Im going to guess Beacs hasn't received a 3rd reply because there to busy following better request. They tried calling him with the first number he provided, that didn't work, they emailed him, and who's to say that next number didn't work either? It's to early in the game to think the Sales people are neglecting the leads they get. Im sure there set up on commission for each sale. There just going after the Best Leads (like Beacs 1st request).
-James- Well Done!

Vodafone Using Vending Machines to Sell Phones
The vending machine has come a long way since the Ancient Greeks invented an urn dispensing holy water. Vodafone has installed the first vending machine in the UK to dispense mobile phones. Initially being piloted in Vodafone stores in Manchester, the QuickPhone kiosk could become a common sight everywhere from festivals to train stations.
The vending machine is designed for those who know what they want, from a simple Pay As You Talk phone from £30 to a Sim Pack costing £5. Each machine will offer the customer a choice of three phones, and will be the first vending machine to use Chip and Pin technology, in addition to allowing customers to pay in cash. The phone will be changed on a monthly basis, in line with new models and the latest trends.
The Quickphone vending machine was developed exclusively for Vodafone UK by UTL, utilising technology and mechanics from FAS (Italy), Vianet and Fujitsu Services. It uses 3G technology to inform Vodafone of stock levels, enabling the vending machine to be used in even the most remote locations.
Tom Devine, Head of Retail at Vodafone UK comments: "Increasingly, more people know what they want from a phone and want to buy it when it suits them. Vodafone's QuickPhone will revolutionise the industry by allowing self-service in almost any location."

Just spoke with Gail at SEMdirector to see if they would be exhibiting any of Neomedia technology at the CMO summit on Thursday. She said no. She said they where not Partnered with Neomedia to Market there technology, but to create and build new software for the company? She was very familiar with the PC technology but what they where creating was different and very exciting. Of course I asked, but was quickly denied any info about what software they where creating. And she would not offer a Deadline on the Creation of the new Software. She did mention they would be at the SES conference (Search Engine Strategies) in Chicago Dec 5-8 if I wanted to speak with them.
Old DD from T-Mobile News. T-Mobile and Google agree on partnership. (06/29/05)
• Declared goal: increasing use and user-friendliness of free Internet when on the move
• Google search engine on homepage of new "web’n’walk" Internet service for cell phones
• Faster access to over eight billion web pages worldwide
T-Mobile and Google Inc. will be working in close cooperation in the future to provide the new web’n’walk services. The objective is to improve user-friendliness, increase the advantages and boost the speed of Internet access when using the net via T-Mobile cell phones. With web’n’walk, T-Mobile is offering customers attractive service packages for mobile access to the World Wide Web. These packages include innovative cell phones, rapid mobile data transmission and tempting prices.
As part of the partnership, the Google search engine will be preset as the Internet homepage on the T-Mobile phones. Thus, at the touch of a few buttons, mobile Internet surfers will have the award-winning Google search engine at their disposal. Another facet of the partnership between the two companies will be joint marketing activities aimed at high-level marketing of mobile access to the free Internet.
By providing the Google search engine, T-Mobile is giving its customers who access the Internet from a cell phone using the new web’n’walk service the ideal starting point for excursions into the World Wide Web. Google reaches over eight billion web pages throughout the world and automatically displays the key search results first. That way, users obtain nearly instant access to the information they want. The homepage with the Google search engine and other useful links will initially be available on Sidekick II, MDA compact, MDA III, the new model of SDA and the Nokia models 6680 9300 and 9500.
As you all know Mobot has T-Mobile, Sprint ,Verizon and Cingular listed as Partners.
I checked the Daily Calendar for Judge Manning this morning and Noticed that Neomedia and Virgin where removed. So I called the Judges Clerk and she mentioned that it had been rescheduled for July 14th at 11:00am. I did not ask if she knew why.
Hearing Update. It has been rescheduled for July 14th at 11:00 am
Last update from today’s hearing. I just went through today’s post to make sure I wasn’t repeating everything reported earlier. The first thing said to the Judge was from the Neomedia attorney Allison Dudley “We are really, really close to a settlement” Neomedia received the settlement proposal back from Virgin last Friday May 13th. The Judge asked Allison how much more time she needed, she replied 30 days. The Judge said that time wasn’t available and that June 21st at 11:00 am was the next available time. Both parties agreed. Lupetto3 hit the nail on the head with message #17648 “Honestly, I am somewhat surprised that things are moving along at this pace. It tells me that BOTH sides want closure to this deal so they can proceed with who knows what in terms of moving the technology forward (for both parties).
IMO both sides do want closure! For being a Federal courtroom both attorneys are very friendly and polite to each other. Just before our case was called two attorneys from different companies where ripping each other to pieces in front of the Judge over delay tactics, stalling etc. etc. Not the case with the Neomedia and Virgin attorneys. One last thing it has been my experience in the past when an attorney wants to extend things they usually request for a standard 6-8 week extension. Such as the last two times. The fact that Allison only requested 4 weeks to finalize this hint’s that, as she put it “We are really, really close to a settlement”
William
I'm heading downtown. I'm hooking up with Movieguy before this gets started. Will report back ASAP. Probably around 12:30 Central Time.
William
3 million shares knocks it down 12% . Imagine what 40 to 60 Million shares headed north is going to do :)
Be Patient, if being a Millionaire was so easy everyone would be :)
Google Search engine through Text Messaging on any cell phone?
Check this out. Type in the word pizza and your zip code in the text message area ie: Pizza 60018 , Then send this text message to 46645 (it starts to spell GOOGLE without the E on the end? ) Watch the instant message that comes back from google. Name, address, phone number, distance too, In my case 3 local pizza places came back within 2 miles. You can also type in a Business name and city and it will respond back. Someone at a Nokia Kiosk in our local mall showed me this feature yesterday. I was inquiring about the new Smart phones they have coming out that would be compatible with NEOM technology. He used the text message with Cingular, I used it with T-Mobile.
This info may be totally irrelevant to Neom Patents? T-Mobile charges $1.25 per 411 call or 5 cents for a text message. In the future I will no longer be giving T-Mobile $1.25 for this info. Maybe you'll do the same with your carrier :) On a side note I own 5 Retail T-Mobile stores in the Chicagoland area and I, nor did any of my employees or any of our customer know about this 5 cent feature ?
Koko, Nothing to report as of this afternoon. Remember Virgin probably got the paper work from NEOM last friday. If things are filed before May 17th Im sure it will be closer to that date. William
Congrats to All! I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions when we start trading 40-60 Million shares a day. This party hasn't even started. We're still handing out the invitations :)
8:08am Bid .393 Ask .394
JP, Im going to take the your advice and others and not say anymore. You mentioned in a Post that the Next time Neomedia and Virgin are in court they'll be tight lipped because of our Play by Play on the Message Board. We'll before I released this info I can up with the following conclusion. It doesn't matter if my cover is blown. There won't be Neomedia and Virgin in the Courtroom anymore :)
Have an awesome Weekend.
I'm going to be out for 2 hours, I'll check back with the board in a few hours. Understand the info I heard in the Hallway was not the "HOLY GRAIL" of info we wanted to here. ie: the Exact Terms of the Settlement. But it was very positive! I'm going to make a call, I'll see if I can Share more later.
And thank all of you for your continuous DD, What I've done is Small compared to the Hard work you put into this.
Best Regards, William
The rapport between Both attorneys is very friendly. They sit next to each other, they leave the courtroom, ride the elevator etc.. etc.. Last month when I was there I noticed them sitting next to eachother acting the same way as today.
Im my opinion, Don't buy or sell on this! The terms to the Settlement have already been agreed to by both Parties. This will not go to trail. "It's a done Deal"
Status Hearing Update: Allison Dudley Representing NEOM asked Judge Manning for a additional 30 days to finalize the Settlement terms. Joe Flerlage representing Virgin agreed to the request. A new Status hearing is scheduled for May 17th at 11:00am. All of the interesting, juicy important info was said before the hearing in the Hallway between Allison and Joe. It was said in Public, but not directly at me. If someone (me) was standing within 10 feet of them in the Public area and heard what they where saying can it be disclosed? Any help would be Great.
Im heading out now, I'll report back any information around 11:30 central time.
Mudrez, Yes it will be held April 15th at the Dirksen Building on Dearborn St.
Movieguy,Walden,Yellowjacket you've got private messages.
Success. It's the same as Today "Status Hearing" which means it's open to the Public.
Update to the Status Hearing in Chicago. Allison Dudley representing Neomedia and Joe Flerlage representing Virgin, appeared before Judge Manny this morning. Neomedia requested an extension of 6 to 8 weeks. When the Judge asked why, Allison said they (Both Parties) where in the process of exchanging terms and working out a few Discrepancies. The Judge asked Joe what he thought, and he agreed that they needed more time. The Judge granted the Motion and Set a date for April 15th. It was over in 2 Minutes. And Yes, I will be there April 15th.
Just spoke with Judge Mason's Clerk. She mentioned the Settlement hearing is still scheduled for tommorrow at 9:30am. The web site that has the daily calender is incorrect, they have switch to a new system a few weeks ago. If you signed up for Racer/Pacer she said you can view the correct info under the Docket section. She said she has been telling attorneys to no longer use the public daily calender system for updated info.
Just so we don't overload Judge Mason's Clerk (Katie) I have already placed a call with her to find out why the settlement conference hasn't been posted on the Daily Calender. She has called me back in the past. I will post her response back ASAP.
