Mystery buyer for Hooters?

PK,
You mention IMPART, to me that is one of the more most impressive parts of the release. What PKTX has consistently managed to do is bring in some the leaders in the field of research to conduct their studies. They've managed to get others to do all the work for them.
Doubtful, I would guess big Pharma would not license out or share but it depends on what they specifically wanted the molecule for. If they only needed it for a very specific purpose then sharing is possible, but even then, not likely.
Another CEO form 4. He picked up another 250k. Over 80 million shares now. He owns over 30% of the company now.
Past and Present,
Totally agree. Again I love the stock activity but good trading days come and go. The patents and technology is what this is all about. And of course the fact that the company has zero debt and a low burn.
ADDENDUM 5-07-2019
On May 6th the company the announced the hiring of two IR firms, http://protokinetix.com/news/2019/may6/ Burdell Partners LLC and Murdock Capital Partners.
This is a welcome bit of news. First of all, these do not appear to be traditional IR firms, they are more like corporate advisers. Murdock is a merchant bank with a deep experienced team. https://www.murdockcapital.com/murdock-team
Advisory Board - Murdock Capital Partners
This looks like a firm that is grooming PKTX to take their story to institutions or help find them an appropriate suitor for the inevitable buy out.
Burdell Partners offers a wealth of services as well, https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/ed001931-f901-42e1-a9e2-ba7c5f167196/downloads/Burdell%20LLC.pdf?ver=1557175470961
They are plugged into a global network and also have an affiliation with a high level consulting firm. It would appear that Burdell is in the picture to help with international exposure and potentially helping explore the possibility of uplisting.
I've mentioned the parallels between CSBR and PKTX many times. This is yet one more example. CSBR brought on an IR firm in January of 2017, at the time their stock was trading at in the high 2's. Not long after the stock began trading higher and with increased volume. Just like PKTX, they had a great story and technology, they just needed a bigger audience. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I would imagine we will be seeing PKTX embarking on Trade shows, road show and media tours. This is just the next logical step in a company that is growing up.
PK Holder,
Great post. All the stock activity is great but the important thing to stay focused on is the molecule...it works! These stock bursts will come and go but the AAGP will keep and trucking and it hasn't failed yet.
I just saw Blair Crow's updated Seeking Alpha after yesterday's news. As usual he provides a sensible perspective on things.

In response to yesterday's positive news I've added to my most recent article. $pktx
Past and Present,
You've been a bit quiet lately.
I'm very pleased with the way the company is headed. I personally don't care when news comes out. I believe the whole point is that there is already enough news out to move the stock to much higher levels. This isn't an issue of news, it's an issue of new eyeballs.
Just took a quick look at Burdell. Uplisting services are one of their services. I think PKTX is thinking big.
This is potentially huge news. I've not had time to fully dig in but this likes they're ready to ratchet things up a notch. These are not traditional IR firms. These are more like legit corporate advisers. From the Murdock site "advises its corporate clients on all aspects of investment banking, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financing, management buy-outs and corporate divestitures"
Crawfors,
Nothing about this even resembles an orchestrated pump & dump. Sure there is a little over exuberance from a poster or two after a couple of good weeks. Pump and dumps don't have officers of the company buying millions of shares. This is just a classic biotech that has had a great technology but it has been flying under the radar. The SA article from a couple of weeks ago did nothing more than summarize all the years of work and potential this company has. https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/47797823-melikemsmallstocks/5296806-pktx-life-changing-science-life-changing-stock
Even though at times our new board members may get a bit excited and speculative, I welcome them. For too long, it's been the same conversation on this board with the same people. We're going to have up weeks and down weeks but at the end of the day I'm more interested in the next 12 months. With everything going on I believe this will be a huge one for all of us. And now that it's starting to get more attention from a broader audience, I doubt there's much time to buy this below .20.
A little perspective. PKTX is up 50% over the last 30 days on volume that is on average 4-5x average daily volume. I would love to see the stock continue to go up every day and end up at $20 by July, but in reality, we can all expect moves up, followed by days of consolidation. That is what has impressed me about this run is the fact is has been steady, no huge up days or huge down days. My point is we really don't want it to go up every day, we need to flat to slightly down days to allow for consolidation which will lead to a more sustained long term uptrend.
Of course it's great to see the volume and price increase but what I'm most encouraged by are all the bids stacking up and the fact that the stock has steadily been climbing rather than all in one big pop.
RedElphant,
Thanks for that info of "pktx has traded over 19 million shares and gone for under .06 to .10? that's a very strong few months" Makes you realize that this trend has been going on for a few months not just a couple of days. By the way, after today, it's not 19 million any more, now it's 20 million.
Past and Present,
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated
Welcome aboard red elephant. I'm another big follower of Blair Crow. I do think PKTX is his next CSBR
Welcome aboard red elephant. I'm another big follower of Blair Crow. I do think PKTX is his next CSBR
I might also add that PKTX is a real company and not a POS company like SHMP. So the upside will hold on this one.
FYI, I follow the SA writer on twitter. This is his latest post. Nothing earth shattering but informative. https://twitter.com/melikemsmallstx/status/1122652269894303745
AAGP is of course very complicated and I doubt any of us on this board can really understand how it works and what it really does. The epiphany for me was after a call I had with the CEO about a year ago. The way I think of AAGP now is very simplistic...AAGP allows cells to live longer. That's it, and that's all I need to know. Think about that though, that's all we need to know. Think of all the possibilities, they are truly limitless. That is what the latest Seeking Alpha reminded me of. Stem cells, cord blood, transplants, dermatology, bone marrow, retina, the list goes on and on. So for me it's all simple, INCREASES CELL LIFE! I don't really care how many shares trade tomorrow, next week or next month. This will happen without a doubt, but given what they have going now I think it will be sooner rather than later.
Too bad today is Passover. I'm sure we would have continued are run if it weren't for the holiday. Slow day on almost all my stocks.
The protoKinetix website is pretty lousy but one thing on there that is never talked about but really interests me in the potential they have in dermatology, http://protokinetix.com/applications/dermatology/
I'm no expert but this seems like a big market and one that may not even require FDA approval. I don't recall the company ever talking about dermatology studies. Does anyone have any insight?
I don't know who it is but I've been following him for a few years. I bought CSBR on his recommendation and made a bundle. He doesn't hit all of them but I've made good money on most of his picks. I also follow him on twitter. That's how I get most of his stuff.
This is the best article I've seen yet on PKTX. I'm long, so of course I agree but I really believe it's time for PK to begin to get noticed. I was fortunate to be a buyer of CSBR under $2 and this does feel the same.

He's about the only one
I read it. I follow this guy, he's had several good picks over the last couple of years. He made me a ton on CSBR. He's almost always finding thinly traded stocks that he believes the market has missed. BURG is confusing to me. I would think a Nasdaq stock like this would be traded much more and much higher. Any input on that from some of you long term holders?
I'll put it my two cents on this one. No way of knowing yet what the value of a buyout may be at this point. If you've owned many biotech start ups, which regardless of how long PKTX has been around, it's still a start up. Remember it was dead until a few years ago when Smith revived. Gauging by the trials, tests, research and MTA's, I would guess their aiming for a 12-18 month range to be acquired. The molecule has huge potential but we all just have to wait and see just how huge it is.
I agree with this guy, our patience will be rewarded. By the way, I've been loving the videos.

Clearly this guy has owned the stock. Most of you have been around a lot longer than me. At least my pain has only last 2 years. By the way, whatever happened to the drink?

Interesting SA article mentioning LOOP this week. Anyone else out there?

I've all but given up on this one. I still love the idea but I tend to agree with this guy. Just way too much dilution for this to ever really make a run.
