Third, response from Ms. Buks...(Buks..laughable)
Didn't even have the profession courtesy/wherewithal to spell my name properly.
Deborah Buks <dbuks@wardcc.com> wrote:
Dear Mr. Seiber,
I can certainly appreciate your feelings on the
matter. In fact, I've not ignored your email, but
rather have been diligently working to find out more,
based on your correspondence. At this point, no one
in the company has any knowledge of any market
manipulation of any kind, and we are equally
disappointed by the share price, as I'm sure you can
imagine.
We are in the final stages of the new website and
shareholder update. I know shareholders feel a great
sense of urgency to hear any news. Unfortunately, the
developments under way are negotiations with partners,
which are conducted under extremely strict
confidentiality agreements. That being the case, I
cannot say anything more than that those negotiations
are occurring.
I suspect this week my efforts toward completing the
shareholder communication will once again be disrupted
by having to deal with rumors in the media. Negative
press is not what the company needed, and I've been
working hard to turn that around, and had made good
progress.
In the future, please be assured that I always respond
to investor inquiries, as your fellow shareholders
will confirm. However, if I'm out of town, or
committed to several client meetings, I may not be
able to give you as an immediate response as you'd
prefer, especially if I need to research the matter,
confer with legal counsel and reach management at a
time when there are extreme time pressures as they
meet with the partner firms to negotiate JOAs.
Please forgive me, now, if my tone is less than you'd
expect, but I am very disappointed that we may face
another image setback when in fact the management has
taken us this far forward toward the company's vision.
Sincerely,
Deborah Buks

I wasn't going to bother but...
I guess for every ten people that you really don't care for there's usually at least one, here's hoping there's more, that still deserves courtesy. Even if you don't know who that may be.
So, I'm gonna post four emails sent/rec'd last week btwn myself, the company and what I deem the appropriate authorities in matters such as these. The last time I did something like this I was immediately sorry I had done so.
But that just goes back to that one good person theory.
Lou
Spec: Good man! Life's not all about what you wamt.em
Spec: Me neither! It's like I've said, I came in for a reason and I'm not leaving without that which I came for coming to fruition. I've not had much come my way in life. So now's the time, or not. If not, fine! But this kid's gonna take his chance now. Seeing as how, if nothing else, I aint got many more coming.
Best to you all, Bk56
At worst, everyone's still going to make a decent piece of change on this relatively soon. At best, most will become wealthy, to varying degrees, in three months to three years IMO. Could we, who haven't, have put our money elsewhere and bemoaned not doing so? Sure! But then again 20/20 hindsight's a wonderful thing.
Look at it this way. Those who may have put their money elsewhere, thinking they'd be slick and play the odds in the meantime, could've lost a good portion of what they have here. Aside from possibly loosing that scratch this baby could've just as well taken off a few weeks ago as a few weeks from now. Then how'd ya feel!
After peeling enough layers off the onion and finding what I truly believe will work, I tend to stay put. It seems, at least in my life, that the more one vascillates (sp?) the less certain things become. In this case I feel I could've just as easily screwed myself much worse elsewhere playing games than accumulating what little I can here.
But, to each his/her own. "That's why they play the game."
Take care all, Bk56
Darn shame how this has beaten everyone down.em
Snap: If you've got a better half of any kind you're lucky to still lay claim to any. It's A Good Day!
Bk
OT: There ya go Bruno, you tell 'em!..em
rancho: Thanks, didn't know I had so many.em
Snap: That's 'say', but you knew that...em
Snap: Then sat thank you and.... close your hand!
rancho: FWIW the last two were great and enjoyable to read. No pumping necessary on this issue. It's either one of two things. The greatest 007 super spy, btw destined to fail that being the case, scam of all time. Or that which it is perported to be by any and all sources available to the human finger tips. A potential aborration of near mythical proportions.
That being if the hand can be and is played out to the fullest of course.
Bk56
aj: Better yet is the TNOG story. While supposedly fending off lawsuits and SEC investigations it still managed to pull it's draws up from .02 to .054 in the past week.
Those who are 'In The Know' KNOW what they are waiting for. That being as sure as they possibly can be as to the exact net amount of proceeds they are wagering on. With that known, bets are placed in earnest. Irrespective of whatever drawbacks, TNOG has been evaluated to have a precise price tag of sorts.
I'm not refering to what we've been awarded or accepted (of what all KNOW is a gem), but what we're going to have to give up to get it. I don't give a crap who knows, or espouses to know, what around here. We're going to give up something. I personally do not believe whatever it is to be as nefarious in word nor deed as some would have us believe. If so I don't believe we'll wind up on the wrong side of the coin for numerous reasons. Therefore, albeit after a tussle, garnering more for us in the end.
Regardless of what WE think, things seem to be moving right along. In fits and starts maybe, but nonetheless with many more future FITS to it's credit in the end.
"There's your sign.".... Grins to all!
Bk56
SH: In that case shoot me now, PLZ!em
Homeport: Great news for very poor people that are probably destined to remain so for still awhile to come. At least this is some consolation for them not to be so miserable and fearful.

rancho: Truckers know it as 'being in the rockin chair'. No worries of what lays ahead or what's coming up from behind. Your fellow drivers have you covered.
All ya gotta do is keep it btwn the lines and stay awake.
Big things are a comin'! But it's been hangin' onto that nut like grim death for so long that no one will know how tom act when it does head north. Heck, it may just scare the livin' crap smooth outta some.
Once dealt with, one's worries are usually replaced with others that stem from the cure of the prior.
And so it goes....Bk56
Homeport: Ps: It seems Nigeria would prefer, if not a caveat, participation by concerns that are at least partnered with if not native to those in Nigeria. This is forward looking, if memory serves, to encorporate, strengthen, and gain heightened autonomy over that which there country is built on.
Seeing as how this mindset encompasses everything from production and refining to brokering and transport I would think Chrome Oil, owning 51% of ERHC Energy(?), would be in an excellent position to do two things. Grandfather in its cousin from across the pond for exploration and production on the one hand, while picking up the refining, wholesale and transport itself on the other.
Sir Offor, a favored son if not national hero of sorts, gets to double dip as his fellow countrymen nod their approval, as all not only envision unquestionable dominance in the region, but the continent as a whole.
Disclaimer: I did not sleep at a Holiday Inn last night nor am I the Oracle of Delphi, so the preceding was naturally JMHO.
Hopefully that gave back a fraction of that which, unbeknownst to you, you've given me and others I'm sure. I for one certainly considered you the best of 'The Blog'. Sorry, kind of a back handed compliment.
Take care, Bk56
Digger: Nope, just seemed the best short handle off the top of my head that happened to be a coinkydink, as they say back home, to boot. For the off handed feedback I've gotten to some of my posts, has me checking myself at times, I'm surprised you didn't get hateful for me screwing with you over a pet name a dear departed one gave you as a child.
Ya never know! Have a good one otj today...Bk
Hi, lander: Sorry if the feel good of that optomistic closing was lost on me after the lackluster build up. I'm a H.S. grad, O.T.R. tto and not educated as to any and all chart theories. So it comes down to, insofar as I'm concerned, intent, contacts, contracts and #s in that order.
That said, as opposed to your obvious misgivings as to this being highly SPECULATIVE, I can only in good conscience advise you to sell your position in this or any offer you feel as ill at ease with. No extra charge for sarcasm in particular as there's none for the advice.
Have a good day- Bk
id: Coleman hasn't sold yet though, has he?em
Hey S-hocker: As lude, pardon me ladies and whiney men, as this analogy may be, here's one you can run by idcc.
Does a prostitute or any really good looking gal, that's willing to work it a little for that matter, need to have a blessed cent to her name to get where she needs/wants to go?
Absolutely not! If any given creature or entity has what another needs or wants accommodations are made, it's simple. The pretty, willing and or talented can always catch a ride. Even though it's as the old saying goes, 'Azz, gas or grass...Nobody rides for free!'. That's fine, seeing as how ERHC's got enough junk in the trunk to barter for her fine self to be driven around in style by gentlemen from all the best families. Each anxiously awaiting their turn as not to be forgotten. Heh, heh.
Bk
rancho: IMHO that both, or anything likewise for that matter, are unethical and immoral at best and those that employ methods of that sort should be sanctioned. If acts are accomplished through subversive means altogether perhaps a higher penalty/fine is warranted. However those that conceive, initiated and accomplish same with malice of forethought and whose sole intent and purpose being injurious in nature should be jailed. This whether their design was to the detriment of a person/entity in particular or the process in general.
Sorry, but I'm old school, and not cliche' old school either.
Unlike the mind set that created the 'paper tiger' of the .com era, which we're still recovering from, I believe in investing.

Hey balance: Hope you, or most anyone else for that matter, doesn't mind my two cents on the issue from the viewpoint of a relative beginner. It's JMO but I feel, given virtually limitless revenue possibilities IF things keep coming up aces and hand is played to the hilt, that the split will not only be in our favor but possibly several Xs over in the next few years. If not, again this hypothesis based on most positive, no reason not to, outlook, ERHE could wind up at a google like pps. With ERHC's outlandishly healthy cut of prospectively, btwn JDZ and Nigerian and STP EEZs, 50BBls of oil plus half again as much $ in gas revenues in the coming years I can hardly see it otherwise.
The U.S. gov't is obviously, going to earlier and persistant doubts and questions as to regional security, four square behind this effort politically, financially and militarily to no small or equivical end. And it is by no means on a marginal basis that it is in this nations best interests to do so for reasons of paramount importance that simply cannot be satiated elsewhere.
With that said, I can even envision Nigeria, given friendships/alliances btwn they and us flurish and strenghten, being lured or driven away from under the auspice of OPEC. As giant a leap as that may appear on the surface, it's MHO that it will almost if not altogether become a necessity of sorts, if not strictly speaking, for both parties.
Well, that's it. Long winded for a 'newbie', eh? If nothing else look at it as I discribed it to 'digdeep'....
Cheap entertainment!
Hope your mending well, FWIW, and not going too, ERHE, stir crazy.
Bk56
Digger: Thanks for the 'props'. FWIW I owe any lucid, let alone intelligent or insightful, thoughts on this issue to, God notwithstanding (although never in reality), two things in particular and one in general.
In particular to a good friend that virtually pushed me into this investment. Without him I'd not have this plum as a spectacular jumping off point, no pump, just fact, for starters. Nor would I have gotten my feet wet again in something I felt I've missed out on. Making a good honest living and retirement by DD and investing in various markets. The curse, so to speak, of a blue collar mentality.
Then there's what I've come by in particular from those, most of whom are here at IHUB, I've come to call the 'Good Guys' at RB. With few exceptions in the last two months, owned ERHE for three, I owe the vast majority of my knowledge on this company and o&g in general to them. I hope none of them whom I frequently praise or thank for their efforts take it as bootlicking or disengenuous altogether. That's why I try to do my part by attempting to keep things up beat and positive if not strickly on topic.
The one thing in general, through living in various parts of the country and traveling the rest with eyes wide open, has been an extremely educational life. We'll leave that one alone, especially since it would appear I'm rambling anyway. Sorry, but what the heck, it's cheap entertainment!
Be well, Bk
dubs: Not very long by any means but if I remember correctly the time limit of mid-June, pushed to the 25th because of unforseen (possibly Anadarko bailing on Block 3) considerations, was for COs to pick up or submit bids on NEEZ. Whichever it is I'm 95+% sure it's not awards date.
Hope that helps some FWIW. Have a good one.
Bk56
balance: Seems as though alot of folks are rethinking their decissions on who to bring to the prom this year, doncha know? They're dumpin' the little boney chicks left and right!
PXD makes at least two, known, suitors thusfar that think highly of their prospects of coming away, assured of a pleasurable go of it up front, ruinously satisfied with the very well endowed, quite matronly in fact, sole escort in the bush as opposed to two in the hand this year.
Many things in life, many more important than this, are hard to accept at times. Even the times we have the utmost faith in what we honestly believe and know to be fact.
Doubt, by any means, breeds all manner of weakness.

SloJon: Yet another fair arguement for isolationism.em
BSK: Great post, you go mom! Those are mostly my views exactly. If you don't believe me, and give a squat, check out my last couple or three on RB (Raging Bull). Just don't linger too long on that which may distract or offend otherwise. Have a great weekend!
