This website https://daviswiki.org/Moller_International provides an excellent history of Paul Moller and the Skycar. I just inserted the entire Skycar Blog to this site. It can be found under "2011 - Oct. 5" in the chronology. The Blog got pretty crazy leading up to the Oct. 11, 2011 demo flight, which of course never happened! Hilarity ensued!
Do all of you realize that their listed address, 3495 Lakeside Drive, Suite 108, Reno, NV 89509, is a "The OfficeBoss" mail drop? So much for the stainless steel and glass skyscrapers shown in their website!
In October 2011 I posted a message on the Moller Blog as Jah Mackey, the wonderful PR guy. You could post a message using any name you wanted, totally uncontrolled! I made an announcement that Moller had reached a production deal with North Korea to build the Skycar! Hilarity ensued! Fanboy JEFF said there would be a lawsuit! This was the same time as the infamous public flight which was to be held on October 11, 2011, but was canceled as they wouldn't be able to handle the flood of attendees. Using my company (Very Big Aviation company) email address, I as even able to offer a sponsorship and obtain an invitation. Amazing times! I copied the entire blog, from Sept 3, 2010 to October 6, 2011, after which the blog was removed.

Are Alife bikes even in production? If they are, there is no information or specs on them anywhere, even on Alife's website. The "production line" shown in the article looks like phony setup designed to create the illusion that something is going on, even if it isn't. Alife has never answered any emails I sent them.
I am sure the great ELLONNZO would be more than happy to provide the reason for the tardiness.

There is no mention on Moller's twitter page about the cancellation of the Neuera flight. Go figure!
They always have an excuse for everything. When they were going to attempt an untethered flight of the Skycar 4 years ago, the excuse was they couldn't handle the massive crowds they were expecting! This has come to be known as the "porta-potty" excuse. This would infer that the Skycar was capable of flight, or so they would like one to believe.

Talk about misleading!!! He talks like it has actually flown. All it has done is to wobble around on the end of a tether, without a pilot on board. It has never flown untethered, which means all it has done is takeoff and land in the same spot.
The last time he scheduled a public demonstration flight in October 2011, he cancelled it because, he claimed the couldn't accommodate the throngs that were clambering to see it. What a JOKE!
The aspect of being able to "fly" in it while playing video games while you tool through the skies, it totally not true and not supported in the present air traffic control system, nor in any future system, except for maybe in the Jetson's time.

Sorry, I never owned the stock. I've worked in aerospace all my career and learned of Mr. Moller from an associate 30 years ago. I thought he was a nut then. I just follow him now for the humor. It's also a great lesson on human nature. Some people will just believe anything some people say, with absolutely no supporting evidence. If it's been printed (or on the internet), it must be true. That's how the whole penny stock thing works.
Sure, the "service center" with 4 runny-nosed kids are going to do this. I certainly haven't seen alife acknowledge any letters of intent to Moller. Seems to be Moller is doing all the announcing. He has been saying 3.5 million engines "sold" for years - LITERALY and he hasn't actually sold one engine. That is a fact.

Sorry, what PROOF do you have that any funding exists? Moller is anything but transparent when it comes to PROVING his PPS pumping PRs. He has made NUMEROUS funding claims before, and not one of them has come to pass. And what about the $6000 per day he is spending right now? I would that would be enough to fly his PoS "flying" machine. Moller is nothing but a scam and a wind-bag egotistical, pompous self-promoter.

This is the same announcement they made in 2011 when they said they were going to build 40 (yes, 40!!) of these things, and you know how that turned out. They have never flown this thing off a tether, and haven't even done that in the past 10 years.

IMO there will be no "first flight," just like there wasn't a flight in October 2011. Not only does the historicfirstflight web page not state a date, but they removed all references to venues where the flight was to take place and where the "flight to the smithonian" appearances were supposed to be. The only place the Skycar will ever be display in the Smithsonian will be in the "Monumental Aircraft Failures" section.
Funny thing is now "thorntail" is saying they will have a first flight next summer. However this alleged aircraft used the same IMO non-existent engines that the Skycar is supposed to use. So if that is true, why isn't the Skycar going to have its first flight before then?
