Mean I hope your right because I bought shares today unwittingly only to see a price decline. I've learned a trying lesson. I guess from what I'm reading now it was expected. A blunder on my part. On top of it I guess I won't get the dividend. The thing that perturbs me with the company that you can't reach them by phone or e-mail. Investor relations or no one. What is their problem? What if I were a customer? I still couldn't reach anyone! I tried yesterday to get some clarification and it was the same today. They must have everyone on Ignore! Mean if you sold your shares yesterday or today or tomorrow or any time after your good. I broke a rule of mine to not buy in for dividends. It could cost more than what the dividends are paying out if the stock declines. I hope this isn't the case. If it does well I'll buy some more. The only difference in a cash dividend and stock dividend is what the company is distributing thats all. We're suppose to know when the ex-date is if the company stipulates a record date. The trick is read between the lines and if you can't contact anyone at the company sit tight. Try and contact someone tomorrow and you'll see what I mean.
Thanks NoJack it can't be any clearer than that. I know what an ex-div means and its rules.
I was wrong and so was Mean. I guess what is confusing and I need to go back and look again some companies state for example and exemplify the date. One might state for example shareholders of record on a given date will recieve the dividend, and gives a buyer up to the close of that day. In this given situatiion I think it was yesterday by close of market.
Thanks for your time and imput. Your a good source of information. 3 business days prior to the record date not 2. Instead of makesumgravy I spilled the gravy.
Mean, I give up. I know I saw it stated somewhere today ex-dividend. I don't know where I was looking at now. On this particular file form it was broke down, showing how the company is going to pay out the dividend using examples. 2.5 million for techs stock at 5d, 1 mln if goes to 10dollars, and 1/2 mln if it goes to 15d. This will determine how much of a dividend shareholders will recieve. The higher the tech stock is the less dividend will be payed out. Personally its not alot to get excited about. The price will dictate the distribution. 2.5 mln is not even a whole lot. If you can determine how many shares are being held you can estimate what this div is now by how much the tech stock is, 4.60 last I looked or something like that. Distribution date is July 7, I think ?
You got a computer right? Go look up, better yet do a search and ask, what is an ex-dividend. Don't take my word for it! It's not the same as a forward dividend and stipulated date at market close. This is a little different. People selling their shares yesterday instead of buying and buying today instead of selling screwed themselves. I was reading all the stuff on raging bull and most mis-leading. For some reason I can't log in over there even though I'm registered. So I posted over here. You dodn't have to own the stock 6 months ago or it would have been stipulated, some companies do have requirements, it will state shareholders who've held their stock for a year or a certain amount of months or days. In this case it had to be held two days prior to the record date.
Information tid-bit for ex- dividend payout. Anyone who owns the stock 2 days prior to the record date. This being May 1,06. This is the last day investors have to own the stock to recieve the dividend. It is stated as an ex-dividend. Anyone purchasing the stock tomorrow will miss the payout. I don't know what the ratio will be, its an assimption that the shares owned by MRKL is equal to the share price of 1 tech stock. For ex: 150 to 1, but I don't know this for a fact. I can't get a hold of anyone at the company by phone or e-mail.
Add my name too. What is keeping this stock in the cellar? Gold is moving and gold stocks. By the time this stock gains any the gold rush will be over! Someone is making money off these trades. I didn't know these stocks could be sold and bought in the 5 digit range.
The stock has had a nice run and what kicked into 2nd was this oil and gas venture. I took profit today because of this. I tried to get an answer today from the company but no response. I was only holding a small stake. My question was this, how does the company and the shareholders benefit from this? The pr's made it sound like the company is now working for the government. What is happening then with the mining? What is more relevant the mining activities or working for the government? How can the company do both?. Every company involved with mining is getting involved with these type ventures. Every company it seems on the pinks or otc that are involved in gas and oil are taking on gold exploration as well. Its become the dot com era again. Everyday a hundred dot com companies are surfacing. Is there money here to be made? how? if the work is for Bolivia? Its alot to just be involved with mining a whole lot. How many people does FMNJ employee and at their disposal? I need more info first. How much silver and other minerals has the company produce this far?
Thanks, I don't follow Pat Robertson. He has made a fortune already. Oral Roberts, Benny Hihn(who should be investigated). He's a con man. I don't support TV evangelist. I believe some will spend eternity elsewhere. Prosperity is one thing and most of them are way beyond this. Jim and Tammy Baker and Benny Hihn view the world as their Gold Mine, Oral Roberts too.
There are a couple I find interesting. One is Hovine in Florida and the other is in Texas who is young and took over his fathers ministry. He was on Larry King a while back but his name at the moment has past me by.
I honestly don't know what to do with this rainy day stock anymore. I own 15mln shares, 50bln pref shares. To many zeros that my brokers qusip couldn't handle it. 50bln shares worth 0. I can't sell them if I wanted. I'm a broke Kerkorkian. If I had grandchildren maybe I could give these to them. If Paim is still at .0001 in 5 years these will still be the same. God can you imagine looking at this everyday for 5 years before it breaks out to the upside .0002.
This company MRKL is buying a company tech solutions or whatever and they are going to give out divs from this purchased company. They don't comment on the ratio. It may be 1 for a 1000 of Mrkl. It may be 5%. If you look at their past headlines you'll see it. Big Problem with this company, they don't except e-mails for questions and don't answer their phones and its had problems in the past. It's strange because they can't discern a shareholder from a customer. Investor relations is a joke.
I think I would trust a Russian company over the Canadian companies. When things hit the news we're already behind the 8 ball. You never know how far a stock can fall. The smaller pinks and OTC stocks are hard to get out of when sh-- is negative. Ron Canada has some whopping stories about things that have occurred with mining companies in addition to all the other scandals. Don't you see some of the same similarities as in the dot com. days? Everytime you turn around another gold stock, mineral stock, coal company, oil exploration co. (which indicates they don't have anything. Check out BKGD., GEECF to name only 2. If your in Flst after witnessing this be cautious its going south. I am contacting the SEC about what I suspect about this company.
The company in my opinion was attempting first and formost to get people interested. I to believe it was a manipulative move to boost its share price. I also believe after the insider selling was over it was time to mention there was no buyout. To try to cushion the blow or the impact of the stock price that was going up only due to the buyout. It was a pump and now they think they've come up with one better, (Gold). There are so many gold mining companies and others in Canada that are less than honest. (Scams). This company's CEO is full of it. Many people doubted this so called buyout and were correct. I wouldn't bite in to any more of their BS. There never was no buyout and the company who was suppose to buy it is an Obscure company in Florida and private. They came close to reaching their .10 so the insiders got what they wanted for themselves.
Has anyone done the math on this?. I haven't been able to contact anyone at the company. How does all this break down? What is the ratio? Is it one for 150 shares or something along this line? Who can understand their PR.
Thanks
Just like a Canadian company!. I wish now I would have I got out of it, I did this morning minus any gains. I didn't lose any but you can believe I had a few words. This was all BS, a pump and dump to gain some cash for themselves. These pinks, in particular Canadian companies I've learned to distrust. Mining companies, oil and gas are something to be cautious of and this company has now buried itself! Gold mining? Yeh right!
Belgium its been a long time since I was in your country. When I was in the army I was stationed near Teveran Germany. Near the Holland border. Your country is beautiful.some of the Belgium army would stay some weekends at our base the 85th artillery det. (Nuclear site). I guess still do. I love your people and enjoyed going to Luxenburg a day at the races. 5th largest gran prix race in the world at that time. Your country is very hilly with lots of curves to enjoy while driving. I miss it very much. I hope to go back and visit someday. Stay with NDOL its going to double. Good Luck! from us here in Wisconsin.
Blacksword, I guess we both got our answer!. We didn't even have to call. How you like that? Of all things huh?
I'm picking this up from ST. It's either what is trading hands or the remaining shares. I said I wasn't sure if I was reading this right but this info can be found with a little research. I haven't done any. If you look up NDOL's float you should be able to find it. It really is irrelevent because the total number of O/S is such a small number if 100mln is excellent, 246mln for this particular stock is very good. You didn't sell your shares did you?
Barchart and American Bulls have strong buys on Ndol. Barchart strong buy on Flst. Some profit taking is expected. Its only the technical reads. It can't sort the fundamentals. It all sounds great to me. Daytraders can be shortsighted. I wouldn't worry about todays activities. The sharp buys and sells come within the first 2 hours. The investors come in at the later part of the day. No one can stand to be on the outside when big things are happening. I bought some more.
Approx 6 hours ahead in Germany and 9 hours ahead in Moscow. There is 2 exhanges in Russia. I don't know how many time zones there are throughout the former Soviet Union, several though.
Recall XSNX this went from .01 to almost 3dollars and it was and still is pure speculation. The difference is NDOL has hardassets and generated revenue and it oil and gas. This company is really a nice play. If XSNX is worth 2.50 not knowing where its share price is, we're worth alot more. Fear has caused alot of people to lose alot. This company is just now getting the recognition it deserves. The share price will double and it will still be cheap.
Ron don't misunderstand. When your shares are purchased it should be at the lower end. This will be a buyout and not an executed sell. Its better to wait regardless. Why sell short?. The same for NDOL. Anyone getting out now is selling way short. The speculators think they can get back in at much lower prices. There is alot of unfilled buy orders right now. Its gonna double from here in a relative short period of time. Oil at 100d a barrel? Its coming. Alternative solutions is a long way off. Lukoil is buying everything it can get its hands on. Oil is the place to be. Good Luck!
The writing is on the wall for this stock. People selling out today must need the money now. Shareholders will approve this sell and those patient will be happy in the next 6 days. I've added more today. The guess work is taken out and for tax purposes its nice not to have to sell myself. The tax benefit is nice.
I think we'll be higher at close. Its just a number of small trades. I think by Friday we'll be closing in at a dollar. People were selling at much lower prices than this. If the President said we'll be happy with the offer it must be a nice premium. I was thinking of this last night and I think this stock is well under valued at a buck. With gas prices escalating by mid summer this stock may hit 2.50 or more. I don't know if selling the company is such a good idea anymore. The ones selling today will regret it. What a difference a few buys can make and a few days.
I called the company Friday and news will be coming out this week. This company as tiny as it is has the whole package. Aggregates, oil , land, quarry, trucks and construction. Infrastructure and home. This company is way undervalued. Its also in the hotspot of the hurricane. Not only will the company be getting contracts but should begin producing alot more revenue from oil production. Look at Rmix its price has tripled from less than a year ago. This company IMO may become a takeover target. Rmix has been expanding and they have no operations in Louisiana and their aggregate business may look appetizing for them. Rmix has lots of cash. Its pure speculation! Quarry=$$$$$
I plan on buying more. The market is in demand for these services and products and this company will do well on its own. Its a ground floor opportuntiy. Good Luck!
What's great about this buyout is the Know of what its selling for. It sounds like Puma is taking it private. Pre-paid account cards is a great for business accounts and travelers. This will be the next big thing. More and more people inwinding there credit card debts makes for a nice alternative solution while protecting your bank account. Companies who give expense accounts for their reps makes for an easier solution to over spending. This will be a money maker given time and that why Puma wants it. Good Luck!
Those who sell and want back in will buy back at a higher price, its only a week a-way.
Janice I have only one post remaining so I'll respond to yours. Thanks for sharing the email from Pearl. Its truly sad that any one can conduct themselves like this. No one is forced into these investments and small companies especially those on the pinks are not overnighters. Any otc companies (pinks) are long term projects for the most part. They have limited capital and their growth comes in years not days. We all get impatient at times but making huge profits overnight is not realistic. I think of all the people of companies that I've had experiences with I really like them at Paim. Their not making huge profits at this time either. This kinda of behavior reflects a little on all of us. Paim doesn't owe anything to Skinny or any of us. I was even told once by the CEO that he now wishes he would have kept the company private because of the bashers and the MM's who involve themselves in NSS of his company's stocks. What they need is our support and good wishes and hopes of success. If we lose a little of our money its the risk we take.
They will lose too. Its not in anyone's interest to work against those wanting for all of us to be successful in our investments. It could be substantial someday.( Rainy day stock).
In reference to the Fila Mastiff dogs. If I'm not mistaken it was this breed of dog that killed that young school teacher in California a couple of years ago. San Francisco I think. Their very powerful and huge animals. I think their owners were sent to prison convicted of involentary manslaughter and the animal were euthinized. The owners were very strange people.
Folks I don't know what is going on with PAIM. I've never sold a share but this gets pretty old!. We own a gold stock, gold prices are soaring. The clincher is its in the cellar and may as well be in the dungeon chained. I don't understand the technicals holding it back?. I didn't know it could be traded in the 5 decimal range either. I know I can't with my broker. Its being bought for .00005 and sold for .0001 a gazillion times over may be a part of it I don't know?. I didn't expect it to take off thru the roof but I would think .02-.05 could be a reasonable expectation. This country has the richest mineral deposits on earth with companies world wide mining there. www.buyins would best serve companies if they could pinpoint where if any NSS is coming from. MM's or brokerage houses. I very much like this company's founders and mgmt and all their trying to do. They want the best for the shareholders and their country and their people and thats a pretty good foundation to build on. So what next? anyone have any ideas?
I'm new to I hub and posted a message on another stock I'm holding and following. My post got deleted. I look at stocks realistically I don't pump. I thought someone didn't like some of my views. If this is the case its not an open forum. Anyway the person who responded was to my deleted post. Just Curious.
Anyway All Good Luck. I hope something happens to move the stock. I've read it could go to 2,000d an ounce over time.
