Absolutely Shocking! Corruption in CA?
https://news.yahoo.com/details-show-sprawling-corruption-southern-120041981.html
The revelations mirror a Times investigation on corruption in marijuana licensing. Citing The Times' story, a California lawmaker wants a statewide task force ...
Just picked up 25k more (a lot for poors like me :( ) But it knocks my average to almost 1 cent. If they keep adding acres, anyone think theres a chance this could hit 10 or 25 cents within the next 5 years?
https://news.yahoo.com/tax-cut-california-pot-industry-192202135.html
California's governor on Friday proposed a temporary tax cut for the state's struggling legal marijuana industry, but businesses said it falls far short of wha...
I just tried to take out a 17 million dollar loan but was promptly denied. Apparently, my 27 shares of AFPW that I put up for collateral was not engough!
So you're saying that if I put my ask at what I paid .0024 then there is still hope that I could get my money back since the stock will be so volatile?
After I was done gambling (investing) my stimulus money in the Russell 3000 casino, I had anout $150 that I hadn't gambled (invested) yet and decided to really gamble and go to the pinks. I somehow ended up gambling on this gem at .0027. Then I've watched my 150 of Uncle Sam's (or my tax) dollars slowly go down the drain on this one. But reading the comments and arguments on this thread every evening has almost been worth my 150 bucks I've lost on AFPW.
I dropped my keys on the ground today and offered someone 50k shares of AFPW if they would kindly pick them up for me. They immediately started laughing and said it wasn't worth their time. Unfortunately they're correct.
Those plants in the tweet are looking weird to me. Still in shock at how complicated it is to grow aloe Vera plants in CA. But as soon as they harvest and get that gel out to market I'll definitely be a customer next time I have sun burn. Just kidding!
Thanks for the info!
Does anyone know if the CA water restrictions will have any effect on us? Are they limiting how much groundwater they can pump?
Anyone think LVVV will repurchase shares to drum up investors confidence?
Can anyone just schedule a visit? I travel quite frequently for work and was actually just in that county about a month ago. I'm usually in that area a few times a year. I'll request to get central CA work and my company will probably send me if I'm not too busy up here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest if no one else lives close by. Unfortunately I have no idea when our next site will come in that area.
Woot what a day! Thank you BMEL for your DD. I'm back in the green again with no exit plan. Thinking of only selling 10% if we get in the .20's that way I'll have doubled my investment. The other 90% I'm diamond hands until sp hits dollars or I'm willing the shares to my grandkids if I have any.
Thanks for all the DD peeps! I might be a thousandsaire soon! Best part is the hospital my son was born at expects me to pay bills. Thankfully right before I was about to make the online payment I saw BMels post about license news. Hospital payment now going into LVVV at 6:30 am tomorrow if the sp doesn't skyrocket premarket.
Thanks for the links. Maybe there's a one in trillion chance the sp will rocket from hype after license and get into dollar range.
Nice. I'm usually involved in wetlands and endangered species. I don't think it was you complaining. Anyways I was just joking because I know everyone hates dealing with all the red tape expect the big boys since it helps keep the smaller competition out.
Hey hey lets not knock unnecessary government bureaucracy some of us make a meager living helping companies navigate it. Lol. I myself am in the environmental field and help companies through it in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Have only had to deal with CA fish and game a few times and I do recall them taking forever pre Pandemic.
Anyone know when is the deadline for LVV getting plants in ground in time to harvest in October?
I know I'm small fish but I'm approaching 100k shares at .012 average. However, I'm starting to think that their not going to get their license. Atleast not in time for this year's harvest. So now I'm hoping for next year but my faith is quickly running out.
Thank you for the update.
No I appreciate it. I fell for it too but only to a tune of few thousand shares bought at .0022. But you saved me from buying more. Now I'll just wait around and see what happens. If the sp flys then I'll make a few bucks if it falls to oblivion then I'm only out a few dollars.
Appreciate all your posts. Thank you for doing the propper DD and sharing it with the rest of us.
Really Biden?? Well this doesn't bode well for pro federal legislation with cannabis does it?
https://news.yahoo.com/white-house-asks-several-staffers-133538606.html
‘It’s exclusively targeting younger staff and staff who came from states where it was legal’
No. I asked how long it takes after an inspection was done. He responded that he couldn't comment on a specific case and just explained how the process works and that it typically takes 90 days after an application was submitted.
Thanks. So if LVVV is 100% compliant, the guy from CDFA is accurate, and they filed in mid December then perhaps either the week of 3-15 or 3-22 imo.
Ok so I just called the CDFA CAL cannabis cultivating license department. (1-833-225-4769) The gentleman told me that he couldn't comment on a specific case. But he said the process usually takes 90 days. The first part includes the administration and business side review. Then they go into the environmental review which I'm assuming the inspection is for.
IFFFFF everything was done in compliance with all the state regulations then they should receive their license around 90 days from when the application was submitted. Anyone know when LVVV submitted the application for getting their cultivator license?
I just tried calling and got a message saying they were closed for their lunch hour. So I'm assuming there's like 3 employees there then. Will try again after 1.
Another state down!
https://www.politico.com/news/2021/02/27/virginia-legalizes-marijuana-471840
Virginia is the 16th U.S. state to pass an adult-use marijuana legalization law, though sales would not start until 2024.
Lol yep. I guesee I should change it to only 10% recklessly.
Thanks! Yeah most of my portfolio is in S&P 500. I only took 10% to the OTC for much riskier plays. The only thing that will get hurt if they lose is my ego.
I feel so poor watching everyone buy 100,000 plus shares :( I added a whopping 10k today. Basically since my wife is 8 months along she made me quit buying beer until that baby is born. So I'm using my beer money to buy stocks instead! It's not much but I'm not planning on selling anytime soon either.
Well, I was happily enjoying a beer the other week when my pregnant wife gave me a death glare. So now I've been forbidden to drink until she can. So I decided to take my beer money for the month and buy some USMJ shares. I'm hoping that if this investment pays off, I'll finally be able to afford to buy a 30 pack of the champagne of beer.
Hypothetical question here. But lets say some dumb ape is invested in at 0.017, should it wait to see if it drops below that number to buy the dip or buy it now even though it will put their average slightly higher?
Also, for the longs out there, do you have a price point where you are planning on selling. Will this stock ever have the chance to make it to the dollar level?
I hope! My biggest regret is that I only bought 450 shares of ABML when it was at .10. So I semi rectified that with this stock.
I had a dream last night that people got this stock ticker mistaken for another much larger corporation. Because of this shares shot up to over $400 just long enough for me to sell. But then my wife divorced me because I spent all the millions I made on buying warehouses so I could horde a 30 years supply of DiGiorno frozen pizzas.
Anyways, think we'll be able to rebound back to over .03 by Friday close?
Finally! Thank you! I will will these shares to my grandchildren. Diamond hands all the way!
I only understand Rocket, bear, and diamond hand emojis when it comes to investing. So is this stock bears, rockets, or diamond hands?
I am brand new on LVVV just bought 25k shares on Monday because I saw someone post about it on a Facebook group. I usually do a ton of DD before I buy shares but I decided to just have fun with this one and hop on the train blindly. I just hope that with this investment, I will be able to go from eating tostinos frozen pizzas to a much more classy and superior brand like Jacks and Tombstone.
