A few more checked in today. Total now at 30 and over 17%.
I am afraid that won't happen until Lancer has to be out sometime between now and July.
Hank,
Actually its even more now. Up to 16% and still a few to report.

OT: Maybe use the opportunity to pay Castro a visit? It would be a great staging ground for a move into Venezuela. Homestead AFB is all ready to be reopened!
OT: That Fox on those commercials gives me the creeps. Its like The King on the Burger King commercials. Just plain weird.
APPY: Someone recommended I take a look at this one. I figured I would check with the experts first to see if anyone had any knowledge of them. I am clueless when it comes to bio. They have an appendicitis test that they are currently trying to get FDA approval for this year. Apparently it really cuts the cost of trying to find out if someone with abdominal pain needs an appendicitis or not. Supposedly the test is very accurate. May be a buyout target.
OT: I agree. Switched to Fox as soon as it was on Directv.
SPTN: These guys carry our products and do a real nice job.
OT: Stimulus Package Glad they voted it down. I hate it when they start with a decent idea and ruin it with some mant add on's. Its no wonder they spend so much money.
UVE: Lancer was dumping all day today. I hope he is about out of shares.
Your friends told you that they could here a pin drop in some neighborhoods. Well, ask your friends which ones they are talking about. I want to verify the information, for myself but based on what you posted, its no more than a rumor. The structures are already there and have to be insured no matter who owns them. As long as UVE keeps their rates competitive then they should keep the business and hopefully gain some new policies on transitioning homes. Heck, maybe even UVE picked up some "bulk rate" accounts.
The banks still keep the houses insured so your theory doesn't really play out. We have high foreclosures but that description is slightly inflated. get the names of the neighborhoods and I will be more than willing to check it out for you.
Hank: That is very interesting. You are so right because look what a pain in the ass it is for Lancer to get out. Anykind of substantial position and it takes months to get out. I can't wait until Steinberg is done selling those Lancer shares.
MSGI: Why the hell would anybody drop you just because you went to cash. This makes no sense to me.
Really glad that I doubled down at 4.68. I only wish I had at 3.93 as well.
UVE: Explains buying at end of day on Friday.
MSGI: I think that area on the SW Coast of FL have been hit exceptionally hard. There are no jobs there to support those prices. So anyone buying a house in that area is either a speculator or a retiree.
Jupiter, FL 17 miles north of West Palm. I've lived here my whole life and have seen the housing market do this several times.
Housing: In my area, I am pretty sure that most of the housing has bottomed. With the exception of the condo market it seems that prices have moved basically sideways for the last few months at about a 25% discount from the top.
I will add one from my sport. Byron Nelson won 11 consecutive golf tournaments on the PGA tour in the fourties.
Sorry Rogue, I hate to dissappoint you but things are not that bad. Yes, housing prices are pulling back to reasonable levels but those of us that grew up here are used to the fluctuations. If they would go to a straight sales tax and do away with the high property taxes then that would provide immediate relief. That's not going to happen so you just grin and bear it. We learn from our mistakes and quite a few Floridians are learning that you can't just get rich quick without consequences. Hard work, integrity, and patience will get us through whatever problems we encounter. Good luck to you but my glass is half full. Besides, why is it that everybody is always trying to "bait you".
Who originally brought the 911 stuff to this board. No matter if its in a direct post or in a quote that you put in the end of every post, its still there. If you hadn't put it in your posts to begin with then no one would even know your stance. Just stating the obvious.
Isn't there a board for this type of thing. Hard to believe that it belongs here. Just my drive by opinion.
"There is more than one billion tons of biomass that can be converted into fuel annually in the U.S. alone. Using the Coskata process, each of these tons can be converted into over 100 gallons of low-cost ethanol."
From their webpage. Thats a pretty good amount. I don't know, its sounds too good to be true but I hope it is.
AYSI: I went to the Yahoo board this morning for some info and all I got was some laughs. Too funny. It is exactly like the UVE board. Whats with people over there ripping off names of VMC guys and then bashing stocks. I saw "len" over there ripping on AYSI. Bobwins_o_phile was a great one on UVE. This place is like paradise compared to the rubbish yahoo spits out on their boards. TFN
Seeks: No problem. We are all at fault for not catching that.(except KIK) The governors attempts have failed and he is going to have to retry or let the market play itself out. I hope its the latter because in the long run us FL residents will be better off.
UVE: What a dumbass I am. I was wondering why I hadn't heard a peep about this. Its right there plain as day in the beginning. oh well, I guess that's why the gov is so pissed. That piece of legislation hasn't changed a damn thing. It goes to show you that the government should not mess with matters of capitalism. Kicking myself and out. TFN
UVE: could go either way. You could see the big guys continue to pull out as the guy in the article stated. That would allow UVE to gain more market share despite the fact that they will make less per policy. Who knows but this will take a while to play out.
ACBT: I picked up a few shares last week. I think there is great potential here. Good to see them finally catch up.
UVE: Doubled my postition yesterday at 4.68. I still stick to the fact that once Lancer is out this will get back to a legitimate price. Its amazing how one guy can basically slash the price of a stock in half. I believe he has to be out by July.
Trade Deficit: I disagree a little. the benefit is that some companies are bringing manufacturing back to the US. I also read an article the other day (I will try to find it) where European companies are moving more facilities to the US. Just my observations.
I tried to buy a big chunk the other day at .21 and Scottrade told me I had call it in. (I hate that so much) It was afterhours and I was like screw it. Looks like I should have called it in. Idiot!
CKGT: Is it me or is it very weird to only book sales when your customer sells the product to their customer. Are they selling this stuff on consignment? Are they not getting paid until it goes through the cash register at the store? I have never heard of this but that doesn't mean its not done. I would never sell my products this way. Once the product has arrived at the retailer then it should be theirs and 30-45 days later it should be paid. Weird.
Why are you bashing this stock? I see you are in BSRC. Does that have anything to do with it? What did you mean by the post in the link? http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=25702567
Solar panels are expensive. I wouldn't think that the type of people that buy them are really hurt by a housing slump. Never mind the fact that the majority of solar panels are going to non residential uses right now. Nice try.
LT_Matt: awesome story. I am only 30 and can feel some of your pain. You will make it big with the skills you already posess.
Looks like we got it!
Really taking off now.
SOEN: 1.47 really going now.
