Looks like one Company is still on track in Kentucky albeit a retarded start schedule due to the larger economy/funding picture on Wall Street. Gov. Beshear is still on-board replete with talk of "whatever" it takes:

At the State Level:
Gov. Beshear is overdue with his comprehensive State Energy Plan due out in September. He is down playing "renewables" and is still a strong supporter of clean coal for Kentucky.
Jeff, all I can say to you is I have done my homeowrk about said funds.......interpret that as you wish.
The key as has been discussed here greately are that State funds for many reasons, (i.e.: acceptance, preception, investors, bankability just to name a few) are of extreme importance, extreme importants and the negotiations with the State go on.......as of yesterday, check for yourself.
We are still looking at all possibilites concerning this company. For now the balls are in the air and in their court......
Sorry Gator but your memory is a lot fuzzy:) The $625,000 is part of the Coal Severance Money the state grants back to the Counties that get a % share of that Severance. Rick Newman (the County Judge) who has been involved with Brent Yonts (State Rep) from the beginning worked out a deal in a Bill sent to the Governors Office that was just passed through and sent to public records with the Sec of State and stamped. The $625,000 is important as it signifies State interest in Kentucky Fuel Associates overall. The $625,000 remains KFS's to keep (it must be used as the have used it, for development of CTL) if the State does not I repeat does not give KFA any more money. The original deal recently repeated in the 8K reminds us that FFI/NSOL have an agreement that states KFA must come up with $2,000,000 of which the $625,000 is part of. If in fact KFA gets $2M+ from the state then and only then do they have to return the $625,000 to the County of Muhlenberg. If the state passes the money remains KFA's to transfer as they have to help off-set their funding requirements to FFI/NSOL for the $2M. If KFA receives funding from other sources then they now only have to come up with the difference of the $625,000 and the $2M, I.e. $1,375.000. In any event KFA still has to come up with $2M for their deal with FFI/NSOL.
There is a lot going on here, more than meets the eye. Do your research.

Many people have been asking me for an update. Be advised I am still working on all fronts, and I mean all. I apologize to any and all who think I am being non-communicative, but after being thretend, cajoled and bewildered my cards are close to my vest at this time. As some of you may know I'm a researcher, activist, and compulsively vigorous when it comes to duplicitous behavior. My detractors only make me more resolute in my resolve as I consider them spurious, and meritless when they only rant, and enrage themselves to intimidate in a malignamt maner and only try to obfuscate material events. When I ask pertinent, pointed, and varified bona fide questions I expect honor/integrity, it has been woefully lacking in the past. Shareholder anamosity toward certain company insiders will not be squelched, but certainly the last actionable event by the company as public notification has served to mutually benefit our cause of action. To read current events in a cautionary but compelling, if supported, step in the right direction would be prudent. Don't be mistaken albeit, following the money as I've continued to do, is paramount and key to this little engine that could success. Kentucky is the "linch pin" event that will springboard opportunity.
Yes, I'm still here. Working on it.
See the following. I specifically asked Patrick Herda the followng question directly in an E-Mail in April and he has refused to answer it. It has been excluded from this 10Q. Why has it been excluded from the 10Q? What say you.......
Excerpt from my E-Mail to him:
Question 3.) Where did the money come from for the following two statements? Please elaborate, as my understanding was the monies from KFA were being used to fund Shaw?
Also a follow-on; Shareholders still have not been informed of how much money was given to Shaw, how much was it?
In 2007, we paid $100,000 to Westinghouse Plasma Corporation (WPC) for engineering services related to the design engineering of a Westinghouse Plasma Gasification system intended for an FFI synthetic diesel facility.
In February 2008, FFI paid Shaw Stone & Webster (Shaw), a division of The Shaw Group Inc., for engineering services that will provide a technical basis for a 400 Tonne per day Coal-To-Liquid (CTL) Ultra-Clean Diesel fuel production facility in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.
Hi again Stockrock58. Please contact me again at:

I don't know why, but there is a block here, I didn't put it up?
Please use a diffrent E-Mail Address to contact me if you didn't get a reply from my above listed E-Mail Address. I have contacted everyone who has contacted me. I'm sure it would be benefical if we talked:)
Hi Stockrock58. Will you please contact me at:
5years@live.com
Thanks
For those of you who have cotacted me. I'm working on it. Talk with you soon. Thanks
Walker, you can still call me if you wish. I understand, been there, got the T-shirt.
Yes, I mentioned him long ago. He is an Engineer who is actively, and I mean actively involved with the aspects of Design/Build and Site Specifics along with Garry Sparks of KFA. He was on loan from the "Texas" connection Worldwide Strategic Partners, remember them? The address the TO letter was addressed to in Washington D.C. is the address listed on Google as Multipartners/Worldwide Strategic Partners in D.C.
Go back and read my posts from a few months ago till just of late. This is everything I have been saying. All my information has been gathered from available public sourses. The one new thing I picked up on here is the "guesstimation" of the initial plant cost of around $133M, and the 2011 date for Diesel to start flowing.
Now how does it feel to have the company "aquired" out from under us at $1.50 an outstanding share or less? As I've said before, this process if established is worth Billions. I sure hope, we as shareholders are not left in the dust.
Lets look toward the 10Q, some new PR's and funding news out of Kentucky. The share price will tell us what we need to know.
Just review my previous posts, before I started asking shareholders to contact me. I was up to speed then and I still am.
As I have expressed to most of you, this is a strategy that I'm sure the company will respond too. It's i all our best interests.
Dreamer, please explain what you mean by "shareholder revolt"? I've never said that publicly or privately?
I have explained clearly what I am all about, and as a shareholder I have that right, as you have yours and your opinion. Thanks for your reply, I understand your hesitation. As I explained to JohnBoy, everyone has their own investment strategy.
JohnBoy, I thank you for your response. I understand everyone has their own stratagy for investing, mine is all about shareholder value, company feduciary responsibility, and shareholders rights.
As I responded to Walker, you will be placed in that same catagory.
By the way, do you still think the company will sell for $1.50 per share? Is that a good value for you?
Walker , I don't know who you are or why you are attacking me. For the record I E-Mailed you with my personal business telephone number and extension. I will still be happy to talk with you, just call me? If you do not wish to call, that is your perogative, I understand. Since I don't know who yo are, I have only noted in my notes that you seem to have no interest contacting me, that is the list you are on, but as you have requested you are removed. I wish you well, thank you for your response.
OK JohnBoy. I'm not sure why you are being beligerant as I have never been to you. If you don't want to be part of what we are doing as shareholders thats fine, I'll put you on the list of 4 now with your name added who don't want to have the company review things with the General Shareholders. Oh, and one other thing. I am quite well informed.....thank you for your response.
For everyone else, thank you for your responses, very helpful and now we can move forward. Talk with you soon.
JohnBoy11, I Inadvertently left you off the list of those who have not responded to me. The list was you, Technoman, and MLM. the only ones from this Boars not to respond. MLM has already told me publickly why he didn't. So what's your reason?
I invite you personally to E-Mail me at:
5years@live.com
You seem to have a lot of information? We'd love to have you join us moving forward. What say you......
MLM, you are the only one who has not contacted me from this Board? I have been reluctant to talk to you in the past as you know, but I am extending you a personal invitation to E-Mail me at:
5years@live.com
Walker, I've afforded you every courtesy. I will mark you down in the group of 3 that are not interested. Thank you for your response.
I have had 4 out of all the E-Mails I have recieved bounce back. If I have not contacted you by phone or E-Mail, that may be the reason. I have contacted everyone so far.
I have had 2 people suggest this is a conspiracy?? It is absolutely not, I am all about "shareholders rights",and intend to exercise them. That is my only Agenda, nothing more.
Please contact me if you are a "for real" long shareholder at:
5years@live.com
It is important.
You have E-Mailed me more than anyone else, and I have E-Mailed you back every time. I have E-Mailed everyone that has E-Mailed me. If you have not recieved my E-Mail then list an alternate E-Mail and I will reply.
Hi All. I have contacted everyone back so far. Thanks for your interest. If you have questions or concersn just E-mail me, I'll respond back by Telephone or by E-Mail.
If you know anyone else that has shares, have them contact me ASAP. On this Board or any other Board. Again my E-Mail is:
5years@live.com
P.S. A few have been sceptical, I understand, this is an odd way to ask for information, but unfortunately, it is one of only a few ways for shareholders to communicate with each other. For the most part the majority of you have been very helpful, thank you. It is important, so please contact me and tell others on other Boards to contact me as well, I think it will be worth everyones while. I'm doing all the work, al you have to do is respond.
Looking forward to talking with you.
I've contacted you.
Calm down....I'll comtact you, and yes it's important. I have had a lot of responses. If you have not E-mailed me yet please do so, all shareholders will be interested in this. Thank you.
5years@live.com
I will contact you tomorrow. Thank you.
E-mai me at the E-Mail Address I have provided here, and I will respond tomorrow. Thank you.
If any of you know people on any other Message Board, please let them know about this effort. It would be very, very helpful. I only post here. Thanks Again!
Thanks to all of you who have responded so far. This is not a joke, I am very serious. If you know anyone else who has common stock, have them contact me ASAP. For those of you who are sceptics, I understand, but if you are interested please contact me, I am a for "real" long common stock shareholder.
Again, contact me at the following E-mail address:
5years@live.com
For those of you who I have already contacted back, thank you for your support, and as I said in my reply, I'll be looking forward to talking with you.
To Regualr Shareholders:
If you own shares of NSOL please contact me ASAP at:
5years@live.com
Importance-HIGH
P.S. If you know anyone else who owns shares of NSOL and they are just regular investors like us, please have them contact me ASAP at the above E-Mail Address.

$5 million fund aims to stimulate private investment in new energy technologies
FRANKFORT, KY – Gov. Steve Beshear announced today the launch of Kentucky New Energy Ventures, a state program that administers $5 million in public funds for investment in promising renewable and alternative energy companies in the commonwealth. The program, established legislatively under the name, “Kentucky Alternative Fuel and Renewable Energy Fund Program,” was created by the state’s General Assembly under House Bill 1 during the 2007 Extraordinary Session.
“With oil prices now over $100 a barrel, we are reminded of the need to pursue new technologies that promise energy independence for our nation,” said Gov. Beshear. “The Kentucky New Energy Ventures program and other energy initiatives across the state demonstrate that Kentucky can and will play a leading role in the areas of energy innovation, efficiency and environmental stewardship.”
The New Energy Ventures program is designed to: (1) Grow Kentucky-based alternative fuel and renewable energy companies to promote statewide, innovation-driven economic growth; (2) Stimulate private investment in Kentucky-based alternative fuel and renewable energy enterprises; (3) Expand the alternative fuel and renewable energy knowledge base, talent force and industry in Kentucky; (4) Develop an alternative fuel and renewable energy resource network to build the technical and business capacity of entrepreneurs through informal and formal strategic support; and (5) Build statewide awareness of the economic development opportunities offered by Kentucky’s alternative fuel and renewable energy industry.
“The successful execution of this venture fund targeted exclusively to new and renewable energy companies is another bold step in Kentucky’s quest to build a competitive and sustainable entrepreneurial economy, which the governor has been moving forward since he first took office in December,” said Kris Kimel, President of The Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation.
The program’s investments will target high-growth potential, early-stage Kentucky-based companies developing and commercializing alternative fuel and/or renewable energy technologies. Funds will be provided in the form of relatively small “seed” grants and – primarily – through equity investments of varying amounts. Applications for grants and investments from the program will be accepted from Kentucky-based companies having eligible technologies beginning March 12, 2008, through April 10, 2008.
“This program is designed for companies that have unique and competitive products and technologies that have or will have intellectual property protection,” said Economic Development Cabinet Secretary John Hindman. “Companies applying for these grants and investments must demonstrate that their technologies are commercially viable and that they can lead a successful business venture.”
Managed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, through the Department of Commercialization and Innovation (DCI), the program will be administered by the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation, an independent non-profit company. An application and guidelines are available at http://www.startupkentucky.com.
It's always good to restate things after new news comes out. when this first appeared everyone was so sure it mnet "not" much. Please read the last three paragraphs again carefully. as you will see, the state intends to "partner" with thier selections through equity investments of varyong amounts. So lets put together what we already know. Muhlenberg County intends to give an approved amount of "free"money to KFA,
(i.e. $625,000), KSTC intends to give up to $30,000 more of "free" money by June of 2008, and lastly as you will read below HBI of the Special Session with language specifically written into the Bill by KFA for the Bill and its requirements, again as previously discussed, will let aside $5M for thie technologies referenced through the already reviewed RFP's in the hands of KSTC. Now lets extrapolate. Political careers of Rep. Rocky adkins and Brent Yonts will get a NItrice Oxcide Boost if and "now" when they pull this off, and so far they are pulling this off. so I suggest that KFA/FFI/NSOL will indeed recieve a huge windfall of again "equity investment", (can you say $2.5M+?), that will put them on the map. From there its not a leap to suggest they will garner interest of other players, including the on-going IA proposal and force a higher buy-out price, or if I had it my way "go it alone". But to be totally realistic, NSOL will need to have not only all their ducks in a row concerning Design and Development, but if they can't prove "other" substantial "deep pocket" money to the state Kentucky prior to the award, the award probably won't fly. Hence the reason why the language was written to cryptically in HB410. So, again hold your water, cross your legs and arms, and lets see if this puppy flies. Rounding third, but the center fielder has quite an arm............
Check your Mailbox
Re-read the second half of my Post#17164....to put this together.
Thanks Doc...I had put a call into Mr. Yonts earlier and he was out and I just got back and was planning to call again so I appreciate that.
Actually while you were doing that I was following up on another lead I had. Further corroberation of the facts....
It happens, that there is a 3'rd party corporation involved in Kentucky concerning grants and investments for the state that creates another fund for revenue and re-investment. Its all legal, its all above-board and available to the public. What I will divulge here is that I just spoke to the individual within KSTS (Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation), and he confirmed what I wrote in one of my previous posts about HB1 and the RFP's submitted to the state in 2007, etc., etc., etc. In fact KFA/FFI/NSOL along with about 12 other companies are as we speak under review for funding. this is how it works in this case, the grants are for now more than $30,000, but once selected fr a grant the state then will "invest" in this particular case $2+M as a "partner", that will actually gain revenue as I stated above (he was not allowed to review any detail beyond this at this time). If KFA/FFI/NSOL is chosen, then what he told me is basically funds will be setn aside to repeat the process with their chosen partner(s) over and over again. I was invited to call again, for further review as decisions were made. It will all be publicly announced on their website June 1,2008, obviously coinsides with the date Mr. Yonts gave you Doc. Keep your legs crossed girls, the pie-is-in-the-oven and its bakin up a money tree.............
I completely agree with your frustration that management should, and through: 1.) Feduciary responsibility and responsiveness, and 2.) Shareholder Value, they certainly should advise us of events moving forward. I do believe, that answers are on the horizon: 1.) Either NSOL will be taken over for what we have been told, $1.50 for outstanding sharea by IA, or 2.) NSOL will receive much needed monies from Kentucky and with their help go it alone, or 3.) The company will fail.
I for one will ask for and put into motion a tacit plan of action to envoke answers by June. It is not my intent to upset you, but it seems I am one of the few on this Board who actually goes out and tries to do some "homework". My homework assignmenta are not yet complete and I hope when they are, I will be much better informed.
