My take is that it is bad news. Hopefully they are looking to expand operations instead of running out of metal on existing gold veins.
It would have been nice to earn some Northern stock through a complete sell-off. These guys missed the huge opportunity of a lifetime in their own industry. I would like them to sell the remaining assets and Northern shares to ARK and let Cathie Wood invest for us. The lack of information from this group is probably not a good sign. I wonder if they bought a boatload of bitcoin for 60K?
Gold prices are at historic highs now, so is silver although both metals have been higher. Precious metals have always been manipulated, it is very hard to predict their price. Most predictions in October last year had prices for gold being north of $2300 by now. I still believe a buyout by a larger company with deep pockets would provide enough resources to overcome their issues. They would probably have to bundle other companies because Winston is too small.

I can't find any information about the meeting yesterday. Was anyone on the call?
The play may be to bundle a few junior miners together for a buyout. That would be the smart move, especially now when permitting is getting more difficult, counties in financial instability and a new gold rush in Canada.
I agree with you 100%. At some point I believe things will get really tough. Gold and silver will be a great hedge and investment and certain mining stocks will even be better, one that I'm betting on is Winston Gold.
No, they would not delay because of gold price. If price per gold was the concern then they could stockpile gold and sell in the future. I'm sure they would love to have gold in hand right now. The project is long term and nobody can predict the price of gold. After the 2008 financial crisis and housing crash there was wild speculation on the price of gold, estimates as high as $100,000 per ounce. Never came close to gold bug predictions, in 2011 price spiked, but still less than $2,000 per ounce, then in 2015 close to $1,000.00 per ounce. Gold and silver have always been extremely volatile. Winston Gold would have been in much better shape financially if they had started earlier. Remember that one of their selling points is low cost production.
I don't believe that to be the reason, the delays are costly. I am wondering at what point they will need to raise more money. The next major institutional investor will probably get a deal that will have significant repercussions on existing shares outstanding. If you were to invest a million dollars in this at this point, what pps and warrants would you agree to? Haven't seen too many YouTube promotion videos lately, hope the project continues with some positive news.
Not sure what these guys were doing. I should have been vocal last year and advised them on all forums, but I thought they understood what was happening in their industry. I was hoping for fractional shares of Northern, now hoping that their latest new hire is smarter with a little of business savvy.
Large volume for Winston, where did the sell-off come from?
Any news? Are investors like Palisades Gold Corp. promoting the project recently?
Markets are getting crazy, the dollar in getting weaker, crypto's are becoming questionable, many stocks are in a bubble, inflation rising. Precious metals and metal miners may be the next play. Pokemon cards are in demand. Who knows what will happen next.
Should be interesting times, hopefully crypto, dollar, stock, and bonds flood into metals and metal miners.
That is why I was hoping for a smaller percentage of Northern shares. The whole company should have been sold. How is it possible that a deal could be structured like this? This group of people must have been playing office and drinking coffee.
Hopefully they will purchase parts to keep in stock for the next maintenance issue. Jeez, thought they would have considered that before. It's almost like a built in excuse.
Does anyone have any recent news? Winston doesn't seem to be promoting itself as much these days. Maybe a buyout would be the best news, a larger junior with cash.
The four million sounds like an individual household savings and stocks accounts, not a public corporation. What is the outstanding debt? Any earnings? And almost a two year wait to exercise Northern stock-probably a good thing. Sixty six web site still looks like it was developed by a third-grader.
Looks like investors are losing confidence. Does anyone know of any positive news?
Crypto is good mmmmm K.
Coming close to the 30 day mark.
You mean 4 cents?
I wonder if it is the other way trying to get out little by little. These guys should have crushed it, being involved in an industry that had two separate areas of historic bull runs! Someone should tell them about Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, XRP etc. etc. What a bunch of donkeys!
A pocket change bet. Would like to see serious investors purchase at least 50K.
Haven't seen any YouTube vids lately. Are there any podcasts or updated info from the company?
Has anyone heard anything? Any financials?
Gold over 1800 silver climbing! Lets go Winston!
I should have been advising these guys how to run their business!
Or my last post, Ethereum over 3400!
Hopefully these guys saw my last post, Ethereum going crazy in the last couple of days! Everyone is getting rich!
Ethereum exploding this weekend, took some great profits this morning! Hopefully these guys are investing in the greatest opportunity in world history! This is truly unbelievable!
Why did the President of Winston Gold resign?
Think about those investors that tied-up their money pouring millions into this, with 9-12 cent warrants and investing in other mining companies, missing the greatest opportunity in a lifetime over the last 5 months. Could have picked any of the top 6 crypto's and dozens of others. Those were the gold donkey bugs!
I am hoping that these guys were able to invest some of their assets in crypto currencies in the last few months and killed it like everyone else. Better than mining, all you need is one old cheap computer with a slow processor, slow graphics card and dial-up connection! Don't believe these guys are that savvy, or even follow the lead of Elon Musk in the last couple of months.
Production delayed, support in the 8's, maybe 7's or 6's shortly. Will buy in the 8's on down.
As usual they don't reply. I hope that they will sell their shell company to Northern also. Maybe Northern can find them jobs as janitors or something.
Wonder if these guys are mining, how much space they have or even if they have any computers? Why aren't they releasing information about the post sale status?
Must not be any good news, otherwise......
My sale order timed out, very tiny volume, although someone was lucky enough to sell at .18!
