you should check all the recent buyers of FARE
Many believe with 22 patents in 22 countries in an emerging market for moto meters that WM has a bright future! Might be wise to stay long until we know. IMO
stay tuned.... Maybe you have never sold anything...customers need to have desire, find right fit/ conditions to buy, get commitments and then fund it. Sales cycles sometimes take a long time- that's just the way it is.
give me a break, iphone is most expensive phone in market and yet they are world's largest company. Price/ capability is important to most. The Moto Meter is targeted to Airport Area where APP support is most needed. Watch for news soon!
emerging market, takes time to develop...I look for block buster news...IMO

World Moto Signs MOU for New Moto-Meter™ Distributor in Sri Lanka
World Moto Signs MOU for New Moto-Meter™ Distributor in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka represents a $100 million market for Moto-Meter™ sales
NEW YORK, NY -- February 22, 2016 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire -- World Moto, Inc. (OTC: FARE) (BERLIN: WM7) (BERLIN: A1J8SY) ("World Moto" or the "Company"), a leader in advanced solutions for motorcycle taxis and on-demand transport, today announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding for distribution of the Moto-Meter™ throughout Sri Lanka.
The MOU authorizes the Sri Lankan distributor to immediately begin marketing the Moto-Meter™ in the assigned territory as an authorized partner of World Moto, and allows him to purchase the Moto-Meter™ at a specified price, with preferred lead times for orders of initial stock. The distributor has influence on the boards of two major Sri Lankan transportation providers, VGO and Airport Express, and intends to provide an integrated, trusted solution for the entire Sri Lankan market by combining the strengths of both smartphones and the Moto-Meter™.
Sri Lanka is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, with a population of more than 21 million people and an estimated 735,000 three wheeled auto rickshaws as of 2012 (Source: Sunday Observer). While most of these vehicles do not currently have meters, efforts are underway to implement meters and they are becoming increasingly common. The Moto-Meter™ offers unique advantages over alternatives due to its secure, anti-tampering features that reassures consumers, as well as its portability, ruggedized design, and ability to be integrated with smart phone applications and thus offer consumers a way to preferentially select trustworthy drivers equipped with the Moto-Meter™.
Paul Giles, CEO of World Moto, stated, "The Moto-Meter is a truly unique product that blends the distinct usage profiles of both meters and smartphones, and it is this unique proposition that is continuing to win praises and commitments from the companies who contact us. The opportunities we are creating today with these distribution agreements are the infrastructure that will propel the Company to record growth over the coming year."
Why Patents worth $1 Billion:
> Moto Taxi market is larger than Auto Taxi
> patents in 22 countries- 40% of market
> MM is App Compliant- works with Lyft, UBER, anyone
> Moto Taxi revenue could be many, many billions over life of patents
> CONTROL MARKET SHARE- the name of the game
Also, MM works on Elephant, Donkey, Bike, Boat, Ferry, Auto Taxis!
Read the patents- you will be impressed!
Question:
> Does WM have a 'deep pocket partner' to market MM?...or go it alone with $340K
> or does WM close doors and sell 'shell'? - which has little value due to debt
> or does WM sell 'patents' which some value at $1 Billion plus?
22 patents 22 countries that could be worth $1B to $3B over the next 16 years.
After spending $7M developing/ filling and having 22 patents in 22 countries approved why would they sell shell?. They are raising $340,000 to continue operations for 12 months. Get real.
What about company debt? So you are saying Newco would be a Moto Meter Marketing company. Patent value is determined on what someone is willing to pay to control MM market worldwide for years. I would put a value of $1B on patents.
Yes, thanks, I appreciate all your DD, you do a great job in presenting alternative thoughts to mine....nothing wrong with diverse ideas.
You can't deny meters are being mandated in India and Sri Lanka
100 meters nine months ago...could be 1,000,000 now!
where have you been? UBER is installing meters in India!
works in Sri Lanka and India- they have mandated MM. Next Brazil, Africa, Asia, Europe, etc. Of course most every country wants METERs on Taxis and Moto taxis is much bigger than Auto taxis. get Real!
Personally I would sell patents for $1B to $3B to Lyft or UBER. They could turn patents into many of $billions over the next 17 plus years.
And why would they sell shell when they have 22 patents in 22 countries- which is worth a lot of money....try again you make no sense!
13M buys and 1M sells
What don't you understand about "temporary" ? We all know they ran out of money but are now current. Give me a break- we don't know what has happened since July 2017..
Very nice GREEN DAY
Good move...sometimes Risk Stocks happen in a big way!...or don't, who knows.
It's all about the potential of sales in 22 countries that WM has patents. The market is just emerging now in Sri Lanka and India....soon maybe in Brazil! Better buy some stock now like PNNCHINPENY2THPNTHUS!
sold for $40,400 less debt!
The selling stockholders are all non-U.S. persons who acquired the 808,000 shares of common stock in a Regulation S private placement transaction that closed in June 2008 at a price of $0.05 per share and a total of $40,400.
shells with debt are worth $25,000!....WM market value is $450,000!
Crazy, Crazy, Crazy...WM has 22 patents in 22 countries worth IMO $3 Billion....get real!
Anticipated expenses for next twelve months don't include funds for marketing....? either they are selling patents or anticipate a partner. IMO

It will be interesting to learn what the WM business plan is now. They appear to longer market MM and appear to be raising money as a support organization- creating a support/ training staff.
why is that?
R/S ONLY makes sense if company is rocking with a contract or great news...without good news R/S is suicide.
Col, you are on a roll!
10q is CURRENT. WM raising $280k for coming 12 months- hardly out of business
Seems Paul may be getting close to announcing what is going on with WM.
Joe, how do you know what's going on? The WM Web site is dead....right?
easy, emerging market, just starting in Sri Lanka/ India. As you mentioned look to Brazil and their zillions of moto taxis. WM ran out money to hang in there- my guess they are selling patents or turning over manufact. to partner. If you're not a believer in patents- sell your stock!
so what product does WM sell with no Web site (now owned by another company) or phone number ?
Someone is taking over MM!
The WM company is dead, new company forming IMO. New company may be a support company to whom ever markets MM (UBER, etc.)
and yet they are hiring a training staff, building product...they plan to have a partner IMO
WM Web site now owned by another company (we think) so they will need a new Web site reflecting their NEW Marketing Plan. Companies change plans all the time, selling MM didn't work out for them- they ran out of money as market emerges. No big deal!
They still own patents an 22 countries- unless they sold patents.
