It draws a straight line to the latest low of about .037
1. another reason this latest low could be a new support level...time will tell

Oil Shale New Technology: Not a retort, not in situ. This technology was athenticated by a major University in Utah.
Problem in a nutt shale. (1) old technology used to much water, ours does not, we only need the water in the shale itself. (2) Most of the product was burned up in the production of the oil from shale at least one third. Ours pulls out 99% oil from the shale. (3) old process also had left over a heavey oil substanc of asphalt. Ours does not.
(4)We use co2 sequestering and capture to be sold to old oil wells to get what is left over in those thrust belts. So ours is a green process. We do not use electricty to heat, but use a inert gas. This fuctions turns a turbine to produce electricty at 300 mega watts of electricty per hour per day a by product. Oil recovery is 18,000 barrels per day per plant. We do not need a refinery as all cuts are done on site, Desiel, Jet Fuel, heating oil, and many other products. This new science has been tested in the lab and works, we are in the middle of funding. It will work all over the earth where there is oil shale above 7%.Other by product is cement from the spent shale 22,000 ton per day.
Cost: per barrel of oil and all other products is $13.00 to $25.00 dollars US. All other systems are not even in the race. Keep your eye on American Oil Production. Just in passing all other forms of energy still depend on oil to work.
CHA-CHING
But now that prices are rising again, Shell Oil has gone public with its Mahogany research project near Rangely, Colo., where it's creating a new way to turn rock into oil.
Shell's "in-situ" process would cook the rock while it's still in the ground, then pump it out, eliminating the giant retorts, tailing sites and open-pit mining.
But Shell won't even be ready to make a decision on whether its process is commercially viable until roughly 2010.
Congress, though, wants the leasing program to begin long before that. And some are talking about going after shale with technology that, while upgraded, is very similar to the retort method used in the 1980s.
For example, one of the star witnesses of Gibbons' hearings was Jack Savage, president of Utah-based Oil-Tech Inc. He said the company is ready to start cooking oil out of shale with a retort it has built near Vernal, Utah.
"We have been working on this for 15 years," Savage said. "Now we're ready to go."
Savage, once president of companies that manufactured golf bags and other sporting goods, said he can turn shale into oil for $10 to $22 a barrel, depending on market conditions. Savage pushed for an accelerated federal leasing program, but he's already leased 38,000 acres of state land in Utah and says he's working on a research-and-development bid to continue work on his project.
Meanwhile, even the new process Shell is trying won't be light on the land.
"While you are drilling, that acreage is being used pretty substantially," said Dag Nummedal, a geologist at the Colorado School of Mines. "You will have intense industrial development in patches."
Shell executive Terry O'Connor compares the impact with that of coal strip-mining but says there's a long history of restoring land dug up for coal. "Time has proven that coal-mining operations in the Rocky Mountain West have an excellent record of handling reclamation," O'Connor said.

Oil Sands
Fact #1 – U.S. oil shale is 2-times as dense as Canadian oil sands: It takes 2 tons of Canadian oil sand to produce one barrel of oil. It takes only half as much oil shale to generate a barrel of oil. There’s simply more oil in oil shale.
Fact #2 – The U.S. has larger oil resources: There’s 11-times more oil in the U.S. than there is in Alberta, Canada.
Congress calls this area simply, “the next Saudi Arabia.”
It’s easy to see why
This region holds the largest known oil reserve on the planet
Colorado’s Oil Lands - Restricted for 76 Years, Now Open for Drilling
There are over 16,000 square miles of oil shale in the Green River formation…
Each acre holds 2 million barrels of oil - it’s the most concentrated energy source on earth, according to the Energy Department.
The federal government owns 80% of this oil-rich land.
In fact, the government placed protective legislation on this land in 1930, forbidding anyone to touch it.
You see, the government always knew this land was saturated with oil - but getting it out has always been expensive.
Buying oil from foreign countries was always the cheaper bet. It has been for the past 80 years.
Wisely, the government kept the land around for a “rainy day”, protecting it with 1930s legislation.
We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.
Here are the official estimates:
* 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
* 18-times as much oil as Iraq
* 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
* 22-times as much oil as Iran
* 500-times as much oil as Yemen
And it’s all right here in the Western United States.
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says, “We’ve got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East.”
More than 2 TRILLION barrels. Untapped.
“That’s more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today,”
And the profit forecasts are ridiculous. According to the RAND Corporation (a public-policy think tank for the government), this small region can produce:
Three million barrels of oil per day That translates into more than $20 BILLION a year.
These are the conservative estimates. The U.S. Energy Dept. estimates an eventual output of 10 million barrels of oil per day. At that rate, the money flow would be even greater.
On August 8, 2005, President Bush signed into law, a mandate lifting the protective legislation on the Green River Formation.
This mandate is called The Energy Policy Act of 2005. It calls for the opening phases of oil extraction in the Green River Formation ¬ the world’s most concentrated energy source

do you believe the Aroon set up on AMEP is posative or negative

I enterd AMEP at the what appeard to be the low
.062
this seemed to me the low of the trading pattern
notice on or about May 28th the low was .060
.06 was the high of Feb 27th & March 27th as well as around Dec. 12th -previous highs become future resistance points
On or about June 13th it hit the low again-at this pint it did not reach the previous low-in other words higher lows cause higher pps
RSI(5) hit the 30 point-appearing to be the low & bounced off-began trading up
lowtrade I am a little riskier trading style than you
I want to bring out that if the RSI(5) or pps had turned South in the next couple days I would have gotten out
this is a little risky i agree
but it allows me a little more percentage pints in return
say an adittinal 10 to 20 %
I need to bone up on the CMF TA as well as the Aroon TA
you brought out points I had not noticed before
wish I could paste charts like you did
I could possibly get my pints across better

AMEP is the only one with all indicators positive, but the slop of each is flat, saying what ever happens may bee weak, at best.
lowtrade
when you say the slope is flat
what are you refering to
the slope of the ADX line
slope of the DX+ & - lines
I am not hazed by the fact it is a traders stock

waiting for the PR to move it up-hopefully
it looks like the ADX lines changed angles at end of day

been watching AMEP-looks like a break out
accumulation for last 5 days
slow but steady
Below is my reasoning
DI + & DI- look like they are ready to cross at the 20
RSI (5) currently at 64.35 approaching 68
RSI (14) crossed 50- now at 50.2
buying has been steady for the last 5 days-in the green
appears to be slow steady buying preassure
ADX (14) line same place as last run up-May 27th
looks like PR soon to be let out

the AMEP board on I-hub
all indications point to a major PR soon
multiple wells being drilled at present
they issued a permit- went vertical
then
re-issued permit to drill horizontally into the Barnett Shale deposits
a major deposit in Texas
have two drilling rigs- 2nd one being referbished
don't have to wait on rigs to drill like most companies

Ameritrade has a 1 time fee for the life of the trade
you buy or sell 1,000,000 shares of XYZ on a GTC---you pay
$ 9.99 for the trade
you buy or sell 1,000,000 shares of XYZ on a day trade---you pay $ 9.99 for how many shares trade for that day till closing of that day---if only 5,000 shares trade at end of day---you pay $ 9.99
cha-ching
Wisetradr I looked at that as well
On DAILY READING
what struck me was the RSI line-on daily it has bounced off & above the 30- not only is it bouncing off the 30- each time it bounces, the bottom is a little higher- also note the bottom for 1st part of April was higher than the bottom on or about March 8th- this could indicate a new trend............?
You are probably right- a little too risky - this is one I will not stay in for long-

PS----thanks for taking the time to help me- if it doesn't move soon I am out
Wisetradr have been trading
for 5 yrs-won some lost a lot- just started making money, this year with your 5-10-20-DMA scan- thanks to you & lowtraer- saw your scan on his site
I will bone up on MACD & ADX-understand MACD some what
Easy to tell when the 5 crosses 10 & 20 either way ( up or down ) the hard part is to follow the ride further up- OR DOWN- that is the big hole to fall in :~(
at this point I don't feel confident chasing QOIL up the run- don't know enough about MACD or ADX to follow it up- time to bone up :~)
Some stocks don't follow the 5-10-20 DMA- they move in other ways- oh well I will get good at one system & learn it well & move on
wisetradr- can you give me your take on ESNR-
it looks to me like it is ready to take off- bought in at .22 & sold at .30
Rolled back down to .195- bought in at .215 & looking to ride back up- [was that a wise move......????]

BTW it is a great scan...thanks
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=qoil&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p38014569686
on a daily bases to detect up or down reversals. I have been able to get in & out(at or near bottoms & highs) for maximum return....made some great money using your scan
I watch the 5 DMA cross the 10DMA & 20DMA...once the 5DMA rolls up or down against the 10DMA & 20DMA it indicates the bottom or top has turned....on March 24th the 5DMA was headed straight up & 10DMA was above 20DMA...headed up....volume was low & on Monday, the 27th, volume picked up & it ran again.
My question:
What other indicator(s) could have told me it was getting ready to run...Could I have used another type of scan to indicate the run about to happen....did the 10DMA being above the 20DMA indicate the run was about to happen.......?
I have also noticed the black line ( what does it indicate ) on the ADX turns prior to reversal...it had not turned on the 27th...it was still headed North...but this is not always the case for a reversal.
Thanks in advance
