Thanks! Everything is simplified by a chart.
IMHO as a small retail investor, my goal is to identify a unicorn investment and at least once buy-in early before the institutions come in and run the price up. I already own more shares than I should, but a pattern is clearing forming in the charts. Sojourner, you are tempting me again.
You know they will never get an approval on this trial. You just want to pump this bubble so other suckers will buy your shares.
Love it. Rod Serling favorite: "Imagination... its limits are only those of the mind itself."
While informative DD discussions take place on this board, we should not lose sight of the obvious that "smart" money is buying and accumulating shares in the background. Compare the prices and volume today vs those during the first 4 months of this year. Both are ~4X higher today than then.
Also even though TLD is taking forever, I believe it is a matter of waiting days and will not stretch into a family tradition that passes to the next generation.

Other than Occam's razor, there are Schick, Norelco, and Gilette. I would never invest in them though, razor thin margins.
Maybe what's in store for us around the corner is NWBO. I just want that 5 minutes sitting on the sofa, just feeling that, okay that was quite an accomplishment, more than just for me to feel good about.
Iwasadiver, thanks for sharing what Dave Innes said, “an update in the very near future”. I will take the words "near future" literally, which I interpret to mean in the coming days up to a week.
As opposed to figuratively, like when I was young, my father's friend said I "would have a very bright future". That was decades ago, and I am still waiting for when I get to see the light.
That's what I'm thinking too.
Agree it is obvious.
It would be like AF being asked to publicly denounce the wolf pack and illegal short selling, and his answer instead is telling them in real time to "stand back and stand by."
Exactly, have a well written PR all ready.
How things are said is important.
There is a reason why we say "good night" to others and not "rest in peace" before going to bed.
At least on the Chinese Lunar Calendar side, there is no September 30, 2020, only goes to the 29th. So I'm good that wording for end of September means tomorrow.
I see the price beginning to make a move now.
Looks like the price is beginning to make the move up.
Price is beginning the move up.
The current anxiety is possibly overdone and creating a self perpetuating cycle. I am sure when the price went from $0.50 to $0.90, that drew in a number of new momentum trading investors. If large amounts, which possibly it was, their investment strategy is to sell before a binary event. We may be mixing up the waiting until 9/30/20, with normal stock selling, and thus creating undue anxiety.
Long term investors, thru due diligence, will understand it is the TLD that matters and that the timing of it is secondary. I would see this as part of a Long's buying process.
I think all is still good.
Other than the ultimate due diligence, which is self-injection, I wholly agree with your preliminary assessment.
DCVax’s works!!!
Long story short.
The Short's story will turn long.
Shortly.
Exactly. Whether DCVAX's 5 year overall survival turns out to be 20%, 25%, or 30%, when the historical SOC is 5%, it just doesn't change the investment thesis. Those are 300% to 500% improvements over historical survival figures with little to no side effects, unless you count survival as a side effect.
Compare that to cancer drugs that are approved for promising ~2 months to overall survival, based on surrogate endpoint, and have untold toxicity. We are entering a new era with DCVAX that should not be underestimated.
The majority of new oncology drugs that were approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) from 2009 to 2013 entered the market without clear evidence that they improved survival or quality of life, according to a new report published online October 4 in the BMJ.
very funny
Super important point.
I believe by January we could very well be trading in excess of $5 and Institutional ownership could be up dramatically. I can understand investors frustrated for years selling for a profit, I do hope you don't give the Institutions all your holdings. Typically small investors make the greatest percentage gains, but it's the Institutions that buy in as the stock moves up that make the biggest dollar gains. Don't let them take your shares too cheaply.
I know we don't have results yet, but I feel pretty elated now.
This is similar to how I felt buying my first NWBO share. A bit of pre-excitement anxiety.
You are the best!
When the Mother of All Squeezes takes place, there will be a moment when Shorts quietly shout out the word sorry to themselves. That pain, if you can see it in their face when they say sorry, is their soul trying to get back inside their body.
Mother of All Squeezes Monday, imo.
A great example of how logic fails to wisdom.
Schrodinger: Until we open the box, is the cat dead or alive?
Question: If DCVAX-L Phase III is successful, will NWBO hit $20/share in 2021?
Opinions?
• Maxwell Smart: The old 30X return on investment trick.
• Detective Columbo: I don’t know the answer to that.
Oh, there’s just one more thing…. If fully diluted shares are 1.2b, today institutions only own 0.02% and the average is 70%...then how many shares would have to be bought from retail? [~800M]
• Inspector Clouseau: “I have fixed your doorbell from the ringing.”
Done. I sent a message to them and asked them to inquire with the SEC.
hoot hoot!
A lighthouse.
I anxiously await the data lock announcement and will pull out a bowl of chocolate banana split ice cream at first sighting.
This message board has taught me much about how people can twist good news into bad. It's like someone deliberating pumping fog in front of your car while driving alongside a narrow, winding, mountainside cliff road at night. (I just want to open my window and shout out at that person, "Can you please go find something else to do!")
I can only say thanks to the many longs on this board for being good companions all these years. It made the difference for me staying on path, buying and holding, and keeping clarity on the promise of DCVAX as an immunotherapy:
- It attacks cancer by utilizing the entire immune system (not using a single pathway like most other treatments)
- It is inherently autologous, personalized, natural (low toxicity, the way medicine should work)
- My hope DCVAX can be a cure (develops a systemic immune response, reduces risk of cancer recurrence)

Astute observation.
Excited too. I want to add a high speed motor to my office chair.
All smiles.
Makes sense. Surviving past 3, 4, and then 5 years, it just seems logical any tumor would have been destroyed especially given GBM’s mutation rate. That effectively is a cure, I would have to believe.
Great explanation.
The last stretch of waiting is mentally the most stressful. Hazard pay for everyone.
A couple of years ago these daily price fluctuations would knock me off my meditation pillow.
And I stack them 5 high.
Today I am a bit more stubborn.
That's just both exciting and stressful.
