I wish Overstock was on my radar in Aug., geez
$21 !
When has Cramer ever mentioned a penny stock?
I've been kicking myself over Overstock.
Two weeks ago, it occurred to me out of the blue that blockchain could revolutionize trading platforms. So I went looking for any ground-floor opportunities, in that context.
Well shoot. Overstock beat me to it and was already a rocket.
Man, oh man....
First! Ha ha.
When did she respond?
This might be way out on a limb, but seems to me the tech can range far from just grokking restaurant bills.
I hesitate to speculate too wildly. Big chain retailers come to mind. GlancePay's anti-fraud tech would be one of its hooks. I must read that patent application.
I can't help but think that marketing will be essential. Let the world know what GlancePay is, how it's different (and there are differences), how much easier it is to use or how much more versatile. Don't let the excuse "Well I already have a pay app" steal our wind.
Holy Toledo!
What is going on here?
Japan mines seabed for zinc
www.nextbigfuture.com/2017/10/japan-mines-seabed-gets-zinc-equal-to-japan-annual-consumption.html
For anyone who's gotten burned by low-priced securities on the Vancouver exchange or whatever they call it these days, I think I'm stating the obvious.
Major indications here that Glance is the real thing. I'm still in. But the proof will be in revenue (or a nice earth-shaking buyout by some giant).
This is almost scary.
What's the best guess(es) here as to the main drivers of this surge?
(I don't think that's as stupid a question as it sounds. This is still a penny stock... a penny stock out of VANCOUVER. A notoriously risky category.)

I'm not ready yet to say that this is huge. But it sure could lead to mind-boggling hugeness.
The Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp. just announced the recovery, in the space of a month-and-a-half (if I read the article right), enough zinc off the seabed equal to Japan's regular annual production.
The system they used is surprisingly straightforward. Makes Nautilus' setup look like a Rube Goldberg contraption, which it sort of is.
A bit annoyed though when I search the news for cobalt-related news, I see lots of references to other miners like First, Cruz, e-, and others, but almost nothing about US Cobalt.
Sitting back and doing nothing is great -- as long as Glance is doing something.
We gotta have signups, we gotta grow revenue to get margins, to keep ahead of the Big Boys or at least keep pace. We don't have the field all to ourselves. (Pardon me if I'm stating the obvious here.)
The IP sounds great. If the IP is game-changing, maybe make us a juicy buyout target at a nice multiple. Or (even better if you've the patience), seize a lion's share of the market before anyone notices, like Churchill's tanks at Cambrai.
It's nice to dream. BUT GET THOSE FRANCHISE SIGNUPS.
I've chased too many penny-stock mirages to tolerate inertia.
July?

The China Market: Opportunities and Risks
What I liked best about the article:
"Disclosure: We have no position in CRRVF and have not been compensated for this article."
Very nice day today for Glance.
But, unless you're a swing trader, it means nothing without new signups for GlancePay. Some obscure little taco chain with an unpronounceable name isn't going to cut it.
odd that spike into the .30s ... did that yesterday too
Cobalt has more than doubled in price since this time last year. It's ~$60,000 per metric ton now and almost certain to keep climbing.
This is Wayne Tisdale's project, and I think one would have to look at what happened with his other endeavors in the past.
Things generally move glacially slow (almost literally) in mine-development projects, but if the concentrations are high enough things can move fast too.
I hope management soon faces a choice: Do we borrow for the capital expenditures necessary to dig up all that high-concentration ore, or do we invite buyers from the majors at a large multiple of our current share price?
Can you say "buyout target", boys and girls?
Stocks fluctuate, and low-priced stocks fluctuate more. But maybe early word on assay results has leaked?

That being said, articles full of fawning sponsored content make me nervous.

This hiring is quite huge.
I think Lauzon was a scam artist cashing in on having a name identical to that of a Mars Inc. executive. Or maybe that wasn't his real name.
I like GLNNF. I own some GLNNF.
I don't like being associated with Oilprice.com, a known shill for P&D operations.
BTW, I was paraphrasing Stephen Hawking: "When I hear of Schrödinger's cat I reach for my gun."
Whenever I see Oilprice.com, I reach for my gun.
Figuratively speaking, of course.
