14 million in volume, half hour into the close....
After today, you can afford to buy 3 seats,so as to have no idiot at your elbow...
Hit .082 on just under 12 mil in volume...wow,this may fill the gap by close...
Same here-just able to get on L2- WHO LIT THE AFTERBURNERS ON THIS?-5 million traded before noon...good job,guys..
I know,it's Preferred-BUT only 4 mil issued,$50 face. Gues I am kinda a collector for Lehman issues lol
"My quest to leverage all the mining acerage in North America"-would be a great siggy-suprised Doubloon, our fearless asst. mod hasn't used it.
I was able to pick up 19 k of the D's this AM-offered .25,they actually filled me at .22.
ummmm...NITE?
Still here, waiting patiently.Patience is the hardest thing for any penny player to learn, imho
I noticed that-debt with NO interest-so it goes;some ashol will surely come along and find fault with the setup...ummm,any ideas who just might do that?/lol
ABWTQ is gonna use Lunch as a bargaining chip? Why didn't we think of that months ago.....
Europe is as broke and in debt as the US-like I have been saying, placing assets in hard commodities, especially metals,is my long term strategy.WOLV is a great place to be,especially if you take the long view of things.
LEHCQ has been a collectors item -hard to find shares at a reasonable price-Zecco wants .25 per share sez this blasted computer..
Ever been to Greece? Even when things are up and running, most folks in contact with tourists are on a semi-strike..
Nice day here, ladies and gents-glad to see so much interest picking up here.
Make no mistakes. Our lawyers are in a knife fight with the Canadian government, and the province of Labrador in particular-they try and hit us with millions in environmental cleanup, our NAFTA pricetag jumps up,the 800 pound gorilla is meanwhile sitting in the corner with no job and looking for his mamafupkin pension check..this is better than television. The Canadian government is really pissed at the US because we beat their red and white stripped asses in hocky, imho.
That is one big- assed hole. I'm in for 75k shares-this may run like hell with the anticipated assay results. Nice location, too.
This is more posturing to get the Canadian govt to step up to the plate and help cover the pension deficits. They do that, this NAFTA suit goes away,or becomes a very small side issue, imho.BTW,I hope Lunch stays around...
I love tight bollies...
500 mil for 8 BILLION in 'distressed assets" that are expected to rise in value in the future-doesn't sound like Lehman's is gonna go Chapter 7,but will come back as a money-making,heart-breaking deal doing company-and we all have a piece of it.
Been hearing "Got Parlay" all over the IHUB universe-took Faust357(MS_DOS ver. 1.0) a couple of weeks to put it together-great board, lotsa familiar faces....now,to bring some MEAT to the table..
I would imagine sooner than later. The MOR showed over a million dollars going out the door for restructuring/legal fees.
Filled 150k and change, but it was broken up and took forever-I never saw my ask reflected on l-2,but I have Microturd....
Have a buy order in for 170k at .054-they won't touch it....
MESAQ is on fire-new MOR,no DIP financing, shedding planeloads of debt.....
India is the "world's largest democracy",and one helluva consumer market-is anyone else poised to enter India's sattelite radio business?
I lost my trust in the US dollar when the national debt broke 10 TRILLION dollars-companies with valuable stuff in the ground like WOLV seem the logical place to park my ever-depreciating dollar.WOLV has copper,an essential metal to almost every industry one can name.IMHO,to be in this one is to be at the right place at the right time...
K's are up on small volume, but getting good bid support-haven't seen that for awhile...hopefully the J's will continue to move and approach something resembling fair value...
Great first post-go back, change your screen name again,go bash somewhere else.I dont know-maybe "chitball" suits you...
Right on point. The big gold producers sold futures contracts out the wazoo when gold broke $800/oz. That is why they haven't moved as much as one would expect with the current price of gold. NBRI has no such future obligations..
Sounds like a good business decision to me-NBRI gets paid regardless of what happens. This deal is consistant with Mr Leupould's business model-plan your work, then work your plan.
Sorry to stray off topic. As a point of information,WOLV is in Canada, and has nothing to do with United States export policies, military concerns,or Chinese/US economic differences. It IS in North America,in one of the world's most stable democracies.
Got to admit,it is smart politics-takes the onus of responsibility off of the provincial Labradorian government, and puts it into the lap of the central Canadian perps.
I believe this latest "environmental" issue has been brought up by the Labradorian government to cloud the waters concerning the $300 mil they are on the hook for the NAFTA snafu-if ABWTQ said to drop the cleanup costs and we will drop the NAFTA action, the Canadian government would be on that in a flash. Smoke and mirrors,IMHO.That point being made,I DO believe the Canadian government will do whatever it takes to get ABWTQ back on its feet again,if for nothing other than dodging the pension liabilities.
Short a ten cent stock-what genius-Mama should make you go play outside....
I came late to this party-only holding 25k shares-but I like what I am reading. This should come out as a well financed investor in distressed properties, unless I got it all wrong.
Doesn't help much that the Chinese have 2 TRILLION dollars in T-Bills to trot the globe and buy up stuff.
I agree, they are a dictatorship, but are much more aggressive on an international level than the US.Didn't mean to step on any toes.
My luck,I'd buy 10,000 acres, and the lovely Mrs Faust would kick me out and tell me to go live there....
Yeah, the Chinese have basically stopped exporting natural resources-but they have plenty of virtually free labor to put into finished goods....wish we had the political will to fight for our economy as much as they do..
