SuneQ assets
I'm pro SuneQ but it feels like they were trying to buy the whole world while defaulting their loans. I'm just trying to make sense of their assets.
-650,000 shares of preferred stock sold for $1000 per share raising $626 million. Source=last year's 10-Q
Have they already spent this?
WSIP, this billion dollar investment vehicle warehouse built with Goldman and others. So...Suneq appears to be behind on their debt payments to this warehouse. That's okay, they've got more warehouses.
Terraform and SuneQ form $280 million 7 year term loan facility of TerraForm Private Warehouse.
This one seems to be confirmed as still an actual asset and it's worth more than their dip financing:
$700 million worth of Class B shares in TerraForm Global and TerraForm Power.
The Atlantic Wind Deal:
Sunedison and TerraForm get together and form a $525 million opperating asset warehouse with funds acquisition operated by Sunedison. Also in the deal: two wind power plants, one in Idaho, another in Oklahoma, that they hope will raise $44 million over the next 10 years.
Does that mean they've raised $4 million so far from this venture?
Or did they just spend it?
Honiton
TerraForm Global, Inc acquired three wind energy generation projects in China. The aggregate consideration paid for this acquisition was $109 million in cash.
First Wind
Under the First Wind deal, SunEdison and TerraForm Power bought 500 megawatts of operating wind farms, 21 megawatts of operating solar farms and 1.6 gigawatts of development-stage projects. They deferred about $510 million in earn-out project payments, and about $231 million of that amount remains unpaid. That’s the amount D.E. Shaw and Madison Dearborn Capital are seeking from TerraForm Power.
Silver Ridge Power
50% ownership in Sliver Ridge Power, LLC from The AES Corporation.
That's 50% interest of two solar projects in California and 40% interest in Tenaska Imperial Solar Energy Center West, which will be completed in 2016. Additionally, when it's completed, Suneq expects to acquire Riverstone's shares of SRP's interest in Tenaska Imperial Solar Engergy Center West project.
Sunedison Semiconductor shares.
SunEdison now owns about 26 percent of the semiconductor company. They owned more but they sold most of their shares to pay for First Wind disaster. Can anyone verify they still own these shares?
Terraform Acquisitions
Northern Lights
Solar facilities in Cananda.
Capital Dynamics
Renewable energy systems in the US.
Mt. Signal
Renewable energy system located in Mt. Signal, California.
Other TerraForm Acquisitions:
During the six months ended June 30, 2015, TerraForm acquired 66 solar generation facilities.
Commanche Solar Project in Colorado:
Cost $253 million.
Hoping to sell to third party to relieve Suneq of 55 million owed.
It feels like I am missing another warehouse...?
Plus 750 or more patents. It's hard to price patents though...
Also, $5 million in grants before chapter 11...and they just had to go chapter 11 before that big solar deal was passed.
