aside....my tough luck!
Steve
👍️....I reach "80" in April, so I am beyond my expectations now after seeing my mother pass away at 70 (1987 when I was full grip into a market crash and what I feared was potentially "the end of my career"...it did not happen)....my father lived to 82 after both he and his brothers were together at Anzio during WWII...his older brother was a medical doctor and his other brother a machine gun soldier.....all 3 survived and were on the 2nd advance and served as translators in Italy which probably was a good thing...my father did get dysentery after eating a sick cow a long with others who were very hungry, however the war changed him into a very angry, unhappy person....my grandparents from Sicily cared for my Mom and taught her how to cook (she was a great cook)....
Disagree with your thought on this!!!.....I would have done exactly the same and actually think Investor is close to the target date of having important news which would be on or before 2025.....this option exercise was smart as the bad news was already made public and would have expired in May....next year should be a more important timeline and gives him time...this year might be too short to call.
actually, $1.32 for these, but next year is the one around .92 cents for 500K....and you are correct they would have EXPIRED by May....let's give it until next year April 2025 and see if I'm still kicking...ha ha
Kentucky:
It underscores his disappointment with RETT result & I can hardly blame him....the next BIG PAYOFF (if he is correct) comes next year 2025 when his next boatload of options expire (500,000 on April 2nd 2025 struck at .92 cents)....more afterwards, but I'll probably not stay beyond that point...
Thanks, Kentucky!...since those are related to his total compensation NDA's and his acquisition/exercise price was only $1.32 seems like a good decision on his part after the RETT Excellence Result...sadly!
Appreciate you spotting this and reporting it, too! Steve
Kiwi:
I had a chance to view those links: I did not have IVUS or OCT...but rather Angiogram/Angioplasty to lower left leg (below the knee) which later was decided to do both legs..."no intervention" was decided prior to procedure after discussion with doc as to risks, so I will see him and discuss, also mentioning the Shockwave procedure, too...hopefully, he will be impressed, but some doctors only do what they are familiar with...he has been in practice for close to 30 years.
Steve
Thanks, Kiwi!
I value your opinion and will watch these after I get prepared today....best, Steve
Hi Tom!
Your last sentence is what I am thinking, too!
Best to just watch........regards, Steve
Hi Kiwi
The surgery was done on 3/18 and my follow up is not until 4/24, so other than what was done, I'm not yet clear on my options. This is my 2nd angiogram/angioplasty since the 1st one gave little improvement to my below the knee problems, so this one was to take pictures down to my feet....it went well with no complications other than me being there from 10am to getting home at 8pm....2 or so hours for the procedure which required "prepping" Dexamethasone, Benadryl, so it was long and then 3 hours lying on my back without moving much! This time I did not have the bruising like the last time with the stents to my illiac area and pain....BUT....I got sick from being in the hospital for so long and I am recovering from some sort of bug (nasal congestion, chest cold, headache, etc...still trying to recover even now! When I see the doctor, I hope to hear about my options considering my diabetic neuropathy, cancer, & whatever....he said that any type of balloon in my lower legs would have risks if it had been done, so he suggested no intervention at this time....BTW, I turn 80 on April 9th...let's hope I'm still kicking for a while.......best, Steve

Congratulations....me too!
I reach 80 on April 9th and glad to have been with my family in these last and trying medical times for me, but still around.
For those of you watching the price here:
There is a very minor downtrend line where the top hits right above current levels (5.30 to 5.40) to my old eyes...imo, the key price level to surpass would be above the highest level in this trend, but surely popping above the 50 day would be more convincing..it would point to a next goal (short term) to around $6...above that would suggest appx 6.95 (200 day)....calm minds prevail...for me to be more impressed I would expect that the first powerful signal would be to see the RSI pop 50, but it has already been looking good to me...have fun....I have missed TSLA, SWAV, and VKTX recently....oops!
😄👍️ here are 2 emoji's for you! ha ha
Leo:
You've got the right idea and it has mostly worked for you! Going for 50 cent pops has been worthwhile; I no longer have patience for that; too old! ha ha
There is another way, too! You can also short puts against a short position which is considered a "covered position"
Kiwi
You are really on a roll! VKTX and now SWAV...wow!
Steve
PS had some setbacks in health and saw my vascular doc at hospital for another angiogram to below the kneed....overall took 10 hours at hospital 10 am to 8pm....had to lie still after procedure for 3 hours....it was not fun!
Tom: my thinking is from the standpoint of at least an intermediate term low based on what I posted:
3 visible strikes down which is normal (actually a 4th, too)...with a no news turn in price behavior and an RSI positive divergence signal...I admit that I just posted what I thought might be a turning point. The trend has been down for 3 months plus...I just liked today's attempt to turn up & it could easily fail
FWIW: there are normally 3 visible spikes down...
in downtrends and 3 in uptrends, too, before a more important turn in price!
This time we actually had 4, but during the last phase down you will notice that the RSI held up well with the price declining and the RSI holding up. Today is the first attempt of a sign of strength in some time...with noticeable resistance @ both the 50 day (5.55) and 200 day(6.97).
🤩...ha ha
Thanks, Doc!.....I was initially shocked at my diagnosis since I had been pretty healthy for most of my life....after my bad 1st experience, I was prepped each time with Dexamethasone, Benadryl, and Pepcid with very slow infusions lasting 6 hours....so I only had one emergency hospital visit which at first was thought to be a heart attack but was later diagnosed as RBBB...life is tough...both of my daughters have had breast cancer, one when she was only 25 and just married, she's now 53 with her daughter, 21, graduating from college this year and was captain of her swimming team, dean's list and lined up for a nice job with the Washington Speakers Bureau with some famous clients (her father is very respected there and does very well)...She had a double mastectomy last year and is now doing well after her 2nd bout with cancer. My other daughter is 51 and had an aggressive breast cancer and had the full chemo/radiation/hair loss treatment when she was only 37...now doing really nicely! Her two daughters (twins....19) are freshmen at the same college as their graduating cousin...loving their Sorority Sisters in Alpha Sigma Alpha...wish I had it as nice as they have...I had a tougher road with very little help, my father was strict and not easy (Sicilian)...oh well, appreciate your guidance, always!
Appreciate your kind words, HMB!
Thanks, WilliamMunny, appreciate your kind thoughts!
Mike
I am glad you are still alive, sorry that you had that foolish reply to Abe's query so stated; I remember such things and who would have the boldness to post such nonsense? Stay well.
WilliamMunny:
My personal experience with monoclonal antibodies is with Rituxan (Rituximab) for approximately 4 years for my Splenic NHL treatment is that it certainly appealed to me using my own immune system to attack the cancer still sitting in my bone marrow and eventually brought me into remission. My cancer is an incurable cancer. but supposedly can be controlled!...tough luck for me and it came on later in life, so I can enjoy being with my family for a while.. The initial use of Rituxan did not take well as it felt like a sledge hammer hitting my back and I needed to go via ambulance to the hospital. So I started with Bendemustine (Chemo) but was later convinced to try with Rituxan again with proper "prepping and slow infusions" (6 hours).
However, lately I have read that it somehow these monoclonal treatments can have negative protein spikes and messes with your immune system ...this is why (I think) I had a personal bad experience after my RSV shot in September 2023.....still have many medical issues and setbacks....oh well.
I believe I have figured out the mystery!
For Missling in May he receives his NDA compensation in the form of expiring options for 2024 73,380 struct at $1.32
In 2025 he receives a very big NDA compensation in expiring options 500,000 struck at .92 cents.
Last year I was thankfully corrected to the fact that these options come in as compensation and not as incentive option grants and are taxable to the stepped up cost...so these will be affect his overall tax basis on the $8 adjusted cost basis of last years process which benefits him by reducing his cost to exercise (raising cash to pay for them)...he has other options coming after 2025, too....but I will avoid thinking about those....ha ha
Bottom line: Be prepared to wait as long as next year (2025) if you want to accept Missling NOT rushing things!!! He fooled me, but he stands to gain quite a bit if successful by then...no sense in hiding that FACT.....maybe I'll still be patient.
FWIW
The favorite board is not working at all! It brings up the "Oops Message" and forces me to go to each individual board to see what has been posted....
This Harvard Review article was certainly indicative of what investors should expect and is a very short and to the point read! Surprised that you got hit with several bad emoji's....
Very accurate! Thanks for the article.

We both know that this is an extremely speculative stock with a very unusual CEO...primary holdings should be with proven stocks and outstanding leadership....My experiences with Class Action Lawsuits is you get chump change, the lawyers get to buy a new high end car.
Hope you do OK financially! My best
Yeah, I read elsewhere to be wary of this even though the price has moved from $8 to $13....strange to think this is a "caveat emptor" situation!
