tatrader11-can you please post your technical take on FEEC similar to what you did on ERHE on thge JDZ board.
Spec29-Addax does not have to pay all cash for ERHC. They could do some sort of stock/cash buyout.
We know the AA is in Ghana. Does anyone know how we can find out if the AA has begun drilling. I sent an e-mail to Vanco but no response.
tatrader11-Are you barryz1 on the ragingbull board.
I have found that rigzone is not always accurate. Last year it indicated that the AA was enroute when it was still in Singapore.
Tryoty-Do you think that we will be able to see the AA on www.marinetraffic.com once it arrives in Ghana??
Balance-What is your take on Oily's comment?? Why do you think that he says "no one is going to like the deal"
"Fate of ERHC is in the hands of one shareholder and he is going to take the deal. A deal that no one is going to like"
I don't think we can track the AA until it approaches Ghana.
caymon08-Do you know if there is a way to track the AA now that is has left Cape Town??

Any updates on the AA. Last we heard it was scheduled to leave Cape Town on March 15th and begin drilling by end of March.
Todays issue of Oil and Gas International has story about Addax securing drill ship. I don't have a subscription so I can't read the article.
majicathome-Where do you see .128 x .175?? Both Etrade and OCTBB show .162 x .175
ERHClongtimer-Have you been able to get an update on the AA from your source in Cape Town?
majacathome-I believe that this filing was for the quarter ending September 30, 2008. As of September 30, 2008 the AA was still in the shipyard in Singapore. It's now in Cape Town and should leave for West Africa soon.
Addax Petroleum Announces Significant New Discovery in Nigeria
Exploration success with Njaba discovery in onshore OML124 license area
Calgary, Alberta, January 28th, 2009 – Addax Petroleum Corporation (“Addax Petroleum” or the “Corporation”) (TSX:AXC and LSE:AXC) today announces a significant onshore oil discovery from the Njaba 2 well (formally Okaka) currently drilling in the eastern part of the OML124 license area in Nigeria. Addax Petroleum has a 100 per cent working interest under a Production Sharing Contract covering the OML124 license area, whereby the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation is the concessionaire. Addax Petroleum currently produces approximately six thousand barrels per day from the Ossu and Izombe fields in OML124, which is located within the stable and peaceful Imo State.
Commenting, Jean Claude Gandur, President and Chief Executive Officer of Addax Petroleum said: “I am extremely proud to report an excellent start to 2009 with this successful exploration result in Nigeria as it is a leading discovery that has the potential to be one of our largest fields in Nigeria. The Njaba discovery is the first exploration well to be drilled in OML124 since the mid-80’s and these results will increase the production potential of the license area considerably, as well as significantly upgrade the remaining undrilled prospects. This onshore discovery is a further example of Addax Petroleum’s commitment to development in Nigeria. In addition, this recent success represents yet another highlight for our highly prolific Nigerian operations as it will strengthen our record of growth in Nigeria and it underpins our robust and consistent operational performance.”
The Njaba discovery was consistent with pre-drill estimates having encountered four oil bearing reservoirs totaling 289 feet of gross oil column, including the two main individual gross columns of 149 feet and 115 feet of between 20° and 28°API at depths from 990 to 1,050 metres. Production from the Njaba discovery can be readily tied in as the Corporation has existing production facilities and infrastructure in the OML124 license area. Addax Petroleum continues to drill into secondary, lower sections relative to the newly discovered oil bearing intervals and plans to carry out a test of the main reservoirs. The Corporation also plans to drill an additional appraisal well down-dip of the discovery which may further enhance the recoverable reserves from Njaba.
Strass-I agree you should e-mail Dan Keeney and ask your questions and tell him your concerns. He is usually very good at responding.
emdyal-The AA is in Cape Town. Arrived yesterday.
The AA should be in Cape Town for a least a week. I will let the board know when it sails for Ghana. Should then take about 10-12 days to reach to Ghana.

majicathome-I don't think I misspelled he name in the e-mail I sent to him. It's a typo in my post here.
wzebra33-I just said I was a shareholder. I did not specify the company so he probably assumed that I was a Addax shareholder. He did not mention ERHC Energy.
Response to my questions from Jean Claude Grandur:
My question:
Are you still looking to get an ROO at a better price this quarter
Mr Grandur's answer:
We are actively looking to get a ROO prior to the Aban Abraham. The cost consideration is the most important one. No one can predict how long the present crisis may last and I must make sure that we get out with no damages. The management of Addax Petroleum is fully aware that a nice discovery in JDZ will help to boost our share price. We work in this direction.
My Question:
When you begin drilling will you also go in a horizontal direction after drilling down to better evalulate the prospects of a well
Mr Grandur's answer:
I let the COO to answer to your last question.
I see from his e-mail that he sent a copy of the e-mail to several people at Addax. Hopefully I will get an answer to this second question.

TopShelf-I don't know how to find it. It's not listed on vesseltracker.com as far as I can tell. From my communications with Vanco Energy if it is not already in Capetown it should be there in the next couple of days
petemantx-Hopefully Jeff Mitchell will respond as he has several times to my questions. Please post his reply. You might want to forward his reply to Dan Keeney also,
petemax-Why don't you e-mail Jeff Mitchell at Vanco Energy aad ask him this question. Jeff has answered several on my questions about the AA. I have posted the answers on the board. It might be good if a question came from someone else.
jmitchell@vancoenergy.com
Update on AA from Vanco Energy:
The Abraham will arrive on 12 Jan or a couple days later - it was south of Madagascar Friday, traveling approx 240 miles per day. There will be a layover in Cape Town of at least a week (perhaps more, depending on requirements for final commissioning). Then - off to Ghana
My comments (Not from Vanco)
Based on Google Earth is appears to be a less than 3000 miles
I estimate about 10 - 12 days from Capetown to Gulf of Guniea at 240 miles per day.

Question for the Oil experts on the board.
When Addax/Sinopec use the AA or ROO in the JDZ will they drill straight down and then go horizontal to evalulate the well.
tryoty-Have you been successful at finding the AA on vesseltracker?? It should be about 1000 miles from Capetown.
