Watch the video. Denial of Carbon Capture being a huge part of the future beginning NOW is DEEP! People can deny it, but the world won't. Exxonmobil is a prime example. They are questionably the most influential and powerful company in the WORLD, and have been lobbying for years now for CCUS, and are focusing on HARD TO DECARBONIZE INDUSTRY! FCE is a perfect fit. And we all find out the near term future within 3 weeks.

Exactly, only you obviously are more fluent than I. Thank you.
FCEL +10% today and volume was a little heavy. The only reason it was heavy was because 3.2M shares traded in the last minute.
BE, PLUG and BLDP moved relatively insignificant on average or below average volume. Plug had good news yesterday but the SP was unaffected. Pick a side, but something significant is going to happen by April 5. TICK TOCK!!
Often left scratching my head, WTF is going on. So 22 hours ago, Plug had a big investment from the US government. They're slightly in the red right now while fuel cell is up 10%. Of course you have to assume the 10% jump is related to the Exxon Mobil 8K. Although why would the stock ever reach a dollar if people thought the Exxon Mobil deal was going to result in anything substantial. As I've stated repeatedly the market cap should never be anywhere near this low. They are applying no future value to the company whatsoever. Even though they just increased recurring revenue by well over 20 million a year, And that's recurring revenue Not going away for over 15 years. Part of that is one of the most advanced technology projects on the planet with Toyota.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://investorplace.com/2024/03/plug-stock-chuck-schumer-just-announced-a-75-million-boost-to-plug-power/&ved=2ahUKEwiI-5ik8_aEAxW2M1kFHVtGDLgQFnoECEYQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0EmzufVE2etXGRQlgG3bqY
Lake Clint Eastwood would say, You've got to ask yourself! So on a daylight today in the stock has been manipulated down to $1, why would it be up 6: 6 to 7% on a little above average volume when the other three popular fuel cell stocks are all up or down marginally on lower volume. Is it because of the 8K. If it is that would suggest there's some optimism, and more importantly as previously stated there's no value baked into the share price because of the current Exxon Mobil relationship. So what does that mean when people finally accept there is a significant future potential with ExxonMobil. TICK TOCK!
Don't forget, according to fuelcell energy, and the documentation that I've seen proving such, Our fuel cells are the most efficient (with CHP) after all you can't exceed 100% efficiency. There's no stopping the hydrogen revolution, And we are right in the middle of it. We have many many hours of many different types of projects with all of the powers to be in the United States and other countries. Slower move than I thought, But definitely unstoppable. A move similar to the 3-month run end of 20 into early 21 would be easily explainable and justified now, unlike the! TICK TOCK!
https://www.hydrogenfuelnews.com/hydrogen-fuel-cells-gm-worksites/8563693/
Yes, so my thoughts, Exxonmobil is as politically involved as anyone. They know yea or nay in policy updates incoming. They want to negotiate a commercialization plan or even potentially a buy out. Today was 4 business days after notice SEC deadline. New deadline is 4/4 at the latest. Buyout would definitely be no less than $5B but I'm thinking more like $10-$20B. $5B would be almost $11 per share. I just don't see that happening. I'm hoping for 2 year JDA extension with 2 projects. Listen to or read Earnings call and wording about MCFC expansion as related to Exxonmobil. Few has been expecting this, as I suggested was coming prior to seeing the 8K earlier. Few cut ties with Posco because they were attempting to steel our tech, tarnish our name, blame FCE for faulty cells even though they altered the cells to 2.5MW trying to extend the life. They were also trying to short and destroy the stock and take the company down. Exxonmobil could be involved in shorting as a negotiation tool, taking the price down so 19-20x sounds good but would only be $11-$22. If they are trying to get a bargain, or giving us a non profitable deal, he has to walk but I don't expect that. Few knows we need this with Exxonmobil now. Losing Exxonmobil would be a huge set back related to speed to commercialization and public perception of failure. But we can't make a losing deal and he knows that, hence telling Posco to pound sand. He'll get it done because Exxonmobil wants this too. They need this almost as much as FCE. They know this tech is ready to rock. The have referenced this as potentially game changing as far back as 2016 when Vijay was in a meeting with Battone, to most recently since the project commitment in December. Only now they said GAME CHANGING not potentially! Science Direct has said the same.
US best get their heads out of their ------. The world is committed, they don't want to be the runner up at the prom.
There's an eye opener! But realistically there is no value in the share price related to future progress in this JDA, or the SP would be multiples of where it's at. So, no extension or continuation shouldn't hurt, but it would. On the other end, any significant extension o commercialization agreement should have a significant effect. And ironically, didn't I just mention this in an earlier post. I just saw the 8k 5 minutes ago. Busy making $ to invest in FCE

Bloom has done better over certain periods but I'm relatively confident the past month not so much. The Amazon deals is on hold with uncertainty about moving forward in the future. Earnings missed also.

JDA continues through March 31. I'm relatively confident that means they will extend and/or expand on the JDA prior to 3/31/24 since the pilot project was announced. Also, pilot project press release clearly states "if the project is success Exxonmobil will commercialize at their facilities along with others.
I wonder if that means $big$ has motives to try steeling as many shares as possible before the new JDA is released?

Anybody know why Bloom is down 10%?
Analysts upgrades and downgrades, likely related to the decline the past couple of days. Nothing to do with fundamentals. So I started looking through This massive list. I was actually looking to see what moves there were on fuel cell companies targets. I know I saw a downgrade on at least a couple of them before I even looked. Then I saw some major adjustments by analysts proving how wrong they were. They caught car parts.com to $4 from $8 and The share price is $1.80. They raised carvana from $45 to 90 and it's already 75. Lol. Take your choice either they were very wrong ahead of time or very late to the game in making the changes.

Seems to me as though if the earnings were truly bad or the outlook was shaky or doubtful the stock would have continued lower today. Although the day is not over, I'm confident people are starting to see the future is bright. And maybe understanding that any attempt to try to suppress the stock much longer maybe futile. Especially if there are any significant developments regarding hydrogen or carbon capture That would obviously benefit the company.
HIGHLY recommend listening to that recent Darren Woods interview. He made it Crystal Clear the US and the world are not going to reach their targets with current policies and monetary support at this pace. There's going to be a harder/faster push on CC, Mark my words. The 100's of billions will turn into Trillions by end of year, and we will get a higher Carbon Tax. Here's the interview!

Barron's gets it! Beat earnings estimates. FCE gave specific guidance today, I'm sure partly so analysts can start being more accurate instead of guessing. For eg, Analysts were expecting a huge # for S&L even though there were absolutely no module replacements scheduled or expected in Q1, NONE!

In response to analyst question, Few stated They have opportunities to increase their backlog in 2024 in particular in South Korea with repowering and in California. In particular in South Korea, Again reference to current position in South Korea, They have opportunities not only to repower but to sell new modules and sign new power purchase agreements. As I've stated repeatedly historically South Korea is one of our best short-term opportunities and is huge. Three powering and sales is cash. And the power purchase agreements are long-term recurring revenue.
Yes I saw that and agree thank you. Hopefully I get a chance to look at the 10K. Tuning into the call at 10:00. Generation Revenue should average over 15 million per quarter moving forward That will be significant, hence the low watermark statement. If they're making 15 plus million from Generation, how can they not be 17 million. Especially since my estimate of 15 is conservative. It should be about a million per megawatt And they're over 62. The newer modules also perform more efficiently, resulting in higher revenue. And when there is a shutdown for modular exchanges, S&L revenue Will be much greater than the generation revenue lost during those exchanges. But they still should average 15 plusM per Q
Yes, thanks. Recognized but not as revenue, which it shouldn't be but I interpreted They were counting as revenue when they mentioned they would be receiving it. Yes generation revenue increased and will increase more in Q2. And S&L revenue will not kick in until Q4 unfortunately. Generation Revenue should be over $14M in Q2 and average over $15M per Q beyond. Except during quarters when module exchanges are done, Then obviously they would have S&L revenue to replace the loss in generation, which would far exceed the generation revenue lost due to downtime for the exchanges.
Other than revenue, We really couldn't expect any better. The outlook and statement regarding the revenue being a watermark is pretty strong. And a $.05 loss is really good especially given a $3.5M charge for Toyota and analysts expecting an $.08 cent loss. I did say before Q2 results were going to be better. Although I'm a little disappointed S&L Revenue will not kick in until Q4!
Key take aways!
1) Q1 Revenue is a watermark (future quarters will ALL be higher.
2) Loss of $.05 beat all but 1 analyst estimates
3) Final charges for Toyota impacted earnings and margins, but obviously will no longer!!!!!! Better margins and earnings moving forward, especially since Q1 revenue is the water mark.
4) $348M cash is lowest in a long time, however, that is plenty for far more than 4 quarters operations, and likely 8 quarters with no significant improvement in revenue, again based on the revenue watermark, no more fees related to Toyota & Groton and vastly improved margins
5) They received the $21.6M but not as revenue
6) generation Revenue did come in at $10.5M and will increase in Q2 as Groton Derby one Derby 2 and Toyota will be there for a full quarter.
Highly advised listening, 45 minute interview with Darren Woods.
