Its a long process to get insurance up and running in other states. I just posted it because I found it. There are those around (mostly on Yahoo board) that call this stock an all out scam. They are mostly manipulating the stock for their benefit but I like to throw facts out there to blow their theories out of the water. If management was just trying to milk this stock for all its worth then why would they waste their time applying to other states. Considering all the money they have made the last 2 years, I doubt they would unless they were serious about growing this company. I will continue to add shares of this stock going forward. At this price, the divi alone, makes it a hell of a deal in my opinion.

Proof of Texas and South Carolina applications. These two states post pending applications. I wasn't able to find that the other states post this info. I will look a little bit more and see what I find. TFN
UVE: That would be awesome. I would personally drive 2 hours north just to thank him and take him out for one of those really expensive steaks you all were talking about.
UVE: Hank that is the way it appears to me. I don't know all of the lawyer speak but from what I can find that is correct. I was very disappointed that more share had not been sold by the year end report. Don't know whats going to happen.
UVE: People have posted on the Yahoo board that Lancer has 5 years to get the best possible money for the creditors. I guess the end of the fifth year is July 08. What happens at that time, I have no clue. It doesn't appear that they will be able to liquidate all of their shares by then. That is at least an indication as to why they have been selling more aggressively the last 6-12 months. I am hoping that the seller the last few days has been Lancer.
MSGI: What is the best way to get rid of gold. I mean if you take it to a jewelry store they give you a minimal amount for it. I was just thinking about this the other day because we had an aunt die. She had a bunch of gaudy gold (like Sopranos gaudy or Ft. Lauderdale gaudy) I sometime soon would be a good time to get rid of the gold. We will keep all the diamonds etc and reset them in updated settings.
MSGI: See the problem is that there are some of us that aren't like that. However, with all of the free gov. handouts its becoming more and more expected. Those of us that work hard and pay our bills as we should get penalized by helping pay off the bills of those that are lazy and spend money before they even get it. This pisses me off more than anything else that I see day in and day out. I for one and tired of having to make up for idiots.
This thing moves on air.
UHCR: I agree that its an interesting play but the uncertainty combined with the fact that I will be in meetings most of next week is why I ended up selling. I may jump back in toward the end of next week.
UHCR: Sold out this afternoon. I didn't like the way that .075 trend line was broken intraday. I also didn't think that it moved yesterday as much as it should have given that the float is supposed to be only 9 million. Makes me wonder.
Someone has been buying for the last two weeks. Big chunks showing up at the end of the day. Almost 300000 shares from my calculation if its the same person. If not then we have several instituions nibbling.
About to turn back up?
This is a poster from Yahoo that seems to agree with you:
for some reason i can't say something on i-hub, but i have been following i-hub since years
i am belgium so sorry for my english
well , in accordance to me, after the share buyback, we have the whole float in our hands , i am certain, everyone who announced how much shares they had , i accounted for , i came to 3million, without majordamage, real titan and penny ta
so you catch my drift , that if the share price doesn't react in accordance to what we want the price to be, we can call in our certificats to prove this
if you think that is a good topic for discussion, feel free to post on i-hub on behalf off me
thanks hugo from belgium
ok. good luck. see ya.
UHCR: Good Call on this one skidos. I hope this continues to play out. I was in PAIV and got bored. I sold like 2 days before the big run started.
First time poster on this board. I jumped in this on Monday at .067 with 20000 shares. Skidos mentioned it on the VMC Zip Code Changers board. Have you all had everyone post the number of shares they own? It seems like between ihub and yahoo the float is owned a couple times over. Several of you have many, many shares. If you haven't then start a list by copy and paste.
TFN 20000 Shares
Wade: I would hope that someone would take a portion of ones earnings each year and put it in much safer investments. I guess it depends on the situation. If the initial money is simply play money and not all of ones funds then your hypothesis could easily play out. (Although, 60 percent seems really reckless) If someone is investing all they have then they should take some of the winnings from the good years and set it aside for the lean years. I, personally, would have taken out whatever I made any given year and set it aside for retirement. Once you reach a certain goal, whatever that may be, you can start adding to the amount you play with. This way you never leave yourself in the situation of losing everything. Of course I am fairly young (31) so I look at it a little differently then other investors. For one, I have less money then I will when I'm older an d because of this I will risk less. Either that or cut my losses sooner. I just consider myself lucky that I have been provided the opportunity to both invest in the markets and learn about the markets at the same time. In the long run, we should (assuming your not a total idiot) all be up.
memorial: I didn't know him either but with that kind of following he must have known his stuff. Life is short so appreciate each and every day as if its your last. Nice way to honor him Len.
UHCR: I picked up 20000 at .067.
UHCR: did you get any of this skidos?
OT: Anonymous internet posting illegal? This would tame down the Yahoo finance boards big time.
http://www.wtvq.com/content/midatlantic/tvq/video.apx.-content-articles-TVQ-2008-03-05-0011.html
Len: I suspect the same. Mob ties? Maybe it was club Bada Bing that was the drain on the overall profits.
OT:Spitzer
The real question is how this escort service only made a million bucks in four years. The name of the company was Emperor's Club and they rated their girls based on diamonds. A seven diamond girl was the highest rated and went for $31,000 a day or $3,100 and hour. The lowest rated girl was still $10,000 a day and $1,000 and hour. So based on that cost structure I would say that they needed new management anyways. This is probably the best thing that could have happened to them. They can clean house and get their margins up now.
bbotcs: Yes they are going to have to streamline big time. I'm not too concerned with the drilling because the chance of something happening now is risk we are going to have to take. Drill in Anwar and the Gulf as far as I'm concerned. I have confidence that we could get it done just like we got the A-bomb done.
bbotcs: Manhattan style project for Nuclear is spot on but we need the government to ease all the regulations. (Hell, they could build it in my backyard if it was big enough.) There are so many roadblocks right now that it is hard to get anything done.
MSGI: I didn't happen to notice but I would have to guess that they did. Actually the bank probably pulled out. I will check it out in two weeks when I go back. Wal-mart is going to be putting these in many of their stores. They are also adding walk in clinics that they will run. They have had clinics run by third parties but these will be different. I know the new store in Lauderdale Lakes is getting one.
FCFS: Walmart has started opening their own financial centers in the Orlando area stores. Yesterday, in store 942 (Ocoee) the line was very long. They are putting these in the center of the store between the checkouts where the book section used to be.
OT: Hank, great post. Amen brother.
RBCL: Zen here is a website that has the two products for sale. You have to scroll down to the RadiaPlex and the Regenecare. Expensive stuff. I don't think this will ever sell in a grocery store unless they get doctors to push it. I could be way off.
https://www.suprememedical.com/pc-74-13-wound-gels.aspx
RBCL: Wade, what do the two products retail for(sell for)? If I had to guess, I would say the movement will be about 1-2 units per month per store. That is without any marketing. Of course, there are many variables. (Location in department, packaging, price, competition, implementation of rollout to new stores, slotting fees etc) I would not expect too much from this. I do not own this nor plan on buying any.
OT: Inflation. What kind of beer are you drinking? That's sounds much higher then around here. I will check out the prices tomorrow when I'm working.
OT:401K We offer a company match of 100% up to 5% or your salary. Great deal no matter how you look at it. In my opinion most people should have both a 401k and a separate account for the "riskier" investments. That is if they are offered a 401K.
Shmolton: My mother in law left for Egypt last week because her aunt was sick. (She is Greek but her aunt married an Egyptian)Anyways they don't really have nursing homes so you are either stuck in a hospital or released to home care. My mother in law said the conditions in the hospital were the worst she had ever seen. Disgusting. Matter of fact, she was in the process of looking around to see if there was anything better but then she died yesterday. She was like 90 so it was her time. The thing is that this woman is loaded so you know that she is getting the best care. Everyone over there works with their hands out. (I guess its better than here, where everyone doesn't work with their hands out) Anyway, the point of my story is that the healthcare in Cairo obviously could use some help and maybe your stock is taking advantage. TFN
The thing is with State Farm, their rates are so ridiculous for some of us that they would have to cut 50% just to be in the ballgame. Even then they would get beat by the likes of UVE, St. Johns, 21st century and Citizens.
bbotcs: I would also disagree. I don't think they are thieves. If anyone is a thief in this, its the government. I think they get a bad rap because the media and politicians like to go after them. Its one of those targets like big oil, big tobacco, medicine etc.... If they can tear us down one industry at a time they will. Ultimate goal in my opinion is socialism.
Now saying that about insurance, I would also make the point that I fall in the category of insurance skeptical. My personality is one of taking on the risk. Obviously each case is different but most of the time I will be able to sleep at night whether I have insurance or not. Obviously I have insurance but I don't consider it a necessity. If I have the choice of paying 16 grand a year for my homeowners or taking on the risk myself, I will opt for the risk. Especially when considering the deductible and coverage etc....When the insurance was 4-5 grand then that was a different story.
bbotcs: It seems as if the states are going after the big companies much more than the little ones. Although they didn't lower their rates when they were supposed to and companies like UVE did. (11%)
UVE: Institutional Ownership has taken hold the past few months. http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/Holdings.asp?mode=&kind=&timeframe=&intraday=&charttype=&splits=&earnings=&movingaverage=&lowerstudy=&comparison=&index=&symbol=UVE&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&symbol=&FormType=&mkttype=&pathname=&page=holdingssummary&selected=UVE
Here is also an article on State Farm from this week. Big guys are still dropping policies.

Here is another one from this week on State Farm.
OT: BOCA RATON Growing up down here, Boca has long had a reputation of being the area in South Florida with the worst residents. I hate Boca myself. Nothing but a bunch of stuck up Yankees. Then again that is pretty much what the whole state has become. Now that being said, I have no idea why scam artists would chose Boca over anywhere else down here. They choose the state because you can keep you home even if you lose everything. So these criminals put everthing they have into a huge home because it can never be taken, even if they go to jail.
next month. The year end results have always taken a month longer. Don't know why but thats the way it is.
