Here's todays WT-A...
B) False
The driest regions always have little cloudiness.
Your Answer: False
As with most generalisations, there are exceptions. High and middle level cloud can overshadow the driest regions. Due to orographic peculiarities (the proximity of the Andes and the cold Humboldt current) Lima in Peru is usually cloudy but dry.

I heard yesterday, on the TV weather news, once the temp reaches 103* ones body does't sweat anymore. Which can lead to the first stage of HEAT STROKE, if one stays in the temp to long, and possiable DEATH!
WOW! I got post #33,000! Thanks!

Today's Forecast
Thursday, July 21th - 6:15 am
Morning weather is quiet around the valley- with sun breaks around the city. A weak disturbance north of the region will likely keep the sky conditions mixed with clouds and sun today. With the onshore flow still in place, look for daytime highs staying in the low 70s. Overnight, mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s. Drizzle is also possible in spots where clouds deepen over the area.
Tomorrow, another stronger disturbance approaches the Pacific Northwest. Showers are possible in the morning. Skies will begin to clear by evening.
This weekend's forecast is still looking warmer and dry! Daytime highs will likely reach the 80s on Saturday...before increasing clouds move in on Sunday.

C) More condensation nuclei in low latitudes
To generalise, the wettest regions of the world are the tropics, the driest, the poles. What is NOT a reason for this?
Your Answer: More condensation nuclei in low latitudes
Self-evident, really. Even though the great deserts of the world are at relatively low latitude, they never straddle the Equator. There exists an inter-tropical convergence zone between the northeast and southeast Trade winds where convergence of moist, warm air masses causes enormously high Cb (remember?),due to the tropopause (the level at which the lapse rate becomes zero) being highest over the equator.

Ok!...LOL!!! When I was an Army MP, I qualifed as a expert shot with a service .45ACP! Also a expert shot with a M1 Grand rifle.
When I was stationed at The Presidio of San Franciso, 6th Army HQ in 1964. One day we were out at the rifle range. To do our yearly qualifing with the M1 Grand. I was hitting the bulleye every time, standing offhand. Our XO walked up and said to me, there did you learn to shoot like that? I told him, when I was 12 years old, I was a junor member of the NRA. I was learing to shoot in the basement range, it whe San Mateo PD, CA., with single shot .22 rifles. I had qualifed up to sharpshooter 7th bar when I decided to quit....))
Well, the official race results from last week, showes that the 16 finished, 18th, the 1 31st, the 22 10th place.
I'm a bit confused, what do you mean?...))
GOOD! A case of ammo, how many boxes of 50 is that? Should last you a long time. I have 9 boxes myself, bought it from Erik.
