I too was surprised by the (IMO) extreme overshoot to the downside. Hard to tell though when Trevali will rebound given current environment.
No executive "incentive" or bonus shares until there's a profit! They keep blowing shares out their ass to stay afloat with no end in sight. My biggest regret is not getting completely out last run-up. Looks like the ATM is running full-bore and shares shorted like there's no tomorrow. Sad!
Not impressed. Bigger loss (~20% went to executive incentive plan payoffs) and still relying on the ATM to stay afloat. Same ole story.
Yeah, just another disappointing quarter based on their "select" highlights. No recoupment from Russian distributor, disruption of FPP revenues in California, recent registration to sell additional equity (seems that's the only way they can keep their cash position stable), and not really the sales figures one would hope for if they are ever to attain breakeven. And they will be voting on additional shares for the mgt incentive plan...again. Same ole stuff!
Chart here is totally out of date and essentially useless. Why make these useless posts instead of getting a fix done on the charts?
Just bothers me that they threw everything together AH and really crimped the time to absorb before the CC. Typical CPST management style and hard to stay positive when we will be facing their anticipated dilution. IMO the stock will tank tomorrow. Once again feeling like I should have sold all on the pump 'cause here comes the dump. We shall see.
AH trading tells the tale. Shelf registration, H.C. Wainwright ATM deal of up to $25 million, and bonus plan for DJ. What else is new. These guys just can't seem to get off the share offering/bonus gravy train. Better results perhaps but still lost $10+ million for the fiscal year. I was leery of the AH earnings release and guess that was warranted given all the other stuff they released AH.
From today's action looking like the numbers are already out...CPST has always been a bit "leaky"...LOL. Waiting to see numbers for backlog/orders and the management discussion. Beginning to believe them after all this time and hoping that continues!
Chance of short squeeze=chance of audits=chance of F10=chance of Mother Goose=chance of Myflix launch=zero. Only thing you can bank on with these guys is that there will be more lawsuits.
Chart here for ROYL not working, probably since delisted from NASDAQ. Big move with decent (3X average) volume today. Recent news has been good.
Nice! Steady stream of orders and recent run have done the trick...at least for now. Can't wait to see what happens when Cappy turns it's 1st profit!
Looking like dead money here until news of a sale or JV. If a JV at Springpole, then question is what % and does First Mining get a carried interest? Don't really see FF funding to 1st production via equity. We shall see.
Yep, the infamous audit that's been eluding HHSE from the beginning. Remember the 1st excuses once they paid 300+ million shares for a shell that then couldn't (or wouldn't) provide documentation for an initial audit? Nothing but excuses since then, so it is painfully obvious that there is no intention, and never has been, to provide financial audits for this POS operation. Lifestyle stock if ever there was one!
Another order announced for 1mw CHP. https://www.capstoneturbine.com/news/press-releases/detail/3606/capstone-secures-1-mw-chp-order-for-a-large-chemical
But of course! What amazes me the most is that anyone is still willing to do any sort of business with HHSE. Wow, talk about a total lack of DD!
Wouldn't surprise at all! Just a guess how they managed another trip to Cannes???
Check bounced??? Time for Cannes after all!
"From what I hear, False Prophets sell tomatoes before each HHSE screening and has become a tradition." Lol...now that's actually something I can believe! Thanks for the info. Still digging, and they really could make the process easier!
Ok, maybe someone else can find listings for HHSE/Medallion showings at Cannes 2018. I didn't see any. https://www.festival-cannes.com/en/infos-communiques/communique/articles/the-screenings-guide-2018
Who knows, maybe they got the $ to attend by ripping off some other suckers dumb enough to do business with them. Some folks never learn!
Everything's always "soon" with EP and HHSE. Reduced to a blog and constant b/s to what end...oh, I know...one more trip to Cannes if they can bilk enough suckers one more time. As long as the shyster EP gets to go play out his media-mogul fantasy this farce will continue.
Just having a hard time seeing reasons for this weakness other than renewed shorting and/or equity raises. I never seem to learn that with CPST just when things get looking good it manages to fall off a cliff. I mean, with the really nice order pr'ed yesterday you'd think there'd be some solid support???
Nice new O&G for 4 C1000s under the new bundled solutions program. https://www.capstoneturbine.com/news/press-releases/detail/3600/capstone-secures-large-4-mw-oil-and-gas-order-under-new
Recent price action seems to suggest renewed shorting and/or equity raises, neither of which would surprise me. Messed up not selling somewhere near recent top. Oh well, win a few lose a few.
If your order was for AON it might not go through. Good idea though since "they" can ding you with partials. It appears you are trying to buy at "bid", which can also be problematic unless someone is dumping, and even then there may be orders ahead of yours. If you put in an order at the ask you'd probably get filled, but the spread is too large at present...that's how the day traders/scalpers/etc make their lunch money. Maybe up your bid a bit and see what happens? All dicey in pinkieland!
Volume doesn't support any claim to interest in this stock. Maybe a few scalpers trying to earn lunch money off the spread but nothing more. Same old story for years. Nothing verifiable except constant failures by management to complete stated objectives. Another trip to Cannes...whoopee do! Same here with the sp above a penny. Amazing (to say the least) since that was all based on merger hype and we all know how that turned out!
HHSE needs no outside efforts to suppress their stock price. They have done a great job of that all by themselves! No shorting outside normal MM activity. Would anyone think that the sp wouldn't take care of itself if there was actually anything there to support it? Yet another year's pre-Cannes hype so that maybe some few remaining suckers will front the $ needed for their annual wannabe vacation? Who knows, but history of these guys is to rip off anyone and everyone. Too bad they haven't been forced into bk or put in jail! Ah, but its pinkieland...that explains it!
Yes, possession is important to me too. But, everything requires a bit of faith. Put money in a financial institution and have faith that you can get it back when needed. Buy bonds and have faith that the interest and principal will be paid. Buy stocks through a brokerage and have faith that you will be able to cash out when you want to. Just saying that some sort of backed (gold or otherwise) medium of exchange would be preferable to what we have now, which is carte blanche running the printing presses for central banks. Whatever happens, IMO the current system cannot continue indefinitely, and sooner rather than later most likely.
Just getting started, but an interesting approach to digitizing gold. Way in the future perhaps something like this could support a truly global monetary system? Dream on, eh! http://www.kitco.com/news/2018-04-25/Gold-Miners-Betting-On-Digital-Gold-Market-As-Tradewind-Raises-10-6-Million.html
Yeah, the boys just said forget any of the b/s they've been blogging about forever (audits, etc) since its again time for Cannes, where they can play out their media-mogul-wannabe fantasies yet again.
Great news for ROYL this morning! Looks like they will be able to move forward with development of their multiple assets and also better financials. (Please note the chart here is not functioning. Current sp is $.43 as I write this, up 13.16%.)
Its been all downhill since the GDXJ reshuffle. FF has no revenues, high G&A, and refocus to potential production w/o the cash, and a high share count, that limits available funding. May need an r/s if this keeps up. Not impressed at this point and will consider cutting losses unless there's some exceptional development soon. Pretty sad actually given the potential exhibited a couple years ago.
Once again, its hard to believe the events in Syria and potential sanctions can explain today's price action for CPST. If I remember right we've seen a huge drop like this before prior to an official announcement of an offering way below recent sp. I remember when the sp topped $2+ and they announced an offering at, what, $1.70? Anyway, given past history, I have a hard time trusting CPST management not to "blow it" for shareholders despite recent progress toward profitability. Still aware that over time CPST has been shorter friendly!
Remember they made a big deal about getting distributors to add more qualified sales people and ramp up efforts to promote the product? Anyway, this latest seems to be part of that effort. Agree though that we need to see a continuation of efforts to constrain costs and get to that elusive profit!
Their primary objective is to go to Cannes each year so they can live their wannabe media mogul fantasy. This is nothing but a lifestyle stock/company and will likely never be anything more IMO. Buyer beware!
Any chance some of this gain is pending 4th Qtr results? Maybe for 1st time ever a small profit?
Just guessing, but maybe regaining compliance has brought in some institutional buying that was on the sidelines? Also, the jump would put a real scare into short positions, so maybe covering adding to the fire? Lots happening here and gotta say for once I'm loving it!
Regaining Nasdaq compliance helps, but hardly seems enough to justify today's price action. As is so often the case, if there's some "big" news we'll be the last to know!
More news. Great ad for reliability and benefits of microgrids. https://www.capstoneturbine.com/news/press-releases/detail/3592/capstone-microturbine-system-successfully-supportednefits.
I was thinking that the emissions aspect with the diesel generators could be key. Also, as you said, less maintenance costs. In any event, these types of projects could be huge for CPST.
