Billy_at_the_beach, first reaction was Spam BUT there does seem to be a great deal of info and free links there.
Boards in general.
I have heard people complain about no responses to e-mail and how they GZFX should be listening to this board. I would like to share a response that I did get from a corporation CEO once in answer to my suggestion that they have someone monitor boards. Maybe that is GZFXs stand also?
"Bob,
Thanks for the email. To (be)honest I have ordered that no one within the company watch chat room or boards because they want to respond and as a company we do not that. I truly appreciate the belief in me and I (will) try (to) work with what we have in order to chase the Big (guys)
Cheers,"
Thank you orderjunkie, well said.
perco50 I do hope you feel better. Sometimes it's just good to get things off of your chest.
Gosh I hate to be negative when I haven't seen the facts, but if no one knows us, that is no advertising to speak of, how are the revenue details going to be good. Hell, some say they haven,t even been billed yet or that they haven't been asked to put in their SS data.. I certainly hope I am wrong and some good info will come down the pipeline.
Up baby, up baby.
Do you all remember the little Choo-choo, "I know I can, I know I can"
BigDon, I second this section of your post.
"I could have been one of them but I am in too deep to give up."
When you have possibly screwed up big time, as I have, and put 2/3rds of your cash into one stock and the other 1/3 isn't performing well and I would take a big hit if I sold that, I have to stay along for the ride.
wOod and junkmasterg, you are certainly right youngster. It appears Howard & Rush both came on board the Snapple train at the same time. Howard later came back in about 1996 and has apparently stayed. I would disagree with you junkmasterg that Howard's audiance was larger than Rush. I ran across the following excerpt from a history on Quaker Oats, who bought Snapple in 1994, and I'm not computer wise enough to be able to get it out of a PDF format into word so it will transfer to here. Just comnes out as an empty square. Basically here is a clip from what it says.
(The Thomas H. Lee Company of Boston bought Snapple in 1992 and took it public in 1993.)
"Wanting to propel brand to national distribution, Snapple rolled out an advertising campaign centered on a "customer relations, regular people" theme. An employee, Wendy Kaufman,
became the "face" of Snapple on TV.....Snapple also enlisted the support of off beat personalities including top ranked shock-jock Howard Stern and talk show host Rush Limbaugh, to create a quirky, individualist image that wooed a cult-like following..
Thank you Sentinel for those insights. For the last several minutes I've been looking through the June posts on this board trying to find ammuition to my own belief that the website has little to do with this slide. I don't beleive the MM are looking at websites, they are looking at profits they can make from stock sales. Saw you there, and wOod, frankie_fillet, cats, Bruce, and young junkmasterg. I was trying to find JFs open letter on corp. direction, etc., wondering if that had triggered the early-mid June climb. However, eventually found that was way back on 5/27 and the announcement of Ben's Northshore spot was on 6/1. The real movement didn't start until 6/8 or 6/9 and there was no announcements??? So, with that,I think you Sentinel may be totally correct, it is a controlled slide, people wanting to get some cash from their services rather than stock, and the website has nothing to do with it. Now, I went to the website and there are still far too many covers not displayed. The writeups in all caps are terrible. The fact that all caps is not good has been known for 30-40 years if not longer. Too hard to read. I looked at NFLX and it is much sharper. I have never watched a DVD movie in my life so haven't tried out their service to see how it is working.
Well live and learn. I'd never heard the name Howard Stern until channel surfing on late night TV about a year ago and saw him on E!. Was admittenly somewhat shocked then and haven't vetured to watch again. Again, I'm no prude, it's kinda like calling an escort service instead of picking up a hooker on the street. Howard is standing on the corner as far as I am concerned.
junkmasterg. Thank God I don't have to keep listening. Keep me (us) informed.
Funny,Rush catapulted Snapple upward,
The comparison is starkenly ironic. Really, Rush Limbaugh gave Snapple the push it needed many years ago to become a competitor. Now it's Howard. Only in America.
Ho Hum, guess I'll go argue with the wife or clean my cats litter for some enjoyment.
Discovery of Howard Stern at age 68.
I'm wondering if associating GZFX with Howard, by the appearance of Ben, is really a good move?? I've listened the last couple of days hoping to hear from Ben. I guess I've just been living a very sheltered life. He's WAY out there. However, if he indeed has millions of listeners I guess that would be a venue for getting out the news on "Mature" film availablity. That may increase subscriptions, but as many investors are arch conservative will they shy away from any association with GZFX? Or is the bottom line, profit, eveyone's motivation?? Note: I am certainly not a prude, but I am somewhat shocked by his subject matter and language used on the show. I'm married to the Frank O Pinion program in St. Louis, and their show is often somewhat risque. But their occasional parody about sad events, or off color sexual comments, which some might consider to be sick, are still interpreted by the audience as being in jest and due meanings go over the heads of possible young minor listeners. On the other hand, Howard believes the dirt he exposses.
Sorry to use your posts.
Hypothetical through, since I don't have a service such as alphacharts (no commercial intended) and I see a 500K at 4.9, or for that matter even on alphachart, if someone had put in a buy at 500K at 5.8 and it took all waiting sales, including one for a few thousand at 4.9 to fill the 500K order, wouldn't it end up showing as a 500K at 4.9????
Hey wOod, step up with an opinion on my #3032
Feel like answering some basics? Regarding that 4.9 yesterday, doesn't that really mean that the buy of 500K simply picked up what was on the board and SOME shares, maybe only a couple thousand, were being offered for as low as 4.9? Doesn't necesarly mean the buy was for 500K at 4.9, right?
UGHO (SPAM)
This may be why aphatrade didn't open????
Google started off the day saying it will sell 24.6 million class A shares in its initial public offering at $108 to $135 each. Then, the search engine’s Web site crashed.
Blame that on a new version of the MyDoom computer virus, which spread so quickly that many Web surfers received error messages when attempting to use Google.com today. The new virus also hit the Yahoo, Altavista, and Lycos search engines, according to antivirus firm McAfee. By 3:10 p.m. ET, however, all those search engines appeared to be working normally.

Thanks for the try. They are giving off "500" error messages about server failure. Don't apparently like the forwarding.
Amen to that, thank goodness I missed the dip far into 5. I left for a couple of hours an missed the 5.3 or 5.4, whatever it was. Ameritrade is showing a low of 4.9 but chart doesn't reflect that. Tomorrow is another day, onward and upward.
Yeh, end of July, guess blame it on global warming?????????
What is Rush's term, environmental whackos?
Yeh, long summer, but in Illinois we are enjoying temperatures in the high 70s today!!!! So, because it appears the ones with cash to spend have shot their wad, and those willing to sell at these depressed prices still seem to be around, I can take the rest of the day off for enjoyment.
the cbs marketwatch GZFX duscussion board. I don't know if this link will work but will try.
http://cbs.marketwatch.com/discussions/msgIndex.asp?siteId=mktw&parentId=2&forumId=11&bo...
Great Buy. To remain optimistic stay away from cbs board as "oking" there had been bad mouthing GZFX for weeks, if not months. He says he is completly out now and staying on the board just to be informative.
I'll 2nd that. Good buy. I feel like a really small fish with only 150K. I'm pleased that you still have this confidence.
Nothing like typing .0069 when you mean .069 to wake you up. Did anyone see the amount of that incorrectly placed sale? I don't have real-time
Patience, patience, patience. I know this is trying to stick my head in the sand, but there are going to be problems, and wrinkles to iron out. Hopefullyyou are in the minority. Otherwise we do have some big problems.
That is definitly my problem right now. On a gut feeling I've put nearly all of my capital into GZFX. Even sold stuff at a loss when it was at .13 and then more at a loss when it got down to .10. Then, trying to delute the overall cost I really unloaded and bought at .075. Result is about 150K at a fraction over .10, actually .1025. I know no one has time for sob stories but I have been in a dilemma as to whether to sell some GZFX at a loss to at least be able to play in something else that possibly may be more rewarding, or to stick it out and maybe lose more. Because I still hold a couple that should be eventually good, but floundering, I haven't been able to buy anything (other than GZFX) since 6/9. Now, that said, I know there are few words of wisdom out there, that are really noteworthy, besides "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket." Just sharing and telling someone somehow makes me feel better.
With the NFLX scandal it may be the perfect time to plunge in and throw salt in the wounds. If we have any good stats about churn rate being better than theirs would be a perfect time to advertise that fact.
That is how I take it but you may have to consider bad press releases, public opinion, in there too. Such as, I wonder how the Corvette Dale Earnhart Jr. was driving bursting into flames when gas tank ruptured is going to effect sales?
Sorry th GZFX comparison to gplay didn't come through. Just enter gameznflix.com to their board.
Traffic increasing. Better than gplay. After really dipping it appears the traffic on GZFX is increasing.

Don't know but maybe it cleared out a bunch of those willing to sell at this rediculously low price. However, considering all of the .071 and .072 since then, there may be a lot still hanging out there hoping or willing to die with just something.
When considering GZFX chances of success, I think back at Fox News tackling CNN, and tackling the BIG BOYS with other programming. We now have msnbc, and I am sure others on expanded cable. Hell, the few months old Howard Stern.com is getting more hits than Rush Limbaugh. There is a large market out there and room for expansion. David and Goliath (sp)? Maybe, and it does make for a good story. With an overall naysayer attitude there would be no start ups, no NetFlix, as those would have said you can't compete with Blockbuster, or no KIA as all of the big auto makers are out there. We only want a little part for now. If NFLX has only carved out a 2% share of the potential market there is plenty of room for GZFX. Maybe no big inroads overnight, orin several months, but eventually just grabbing some of NFLX churn will be sufficient to make these small investments very worthwhile. To the moon? Maybe. Gotta crawl before you can walk and walk before you run.
ADPR up. Seems like they're joined at hip with GZFX???? Maybe they'll push us a little or we can draft.
But hey, I am no talent scout.
It takes a real person to admit their deficiencies
Especially because the mailing costs could be cut by almost 50%. I read some where that NFLX figures a $1.62 first time turnaround and $1.20 for each one after that. Carrying this a step forward, if you wouldn't burn the DVD from a library until after the order has been received you would have absolutely no inventory to control, no storage space rental.
