Thanks Xanadu, you have always been one of my favorites.
I've seen the ups and downs of real estate, I've been here 34 years now! It's slowly been getting better down here, because there have been so many good buys. How about a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a double car garage with city utilities (water & sewer) all installed and paid for $50K???? I've seen that price go to $60K and now $70K all in the last year or so. I'm lucky to be with a real good company in an improving market.
I wish you and yours the very best.
Wow, it's been a long time, but things haven't changed much! A few guys that think they are going to make some money on this stock, and a few guys letting them know that it's not going to happen.
At one time I loved this stock, and getting the chance to sell through Best Buy (? I can't even remember for sure if that was the right chain store or not anymore?) was a wonderful opportunity. After that, Big John blew it big time.
I'm surprised the board is still here, and I thank those that work to keep it going. It brings a smile to my face, but I have to shake my head when I read some of the hopeful posts.
I wish the best to all of you, and I hope you bought at .0001!!!!
Hey guys! The ask is only .0001, you can't do better than that! One sale at .0002 and you have doubled your money (w/o considering trading fees).
One million shares only $100!
SB, you're still alive!!!! Ha, ha, just kidding. The amount of interest on this board is ALMOST zero, so I don't think a moderator is even needed at this point.
You were talking to yourself for awhile, but I appreciated what you had to say, and was hoping you were still around.
Even if a mod was really needed, I just do not have the time to monitor any board. I'm lucky if I get a few minutes to check my favorites each day.
I'll be glad to contribute when I get the chance.
Steve
I don't know if anyone is here, but I just bought FSC yesterday at $12.32. With a 10% annualized dividend, and over 2 weeks before the Ex-Dividend date of 1/28 I am anticipating an increase in price to at least $13 by then.
Expecting the price to drop by .10 by the next day after the ex-dividend date, I am going to try to sell right before the ex-dividend date, and then buy back after drop in price anticipating another rise in price up through the next ex-dividend date of 3/31 where another .1066 dividend has been declared.
I know this might sound crazy to those that revel in collecting dividends.
So, I lose the ($.1066) dividend, but get an increase in price of at least $.68, giving a return of 5.5% in one month, that would be annualized at 66%, so let's see if it works out?
Yeah, I understand Wick. It just seems like we do have a pretty good bunch of readers/contributors. Since TGLN is on it's last legs, it was just an idea. I can always hunt down another board that already does specialize in finding promising new stock possibilities, I just like the people here.
Since, I'm so BAD at doing this (however, TGLN was mentioned!), what does anyone feel about FSC, cheap enough at $12.32, and offering an annualized dividend of 10%, and also gaining about .10 in it's stock price every 1 or 2 days.
It's only been around since 2008, but it is traded on the big board.
For tax purposes, it pays out 90% of it's net gain on a regular basis. Let me know if you think otherwise, I'm about to jump in big (for me). Next 2 dividends go ex-dividend on 1/28 and 2/28, with payouts on 2/28 and 3/31 respectively of .1066/share.
Steve
MH - I think we are all interested in helping each other make some money. WICK, thanks for the heads up on BKYI, I'm watching it everyday. guy39, thanks for mentioning MTM:CA
WICK - Since it looks like TGLN is on it's last legs, is there any possibility we might update the name here to "Stocks to make money with", or something like that?
Steve
Wick - Sorry, MMRF was not your stock. BKYI was yours and does show a better 6 month period, although it is down over the past year. I'll keep an eye on it. Good luck!
Steve
Wick and MoneyHungry, thank you for your replies. Xanadu, thank you for your private reply, however, since I am a CHEAP "Freebie" member, I can't reply privately to you. I have always saved my pennies, but spent my dollars maybe a little more freely than I should.
Money Hungry - Why am I here? I guess I am stuck here? : ^ )
I got interested in JF's company awhile back, in the beginning, when he was trying to be legit. The company was then renting and/or selling mail order videos. I actually made some money on that stock, but I never bought and held. I was lucky. After getting out, I just lingered. For some reason I visit here regularly, just to see what is going on because I feel comfortable with some of the members here.
Wick - thanks for the suggestions. I was very impressed by the stock price fluctuations of CONN and MMRF, but disappointed in their 6-month charts, showing them both down over 40% over that same period when this has been a pretty good 6-month period for OXY and CVX, and stocks in general.
Xanadu - As regards ACDU, I got a shot of that area by entering the address into Google maps. Yes, they do have a "warehouse/showroom" near Naples, FL., but I could not get anything more definite.
I looked a little more into ACDU. The 40% price fluctuations over a 30 day period are good, and it has held "even" over the past 6 months. I'm most concerned about only having less than $5K of stock sales daily. Hard to get in and out of with a larger investment.
I'm all cash right now, but normally I've got a LOT (for me anyway) tied up in the stock market. Normally, all my eggs are in one basket, but I move fast when I get on the wrong side. And yes, I do lose sometimes (not frequently, but regularly). However, I lose lot less $ than what I gain when I can take my relatively small percentage profits. The comfort level of OXY and/or CVX are just too reassuring considering the way I invest. To be able to book $1,500 to $2,000 in profits on one stock in one day is too much to resist for me. Tie it in with a good dividend, which I normally take advantage of (over $500 on the last CVX dividend), and then it is even better. Get the dividend (only taxable in the year sold on personal accounts, not IRAs), wait for a $3 increase from purchase price, and sell. Then, wait for a similar decrease (even at a higher price point), buy again, and do it over and over again.
Anyway, forgive the long post. If TGLN is not working for us, it is natural to seek out more information from past friends on the board, even though the discussion is not relative to the actual stock board, and I apologize for that. It is true that MMRF, CONN, and ACDU all have IHub Boards, but it is time consuming to switch between them constantly. It would be nice to have a general stock discussion board that we all frequented. Maybe we could change the name of TGLN to something more general, since it looks like we are close to an end with that stock?
No matter what, I thank you all for getting back to me.
Steve
TGLN is pretty dead, anyone want to talk how to make some money? Any stock suggestions? I'm specifically looking for a top tier stock with long range reliability, but with above average price fluctuations? I'm been doing pretty well buying and selling OXY, but switched to CVX because of the outstanding dividends that are like a nice bonus!
I wish you all a great holiday season!
Steve Nix
1,000,000 shares, $100!!!
Wow, only 10 minutes left to buy this stock before trading ends today! So far, 100,000 shares have traded hands at $.0002. Let's see, that is $20! What a joke.
Either way, what a joke. If over 42 Million shares were bought and sold, even at .0002, that is less than $8,500. Maybe some of the shares were sold by people that were paid in stock for work they had done? If it is an actual insider disposing of the stock, don't they have to make some sort of public declaration?
To me, it is pretty obvious that anyone that did not buy this stock at .0001 is going to lose money.
Wow, it shows that 49,999 shares were sold today, and the only price shown is .0002. That is a whopping $10 purchase! If he pays $10/trade, it would have to go up to .0006 to break even! Who is buying here I wonder?
How to DOUBLE your money! Buy this stock at .0001 and sell it at .0002, it sounds simple to me!
Hey think of all the rent money they are saving! : ^ )
Ooooops.........0002 again. How low can you go?
I agree, a Reverse Split, 1000 to 1, would mean this stock would initially and supposedly be worth .3000 instead of .0003
Why wait until it goes to .0001?
Ha, ha. You need profit before you have to worry about saving any taxes! Although there is a loss carry over, the expenses that created the loss last year still have to paid for.
Step up now and get almost 17 shares for .01!!!!
What a joke!
Wow, looking at the September 2009 numbers from the 10-Q (which I had not seen previously) pales the current excitement over companies buying and selling each other. there is nothing there for anyone except the insiders.
Revenue for previous 3 months: $101,000
Cost of Revenue for those 3 months: $113,000
Expenses for those 3 months: $27,000,000, including $24,000,000 in consulting fees.
What a friggin' joke!
There is nothing here worth buying or selling, is there?
It's a sham. A new corporation with no FEI #, no annual reports, no phone number. A "smart" move on JF's part to get out of the company clean. Find a company that has nothing going for it, show the purchase of an "exciting" yacht brokerage company, issue all sorts of stock for the purchase, and then sell his shares when the price increases slightly.
Any bets he has sold some stock today?
Maybe I'm wrong? If this stock is still over .0001 30 days from now (with no reverse split), I will admit that I am wrong.
Otherwise, I can't see any reason to be impressed.
Oh, to the new guy that accused me of saying what I said because I have short sold this stock? I only WISH I could short sell this stock! I admit it, I WOULD! I hope you make a lot of money on the full $160 you have invested, but I think you will come to realize that the number of people following this stock just for amusement is quite substantial and the lesson you may learn from this is an important one you probably will not forget.
Oh, you put a 1 where a 0 belongs if you want anyone to agree with you. Not .0014, but .0004, which is much more likely.
Wow, that link shows the notification of the 10-Q extension was way back on November 17, 2009. There must be some sort of time limit or the SEC will take action? This company appears to be close to folding or being folded?
Wick - They were late with the last Quarterly Report also. Did that Quarterly Report ever get filed?
Yeah, it looks like the restaurant is in trouble. I heard a customer had a $21.00 bill there last week and talked the waitress into accepting 10,000 shares of TGLN stock instead of cash. They didn't sell the stock quick enough, and now it is only worth $6.00 after taking out an $11.00 stock trade fee.
Maybe if they had a reverse split, the stock would be worth more?
: ^ ) Ha, ha, ha.......JF, what is next?
Is this what you call sub-penny? Not all that long ago, you could only buy 1/8 of a dollar in stocks, and that never made a lot of sense either. Then there was talk of making it a minimum of .05 for a share. Then, .01 made sense. But .0001 come on, we're not making sense again.
Wow, this is going down faster than I thought it would! I guess we won't get the reverse split until we are down to .0001? He's got to start issuing more stock to himself pretty soon. I'm anxious to see the 10-Q, but believe the real dilution will not start until this quarter.
I think those of us familiar with the management know what this stock is really worth: 0
I believe JF really started the DVD mail order business with good intentions, and when he made it with Circuit City, there was a good possibility for the business to grow. The problem was that he was distracted by trying to do too much with too little, and also some misguided attempts at wild expansion ideas without building the core business first. Then when he learned how to cash in, that priority seemed to take over.
This current attempt didn't have a chance from day 1 IMHO.
Hey Mac, it sounds like you know what you are doing, and there definitely is a possibility of making some bucks if your timing is right.
It's just that in a downward trend you can get caught on the wrong side of the stock price.
Just like when I recommended to sell at .02, (before it did bounce to .02) those that didn't thought the price would go even higher than that, and they held on. So, if you know when to take your profits, you can come out OK.
For those that held, and it dropped to .013, I recommended selling if it ever hits .016 again, but at this point it is doubtful if it will get that high again. I guessed wrong, and those that were holding for .016 saw it go down even more. They got caught on the wrong side of the stock price.
After all, penny stocks are all just pretty much of a guess, and you need to limit your investment to your loss threshold. If you throw in a quick $5K at .01 and then sell at .013, wow, that's a gain of 30%, not too shabby. If drops sub penny, no big deal, you took a shot, and now it's time to move on to the next one. So, good luck to you, I hope you get a great bounce!
Overall Pattern??? This stock has shown a definite pattern. It hit these prices on these trading days in August, 2009:
Aug. 4 - .137
Aug. 5 - .093
Aug. 6 - .075
Aug 12 - .050
Aug 14 - .040
Aug 17 - .035
And now, again, a similar pattern in November, 2009:
Nov. 2 - .030
Nov. 3 - .020
Nov 12 - .015
Nov 16 - .014
Nov 18 - .013
Nov 19 - .010
This pattern looks pretty much DOWN to me, regardless of what news has been put out since August. How does it look to you guys? If you own this stock, it might be prudent to consider selling before the 10-Q is released.
Wick mentioned that the 10Q is due today. Has anyone heard if it will be timely filed? When it comes out, I wouldn't be surprised it we went sub-penny, at least for the day.

Please listen to the guys that have learned from previous experience with this management. 8 days ago, on post 265521 I made a suggestion to take your money if it hit .02 again.
Now, I would suggest taking your money out of this stock if it hits .016 again.
The 10-Q is due. Do you know what the CPA charges? Well it is more than this company can afford to pay in cash, and it appears there is a good chance they will pay with stock, as they have previously.
If the accountant and everyone else that gets paid in stock sells the stock, that is known as dilution. If the company doesn't make enough income to pay it's accounts payable, then dilution will occur. You can almost bet that the income that will be reported in the coming 10-Q will be substantially below accounts payable.
No matter what the price of the stock price, I would recommend selling your shares before the 10-Q comes out. The kicker? We don't know when it will come out. But we do know that the last 10-Q came out almost 90 days ago. I don't think I have to tell you what that means.
I wish you the best. I don't own this stock. I don't think anyone in the US can short sell this stock, or I would be on board. I am not getting paid by anyone to write this. I am just sticking around to see if I can help someone avoid investing in anything that involves this management because I am very familiar with their mod us operand i.
Thanks Wick. I've been posting here for 4 years and didn't know about the "Settings". Thanks, I'll check it right away. I did know about the 4 pm privileges on Friday, but I'm out getting tuned up and causing trouble somewhere by 4 pm on Fridays.
: ^ )
xanadu, thanks for your PM. I hope you see this, I can't PM. I didn't think you did the delete of my message, I just thought you might know why I was deleted. They deleted my post today when I asked why I got deleted????
It would be nice if they wrote a PM and told me what I did wrong.
I am guessing that it was because I mentioned other posters by their handle on this board, and said they were spammers?????
For all we know FBone could already be amongst us, under a different identity?
10-Q for quarter ending September 30 should be out in the next week or so? Let's see if they made ANY income this quarter?
Any income could help pay (From June 30 10-Q) the Accounts Payable of $1,795,305.
Ha, ha, what a joke. If you don't make any income, get everyone to accept stock in payment. How could the stock price do anything but go down?
Oh, I owe you $16,000? Here, take 1,000,000 shares, but don't sell them right away. Hold on for awhile and you could come out great!
Down 25% before 11 am. Down to .015 all on it's own. As far as we know the company has not issued any more stock to pay someone, because that could drop it down to .01
Of course, they keep that as quiet as they can, as long as they can, don't they?
If we get some really good news, and go back to .02, it might be a good time to get the heck out of Dodge!
I hate to be negative on any stock, but there is just something about this company where it seems the uninitiated stockholders should be warned.
If it wasn't for the past history, I would say give him a chance. But seeing firsthand what he did before, it looks like a sure set-up to me. A simple, issue stock, fabricate meaningless news, watch for the spike, sell the stock, watch the price drop, then start all over again. When that stops working, do a reverse split so you can start all over again.
Isn't it obvious?
What's TGLN really worth?
Well, Abond says there are just under 63,000,000 outstanding shares, so that means at the open today at .03 it would be worth $1,890,000.
Right now, at .02 it is worth $1,260,000.
If it goes to .01 it will be worth $630,000.
Not too bad when you really think about it. All the company really is, is what the CEO & Officers and their ideas are worth, plus any assets the company may have.
Let's say it stays at .02 and all of a sudden the CEO issues or gives someone another 20 million shares of stock. All of a sudden, there are 83 million shares, and if the value really is $1,260,000 the share price will drop to .015
The problem is, I think the price could drop below .01, all on it's own, and then the real fun begins. If the dreamers out there think they are going to make money on this stock, I wish them well, but I go along with all the other advice given recently. If you make a profit on this stock, sell it and you will be able to thank yourself later for doing so.
Find a real company to invest in.
Just my opinion, and that's probably only worth about .02 also!
