There are two kinds of 5G networks -- mmWave (faster and limited in range) and sub-6GHz (slower but wider spread). You can google both to learn about them. It’s the mmWave that is most sensitive to shielding, not from the glass, but the middle frame. Cutting a hole doesn’t solve it because you are getting the signal in all directions. So you need a thin, strong material that is most RF transparent. Only LM meets this requirement.
Look at the last financials ...it's all right there if you know how to read it.
No, this is low volume and low revenue. The mouth pieces are disposable. The BMG is in the machine that is not replaced. This has been out since 2018, as the date of the blog you posted indicates. Reoccurring, volume orders means high volume. Which means CE. And hopefully auto and medical soon to follow once the flood gates of mass production are open.
If we see a good net profit in the next financials, even without a single PR or announcement from any company, I still think this stock will build momentum closer to the 30-40 cent range. Money talks, even if the company does not.
Yes, we have not seen the normal pull backs that one would expect.
This shows support at these price levels. As I mentioned earlier, these next two months are going to be very exciting times for this company.
Maybe this was why LQMT was using CNC-machining for degating instead of water jetting. It appears that water jetting does not provide as "clean" a finish as CNC-machining. Although their design guide states both water jetting and CNC-machining is used. And the current website shows a pic of a water jet next to the "degating" portion of the "cycle". https://www.liquidmetal.com/injection-molding/
Galaxy Fold 2 Release Event 9/1/20
Surface Duo just released - "The hinge is one of the Duo’s defining features; it has to move seamlessly, fluidly, and be able to pause and hold at any point in its 360-degree journey, to open up a world of usage possibilities. In my early testing, it works flawlessly, going from book mode to tent mode to phone mode to whatever seamlessly."
LG Wing - foldable and twistable phone expected to be unveiled in the near future.
And then the granddaddy Apple expected anytime in September or October. With many new iphones, ipads, iwatches, chargers. The possibilities are endless.
And then the earning report in October.
Man are the next two months going to be exciting!
Yes, one can easily see the desperation setting in for the traders....

LG Wing Phone coming in October. Another foldable phone that will need a small, lightweight strong hinge....
And LG is a customer of Eon...
Thanks for the links, they do match up and it makes sense that they would be producing for Asus.
But the main question of why they are not selling in EU or US remains. And I still think the only logic reason is Apple.
The one thing we do know, which is confirmed, is right after Asus publicly stated that they developed a new more cost effective BMG cutting method of water jetting, the next Liquidmetal Design Guide had this changed as the new method of cutting the parts from the tree.
They said the same thing about the Zenphone 6, but it was never sold in Europe.
Not confirmed, but even if it were Prometal Tech (which possibly uses Eon's die cast BMG machines), it doesn't answer the question of why they are not selling in US. Something is keeping them out. And we may find out this answer soon.
PS. Other posters have stated that Dr. Peker is no longer with Prometal. Also unconfirmed....
"Even right at launch, there is a greater quantity of ZenFone 7 devices available in the launch regions compared to the ZenFone 6. So people who want to get their hands on the phone should now face fewer difficulties and see more open sales. That, of course, still depends on how high the demand is in each region."
What regions is it being released? That's what I would like to find out. Go to Asus US website and there is no model 7. And even the model 6 that is listed there is not for sale - and never was. Why? This should be Asus's largest market. Doesn't make sense...accept for the idea that some entity is keeping them (and Huawei) out of the US (and Europe).
"This is for domestic market only since Huawei foldable has not shipped outside of China yet."
This is the key statement I focus on. Why is this? There are plenty of EU countries using Huawei products already and would love to have either the 1st or 2nd generation Huawei foldable that has been out for over a year now. So why are they not moving their liquid metal containing products to EU yet?
Same question with Asus? Why are they only selling the liquid metal containing Zenphone in Asia for the moment?
Again, think this through, there is no logical reason for this other than Apple. You know these companies would love to grab market share in areas outside Asia - no question about this. So what is holding them back? Apple is the only entity that could be keeping them out of these markets until they release their product(s). There is no other logical explanation.
Plus we know they started producing for a "customer(s)" in July. That is when production started for Apple. We know of no other company in any industry that was ready for BMG mass production at that time.
https://pocketnow.com/asus-zenfone-7-leaked-images-confirm-flip-triple-camera-setup
8/26 of next gen Asus Zenphone 7 with liquid metal flip camera. Will this be sold in US??? Still think this is the best phone design out there.
The fact that LQMT didn’t name the customer(s) they started producing for in July strongly suggest NDA. So if one thinks this through, it really must be CE. It isn’t auto as Tesla had no NDA, and there isn’t any reason for any other auto company to require it. It likely is not medical as the dental device and conexion device didn’t hide the publicity of LQMT. And there is no reason in the medical field to hide this material. So really it is only the CE industry that is using NDA’s. Huawei and Asus publicly announced the use of “liquid metal” but only in China. Asus phones never showed up in US for some reason. And even Huawei P40 midframe (sold in Europe) was not publicly announced. Only the hinge was, which never left China. So it seems clear that any CE use of this material in LQMT territory is being kept quiet. This all points to one 2 trillion dollar CE company.
Eontec just released their financial report for first half of 2020. While it is difficult to accurately translate pdf documents, I was able to translate and it the narrative on liquidmetal can be found below. The formatting is not good, but you can read the text. My major take away is that it appears that they are supplying liquidmetal hinges for not only Huawei, but also Samsung. The two new Samsung foldable (flip) phones. Also they have sold licensing to another supplier who will also be producing part. The ecco system is clearly growing...
(2) Liquid metal
The emergence of folding screen mobile phones is a necessity for the development of smart phones. The design and production of hinges are one of the two core technologies of folding screen mobile phones.

Huawei new smart glasses using new “titanium alloy”....
Holy crap, I actually agree with Watts!
He is correct in that this is Chinese money coming in as they do know what is about to happen....
Something SIGNIFICANT is going on here and it isn't the latest PR.
This is whale related.
106C contains Niobium, this is the key ingredient for its potential use as a cathode or anode. I believe Toyota was looking at batteries that used an amorphous alloy containing Niobium as a cathode/anode.
Eontec produces magnesium alloy which is used for the storage compartments for the bateries in vehicles due to its light weight and strength.
Exactly, that's why its been a traders playground. But that is about to chance. You know by the whining who the traders are...

Note the response here....primarily CE products!
Question: Hello, Yi 'an Technology supplies Tesla Model X liquid metal lock, golf head, tennis racket, armor-piercing bullet core and other sports products, as well as the use of bone nails and other medical products are true? The large probability of folding screen mobile phone has become a fact. Is Huawei's liquid metal 0 component supplier (the hinge of the folding screen) mass-produced?
Answer: How do you do? Thank you for your attention to the company. The company's liquid metal products are currently mainly used in consumer electronics and car door locks. The folding screen mobile phone hinges produced by the company have been supplied to customers in bulk. Thank you!
Eon recent Q&A:
Question: Can liquid metal be used in mechanical watches? Has the company considered this application? Personally, I think the mechanical watch is very suitable for the application of liquid metal superhard materials

They have been around for 20 years and were profitable early on.
"Among them, the number of patents used to reduce costs, speed up production and increase yield accounts for By one-fifth. The patents applied by Yian Technology in the past two years are more focused on equipment design and research and development, but the purpose is also obvious, focusing on increasing the production capacity of a single device."
NUFF SAID...
"Start-ups like LQMT don't have the time to wait for future profitable sales years down road..."
LQMT is not a start up, incorrect statement.
As far as time....let me refer you to the latest 10Q:
"As a result of the funding under the 2016 Purchase Agreement, the Company anticipates that its current capital resources, when considering expected losses from operations, will be sufficient to fund the Company’s operations for the foreseeable future."
They have plenty of time....especially since operational costs have been cut down to around $4M annually. That is a rounding error in the whale's books.
The article is irrelevant. The fact that they posted a photo of of a "Liquidmetal" (with our trademark) midframe in the photo is what is important. And the fact that it matches the midframe for the IPhone 12 leak is what is important.
LQMT will produce for anyone that pays them and anyone in their sales territory. And that is already happening...
